Please stay away from this know it all who doesn't know much. He is abusive to seniors and takes things personally to instruct you as though he is your father. An 83 year old lady who is a friend of mine first went to see him and took with her the paperwork from her last doctor. I have a very special situation most doctors would and have automatically referred me to anyone else. He is thorough and painfully by the book but he is to me exactly what a doctor set out to become, a human being which can only help make him that much better of a Dr.

I went to see Dr. Lattin because I was having gallbladder problems. He took the time to get to know me and see if I had any other underlying issues. Some of the reviews say he doesn’t take the time to listen and his face is buried in his computer but I think he is just super focused and really trying to type everything that you’re telling him and not miss any information while trying to digest it all. His secretary Cynthia is very sweet and polite. She helped schedule an ultrasound for me right away. I had a great overall first time experience with them. My brother WAS a patient of his. Saw him for issue of shortness of breath and weakness. He sends him for blood work and chest X-ray. Yes those test are important however such symptoms need to be addressed more aggressively. Two days later doc calls past 6p and tells based on labs he called in script for fluid pill. The pharmacy closed at 8 so he wasn’t able to obtain the med. thankfully my father had Lasix I could give him until script could be obtained. Now if one is retaining enough fluid to cause difficultiy breathing w just walking to the bathroom and having to sit and rest after only a couple of steps then there’s an Issue that needs attention and recommendations of going to ER might warrant to have assessed. There was no contact from the office to check on him. I called the office Thursday, stated I was his sister and handing him the phone for him to give authorization for doc to discuss w me as my brother isn’t medical savvy and not completely understanding. The woman that answered very matter of fact said “he has to come in to do that, I can’t do thatvover the phone”. I voiced I understood however he wasn’t well, unable to come in and I needed to speak w his doc. Her response”well I don’t know who you are”. I understand pt confidentiality and hippa laws however I was ready to hand him the phone to verify who he was. She had no care or concern for him whatsoever. I was so upset w her total lack of concern or seize to help that I hung up on her. The call from doc was Tuesday evening w a follow up Monday. He managed to get through those days w self medicating by taking more Lasix than prescribed. I take him for his appt Monday. We’re running late because it’s taking so long to get ready because of being so short of breath. He calls and says he’s running late. Of course had to leave a message because no one answered. We walk in and the sane young lady says “we can’t see you because you’re beyond 15 min late”. I said he has to be seen, he’s having trouble breathing and something is wrong! She says “I understand you called and said you’d be late but it’s past 15 minutes late”. I could have strangled her and still just might. I completely understand policy however when you work in a medical facility the patients wellbeing is always first and foremost. Another thing is that no one called about his xray results. I called the office Friday morning, of course having to leave a message stating to have someone contact him regarding the results. My brother stated he got a call from the office just before noon but no message was left. He called back and no answer. From the docs office we decided to go to ER to get answers once and for all. Harford memorial did a phenomenal job. Everyone who saw him questioned his initial visit w lattin and his lack of appropriate treatment or follow up. Suggestions to seek new primary doc were obvious. My son started having a lot of strange body aches and pains that his old doctor just blew off for a year. We went to Dr Lattin and on the first visit he knew something was wrong and he referred us to a really good specialist who saw my son right away and we finally got a diagnosis. Things are much better

Office wait times are extremely long as if they over book. The secretary is very rude will hang up on you if she doesn’t understand what ur asking and that’s even if u get to talk to the secretary most times the phone sends you right to voicemail all day long and when you leave a message you will be lucky if you get a response back in a few hours. If you are thinking to switching to this doctor as a primary I would look for other options (it use to be a great doctors office) but it has gone downhill tremendously! My son and I have been patients of Dr.Lattin for 11 years. We never had and issues with the staff. In fact their nurse Tara is so caring. Yes, at times we also waited to be seen over an hour. I'm sure he was just over booked on those days. Dr.Lattin has always return my phone calls if I had a medical concern.

I came down with Guillain Barre syndrome about 13 years ago..Dr. Lattin suspected that is what is was..sent me to the hospital right away..He was right..an early diagnosis saved me a lot of pain and suffering..

Husband had DOT exam, needed cardo ppw. Dr. Lattin had ppw for days but was to lazy to go look to see if he had it and told my husband to come back later. We paid him $150 to be lazy and do nothing.
