Dr. Avallone is truly remarkable. He is personable, compassionate and caring. He spends time with you to determine the best course of treatment. He surgically repaired a completely torn quadricep tendon on my right knee; 12 years ago he successfully repaired a completely torn quadricep tendon on my left knee. He also repaired my rotator cuff years ago. I have been to several other orthopedic doctors over the years, and will now ONLY go to Dr. Avallone. Don't settle for anything less.

Very thorough and explained every thing in detail. Answered all my questions and I have complete confidence in him. The office staff was very nice and accommodating. I could not have been more pleased.

Dr Avallone performed a Arthroscopic knee surgery on me. It was suppose to take 6-8 weeks to recover. Over a year later I still have so much pain I cannot stand for more than 5 minutes. I did all the PT and he basically told me to movie on.

Dr. Avallone cares about his patients and always helps them make the best decisions for their health. That is why he was the only orthopedic surgeon for my mother when she needed to have her rotator cuff repaired. He was caring and listened to her; he explained everything in a way she would understand. Her surgery went very well, and he followed up to make sure she was doing well later that day. If you're looking for a trustworthy, intelligent, caring orthopedic surgeon, look no further than him

After seeing several orthopedic doctors over the past 5 years, I met with dr. Avallone and was pleasantly surprised at the difference in care and the time he took in treating and caring for my injury. Other facilities have left me feeling underwhelmed with little time spent trying to figure out what is wrong and more time spent rushing you into surgery. I underwent surgery for a shoulder repair (by Dr. Avallone) and am now 13 weeks out with great success.

I had rotator cuff surgery and my shoulder was in pretty bad shape. Dr. Avallone and his entire staff were amazing! Such professionals and thorough along the way, pre and post-surgery. Dr. Avallone was extremely insightful and informative. My recovery has been going great thanks to him and his staff. I highly recommend Dr. Avallone. He is truly a blessing. Frank

Dr. Avallone and I have a long history. He performed two rotator cuff surgeries over the past 4 years. Recently, I was having severe knee pain and after an MRI, the doctor that I was referred to insisted on "shooting me up" or Surgery... No other options. Upset, I called Dr. Avallone's office and they scheduled me immediately. DR. Avallone suggested Physical Therapy and took the time to explain my options. Needless to say, I have been building strength and rehabbing my leg and the pain is gone.

I was having complications after my ACL repair and decided to get another opinion. I am so glad I did, Dr. Avallone is the best! He and his office arranged to fit me in, at the last minute, for a visit while I was home from college. He was very nice and took the time to explain my situation and what needed to be done to correct the problem. Day one after surgery I noticed a big difference in my knee and I am so thankful to Dr. Avallone. I only wish I found him when I had my initial injury!

Over the past 4 years, Dr. Avallone has operated on my ankle, my foot and my knee. He is always very kind and compassionate and he takes time with his patients. He really cares about his patients. The staff in his office are very friendly and conscientious. All three of the surgeries performed on me by Dr Avallone healed up extremely well. The scars are hard to see and the PT process went well for all of the surgeries. I highly recommend Dr. Avallone!

I've been to see Dr.Avallone on several occasions and he always give you adequate time and explanations for your condition. Most recently he helped me through an ankle fracture. He's smart,kind,experienced & not hard on the eyes to look at.

I had left knee meniscus repair by Dr Avallone in Morristown out Patient center. Dr Avallone was fantastic! From testing through recovery I felt he was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. His staff in St Lukes was helpful and courteous. And the Morristown facility was top notch! Nothing but rave reviews. I've been through too many surgeries in my life and this was without a doubt the most organized and stress free experience I've ever had. My knee feels great! Thanks Doc!

The problem is not with the doctor but rather with the front office. No one seems to know what they are doing and were very unhelpful. One person refused to fax an MRI request to a local facility without their fax number. While I was looking if up they hung up. Second person said they were not supposed to fax anything to other facilities because it wasted office time but said she would make an acceptation. However she never actually faxed the order. Hospital needed to call. Time on hold - 30 min

His bedside manner is great! He takes the time to really listen to your problems, and is very knowledgeable. Best surgeon I have ever met!

I saw Dr. Avalon in June 2016 I was diagnosed with surgical fixation Lisfranc surgery . He was very very unprofessional told me he would do the surgery called me eight hours later to tell me he did not want the responsibility . Thank the Lord I found Dr. Mark Solomon he was wonderful!very knowledgeable about my injury had the surgery done to days later and now I'm walking 3 1/2 months later thanks to Dr. Mark Solomon .

His office is always packed. They make you wait an hour + to have an appointment that lasts 2 minutes. They schedule appointments 10 minutes apart. Also, they would not even give me my simple MRI results over the phone or pick them up. They said I had to schedule another follow up appointment. So unless you want to spend the day at the Dr, don't go to this office !!!

Do not see if you are in actual pain and over weight. I was told that I have no cartilage in my knee and he will not give me any pain relief. When I asked about an injection that is supposed to help Luberacate, I was told due to my size I would need a radiologist to administer the injection. I said ok. He then said I have to be hands off on this situation and left the room.

Dr. Avallone performed rotator cuff surgery on me on May 5. The pre-op appointments and the day of surgery interaction with Dr. Avallone were informative, expertly handled, with superb bedside manners. The surgery went off without a hitch. He provided the On-Q drip medicine so that the first days after surgery I felt no pain. Post-op appointments have been filled with information about my recovery, his goals for my recovery, and compassion. He is one of my best doctors, ever.

He takes his time with you and is very personable!

Have no complaints. Each visit I leave with a clear explanation of what's going on.
