Dr Colyvas did a great job fixing me. He was in touch before and after my surgery which I really appreciated. Thank you so much to you and your entire team of healthcare workers and providers for repairing my collarbone. I broke my collarbone (with a displaced fracture)a year ago. Recovery took some work and PT but I’m back at work as an icu nurse without problems and I’m lifting weights, mountain biking, etc like the injury never happened. I’m a bit more careful though. Dr Colyvas was cautious about the success probability of an arthroscopic meniscal surgery, but when I said that I hoped for a solid return to athletic movement, he suggested this was probably the best option. He kept me informed all the way and I'm now in recovery stage and about to start PT. Delighted.

I am grateful to Dr. Colyvas for his gracious contributions to my shoulder diagnosis and surgery. While he was not my primary doctor, Dr. Colyvas was generously helping behind the scenes. He initially provided his expertise in diagnosing my condition and then volunteered to be a co-surgeon during my complicated revision shoulder surgery. He was instrumental in finding a solution, during surgery, to a problem that was caused by my previous doctor. Because of Dr. Colyvas, I had a shorter surgery, a smaller scar, and a fully functional shoulder once again. I only briefly met Dr. Colyvas, but his kindness and care were transparent and of equal balance to the tremendous skill and knowledge he possesses.

Dr Colyvas operated my left knee for menisci and cartilage repairs. Everything has gone exactly as he described it to me during my visits with him prior to the surgery. He is caring, professional, and very personable physician. When, in my first post-op visit he wanted to check the reason my calf was swollen, he immediately sent me to the ER for the necessary tests. He called me both evenings: following my surgery, and following my short ER visit. I highly recommend Dr Colyvas for anyone with sport injuries.

Very informative and supportive

Dr. Colyvas is the best. I completely blew out everything in my left knee save for my ACL. Dr. Colyvas was able to put it all together and I was fully recovered ahead of schedule. Great doctor, great staff, don't consider anyone else.

Great experience with Dr Colyvas on my ACL reconstruction surgery. Even during this COVID-19 period, he and the team did a fantastic job before, during and after surgery.

He is the best. I saw Dr. Colyvas for an ACL repair and he was informative and personable. He provided options for me and did not pressure a choice but rather offered educated opinions based on his experience with my injury and with attention to my age, health, daily activities, and hobbies. The surgery went well and he was very attentive to my recovery.

I saw Dr. Colyvas for a second opinion after the first doctor deemed I needed immediate surgery to repair a shoulder injury resulting from a fall. Dr. Colyvas decided to follow a more conservative route and do PT first before we jumped into surgery. PT was great but couldn’t get me over the hurdle. At this point surgery was the next course of action. I’ve just had my first post-OP and everything went well. He has been very attentive, friendly, and answers all my questions to my satisfaction. He may run a few minutes late, but I’ve learned that if he responds to all patients as he does with me then that explains it because I never feel rushed.

I went to this doctor and he was clueless. I got a second opinion and now on my way to recovery. Stay away!

He is excellent doctor. He has been very patient to answer our questions, he also explained briefly by drawing pictures about knee , i would say he is best .

I think so far since the time Dr. Colyvas performed medical procedures, tests, surgery up to this time of my recovery, he and his team did a great job, especially in providing reminders, giving me guidelines and checking in my status on a daily basis. On the surgery day and 1st week, his team did a great job to provide me a painless surgery without the feeling of fatigue or nausea after the surgery. I felt painless during the next 2 days and the pain relievers were effective.

Great care. Had a complex shoulder injury, and Dr. Colyvas did an excellent job. Took a conservative approach towards whether or not I needed surgery, ultimately decided yes after several months of PT, and did an very good job on the repair. 2nd shoulder surgery for me, Dr. Colyvas was extremely diligent about preparing for it (communicated w Dr. who did last one, walked me through procedure) and the operation / recovery was comparably easy. Would highly recommend.

Dr Colyvas was extremely personable as well as professional. I felt confident in his ability as a surgeon because he made sure I understood what he was doing. He did not want me to have any unanswered questions and even went as far as to tell me that I could make another appointment before surgery. I am 2 weeks post surgery and am feeling great.
