We met Dr.Craig the night my father was hospitalized at John T Mather hospital in the emergency room He then determined that dad had a inflected gallbladder He was courteous and well prepared to “deal” with an older Italian patient set in his ways He brought my father though the surgery and honestly his advice and patience saved his life There were complications after not because of the surgery but my dads age and many medical undertones Dr. Craig went above and beyond to care for him And our whole family He returned calls made multiple visits and spoke with sound judgement He was a comfort to our family and did an incredible job After 19 days of hospitalization dad is home and thriving Thank you Dr. Craig and the incredible team at John T Mather hospital Sincerely The Gasper Riggi family (Especially his daughter!) I credit Dr. Craig for saving my colon. I thought I was going to have a routine hernia surgery until Dr. Craig found out I had a strangulated hernia. This required emergency surgery which he performed on a Sunday night. Every doctor would have performed a colostomy but Dr. Craig did a special procedure, which he later told me he had done before. This procedure saved the previously strangulated portion of my colon. Although this required a second surgery, I am now pretty much back to normal, only a little over a month later! If he had done a colostomy, it would have taken 6 months to a year to heal and reverse. I am an active person and I am grateful to Dr. Craig. While at the hospital and at home convalescing, NONE of the nurses ever even heard of the procedure Dr. Craig performed. Members of my own family who are doctors or otherwise in the medical field never heard of this either. Nor any of their medical friends. My experience with Dr. Craig was wonderful from the moment we met in the emergency room he was a total gentleman a caring doctor and an asset to Saint Matthias and any patients he has ever taken care of In my eyes, God has gifted him with a special talent, gifted hands and a wonderful staff at his side, helping healing people Don Klang

Dr. Craig is an excellent doctor in every way. the women who does the billing is a nightmare. She was insinuating that my insurance company sent me a $135.00 check that I kept. she was rude on the phone threatening to send it to collections as I was telling her I would call my insurance company to see what is going on. I said their is no need to threatening collections and she said " i'm sorry you feel that way, good bye. Class act you have there Dr. Craig. P.S. I had gall bladder surgery in September, I have double insurance that paid the doctor $40,000.00 in October and this is how she spoke to me for a $135.00 balance. unbelievable.

I chose to visit this doctor based on the positive reviews on this board. However, despite my rating the office environment and staff as excellent, I was very disappointed in my meeting with the doctor. He was very curt and dismissal in attitude and spent only 3-4 minutes

Dr. Craig is an excellent surgeon with excellent bedside manor and competent in every way...nothing ever bad to say...you can trust your life with his expertise.

A truly phenomenal doctor! Dr. Craig did a biopsy for lymph nodes on me. He was kind and compassionate. He fully informed me of the procedure and results, not putting me off to talk to my oncologist. He even took time out of his personal vacation time to remove the drain tube in my side. If you need a surgeon, this is the man to do it!

Dr Craig is a supremely competent and caring physician that practices medicine the way it should be. He is an excellent communicator and his office staff is highly professional and responsive. Would give him 6 stars if it was possible!

I was in miserable pain and was lucky enough T to have Dr Craig as my surgeon! Just released after laparoscopic surgery feeling soooooo much better with minimal scaring. His calming nature put me right at ease. He took the time to talk me through every step and checked up on me following the surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend him he is The Best !
