Great Surgeon. Writing this review about 2.5 years post operation from DJS. Recovery was a difficult, but noticeably easier than others that I’ve read online. I feel that the only explanation for this was due to the excellent and professional job done by Dr. Desai and his team. I can say after this time passed, everything has remained great post-op. No regression in my bite, sensation in my nerves have fully returned, and my jaw works better than ever. Thanks Dr. Desai for fulfilling a life-changing decision.

He was extremely caring and taking his time to explain what to expect before, during, and after the surgery, prepping what is normal even if it looks scary. I highly recommend Dr. Desai for his professionalism, amazing surgery result, and transparency throughout the whole process. He was extremely caring and taking his time to explain what to expect before, during, and after the surgery, prepping what is normal even if it looks scary. I have yet to have my surgery but I have the upmost confidence in Dr. Desai, he has an amazing bedside manner and throughout the months of my pre-orthodontics as I await Double Jaw Surgery to correct my overbite for sleep apnea I'm constantly asking questions and he gets back to me promptly in full detail. Greatly appreciate him working with me and all my questions so diligently!

Had my first visit with Dr. Desai last week. He has great bedside manner, answered all my questions (and I have many) and has given me the confidence to finally have my jaw surgery. I am an ER nurse and know how very difficult it is to find a doctor that you like. I highly recommend doctor Desai based on my first visit. Will continue to update....

I had major jaw surgery about 18 months ago at Kaiser and was very pleased with Dr. Desai and his team. My jaw was moved forward 10mm because of my severe sleep apnea. I could not tolerate CPAP, so I had the surgery as a last resort and I am so grateful for Dr. Desai and his group. My sleep has improved a great deal. It is very rare to find a doctor who is both very skilled but also takes the time to explain everything to me. This is an amazing group of professionals!
