Dr. Sheth is a very proficient doctor and has a wonderful bedside manner. He explains conditions in detail and the various options for treatment. I feel that I am in excellent hands with him and I trust him completely.
I wouldn't recommend Dr. Sheth to anyone. Anyone. He was rude, cynical, unconcerned and un-helpful. I left his office untreated. Chesapeake Urology is scraping the bottom of the barrel with this dud. Either its an oversight or they are running some kind of medical mill.I will have to assume the latter.I wont be back, ever.
Staff was friendly, office was clean and the computerized check in system was simple to use. The Medical Assistant was friendly and Dr. Sheth did a thorough exam. My issue is with the wait time. My appointment was 11:30. The doctor walked in the room at 12:55. I mentioned I was not happy with the wait. Dr. Sheth stated he had three emergencies come in which set him back. I told him a staff member should have called and asked me to come in later. He actually said I was right.
Dr. Sheth is a very kind, compassionate doctor. I had a kidney stone that he eventually had to remove. He carefully explained the procedure so I was well prepared.

Views patients as a business component than providing good, high quality patient care Too much in a hurry to listen to patients concerns. Acted as a facilitator vs a physician and referred everything out to other providers instead of caring for my medical needs. Talked down to me as if I was a child. When questioned process of care became oppositional and defensive. Was 20 mins late in seeing me even though I was first patient of day.
