Dr. Thakur is one outstanding orthopedic surgeon.His knowledge and expertise is incredible. His bed side manner makes you feel like your talking to a family member.I would recommend Dr. Thakur to anyone with spinal issues. Dr.Thakur and assistant Greg Parks PA are two guys you'd probably like going out for a beer with! Thanks to them and all the caring people at Orthopedics Northeast!!

My visits are always good. He answers all my questions and I leave feeling like I understand everything. He has kept me out of a wheelchair for sure.

Dr. Thakur is perfect for me. He is professional & easy to talk to. He has a sense of humor. My visits with him made me confident that my surgery will be successful.

Dr Thakur is the best in the business!! There is no one better I recommend him highly. Dr Thakur has changed my life for the better!!!

I think Dr Thakur is amazing. I saw him in 2018 when my back first started bothers me and he explained what to expect. 4 years later I now need a spine fusion and again he is right on top of everything. He also explains things in a way I can understand.

Dr. Thakur was very thorough and explained in detail the options. Gave me the confidence to move forward with options given. Great staff, friendly, and professional. I have had great success with Dr. Pletka, Dr. Dowd, and Dr. Palma. I am sure this will continue. See you soon.

Dr Thakur is kind of a rare breed . He listens to you and takes your word to heart . My personal assessment. Diagnosis is explained thoroughly in lamens terms . Follow up care is the same process thorough explanation with a game plan.

The entire staff are very welcoming and caring. Very professional and skilled medical staff willing to answer questions and devise a plan to improve your well being. I have been a patient of theirs for many years and would recommend them to anyone.

I was impressed with his concern, testing me, review of my pain issues, easily understood explanation of what's wrong and what he recommends, and his confidence.

I have had nothing but great experiences. From receptionists, X-ray techs, nurses, to the PA and doctors. Everyone is pleasant, friendly and professional. They make you feel good and more relaxed. Dr Thakur is wonderful, very knowledgeable, shows you what he sees on X-rays or mri and gives you the options and if surgery is needed he does a great job explaining what will happen from start, surgery, aftercare in hospital and home, follow ups needed and what kind of therapy is needed. I have had very bad back pain for over 25 years and tried everything and it wasn’t until having surgeries that the pain has been decreased to tolerable enough to do light activities like walking around store with carriage to lean on, light housework like dusting, and small amts but hopefully will increase amts of walking outside. I thanks him and all his staff for my excellent care and I would refer friends and family to him and his colleagues that I have dealt with. I have had nothing but great experiences. Check in line was extremely slow, but once inside everything ran like clockwork. Dr. Thakur is very friendly and explains everything in a way that I can understand. He took his time, even though my appt started 35 min late due to check in process. Highly recommend this practice.

All staff are gracious and friendly. Surgery went well and follow-up went well.

Always efficient, personable and explains things so my 13 year old can understand. Excellent diagnostician at fitting symptoms with imaging and putting together a solid plan.

I was very pleasantly surprised to be told that my anticipated neck surgery would not be necessary at this time. I appreciate a bias for conservative treatment.

He's a amazing doctor, friendly and very passionate with his work. He lives for his patients.

Dr T is the best! He has proformed 2 surgeries & 1 procedure on myself and 2 surgeries on my husband. He is personalble, funny and remembers you and conversations you had with him. Highly recomend!

Even during this Covid-19 time Dr. Thakur was diligent to schedule my surgery quickly. If he had not done it as soon as possible I would have suffered permanent damage to my nerve. After years of suffering from sports related injuries, Dr. Thakur articulated a clear plan from our first meeting and was very involved throughout the entire process. He's a special guy, I highly recommend seeing him and his team.

Dr. Thakur explained everything very well and gave me time to ask many questions and gave excellent answers to my questions.

I've been going to orthopedics Northeast for a while myself and my daughter I have seen many doctors in this practice and I have not had a problem with any of them they are just amazing

Dr. Thakur is a fantastic surgeon! You cannot go wrong with having him conduct your surgery. My back surgery went flawless. I highly recommend Dr. Thakur and his team.

A lot of times the wait is a little too long but you couldn’t ask for a better doctor. I have been seeing Dr Thakur for a couple of years now and wouldn’t go to anyone else. He is very pleasant and easy to talk to. He is very down to earth and makes you feel comfortable.

Communication has been terrific. Surgery plan was always clear and the follow-through was right on. I like him and feel very confident that he is a great surgeon. My results thus far have been excellent, and I attribute much of that to his skill. His assistants, both in the office and in the hospital, were excellent as well.

Was referred to Thakur. Failed spinal fusion by him and he lied that it was perfect. Used recalled hardware and never said so that now has to be removed or paralysis. Pain worse than before surgery. Staff miserable. Waiting room like a cattle call. Frightening.
