This was my first time meeting with Dr. Surtani. My first impression was exactly what you would want to have of the Dr. who will be performing your surgery. He was friendly, confident and he communicates very clearly. He was patient and explained everything in detail. He was not rushed and asked if we had any questions or concerns. He came highly recommended by many people and it was quite obvious why. He is knowledgeable and experienced. I will be having surgery with him on Feb.2nd. He made me feel very comfortable and confident with my decision.

Dr. Surtani is a professional and compassionate surgeon and easy to work with. His staff is excellent and supportive throughout the process.

Was having knee pain for about 5 weeks. Was able to schedule an appointment within 3 days. Dr Surtani was able to diagnose and provide treatment that same day. I found him personable and very caring. Would highly recommend. The staff at CIO were excellent also.

Very compassionate, professional

Dr Surtani and his staff provided excellent care from the beginning of my treatment until the end. He listened and worked to make my treatment plan personalized so that I could return to activities I enjoy without pain. He worked with the physical therapy group to make sure that I regained mobility & strength at a rate that was comfortable.

I went to Fishers because it is closer to where I am staying and the appointment was the next day. I am glad I got to see Dr Surtani because he was friendly and explained the condition well. I would recommend him to anyone else

I am a patient since 2014. I have had success with 2 knee replacement and shoulder repair. I had a recent problem with severe pain on left leg which was keeping from sleeping. I called and got an appt within the week. Checking was easy, waiting time was short ( less than 20 min). Staff were kind and Dr. Surtani evaluated my problem and determined a course of treatment including meds and PT. I was very satisfied with my visit and look forward to working toward a return to regular activities in near future. I recommend Dr Surtani and his Staff at Anderson CIO.

Dr. Surtani explained my problem very thoroughly. He didn’t rush me at all, even though I was late for my appointment. He seemed to genuinely care. This was my first visit. He was highly recommended as the doctor to go to for my shoulder. I’m glad I did.

During my visit with Dr. Surtani, he was very professional and extremely patient in reviewing my many problematic symptoms. After a thorough exam, treatment and prescribed meds, I was able to sleep thru the night for the first time in months! Ongoing tests were ordered and I am certain Dr. Surtani will find the cause of these symptoms.

After my husbands SECOND complete knee replacement with him this past May, I can not recommend him. And just to make everyone aware, we only owed $200 on his bill, and Dr Surtani turned us into collection. I guess you’d better plan to pony that money up onto a charge card, if you weren’t fortunate enough to have it lying around to pay, atleast mostly in full. Because he can, and will turn you in even if you’ve gone back to work 2 weeks ahead of time to be able to begin to pay said bill. I myself, had surgery at St Vincent Anderson back in July, on three problems I had going on. And consequently, went back to grooming dogs a week(!) out, because we pay our bills. So to have this happen, is completely disappointing. And disheartening for my husband. We pride ourselves in paying on time, any and all bills. And Dr Surtani just won’t and doesn’t. I’ve always spoken so highly of him. After this low blow, I cannot. I suggest having cash, in hand, if you plan to do business with him.

Dr. Surtani and his staff are excellent when I go there I always find out what's wrong and what we can do I would recommend anyone and I have recommended people to go and see the doctor if they have any problems thank you

Had an Consultation Appt prior to having Surgery. Was impressed with Dr. Surtani. He examined me and explained everything.

My experience was not so great. I understand being behind on a busy day but common courtesy would be nice. After waiting darn near hour then his stsff decides to come out and say we are behind. I thought i was going to a doctor who was A-1. HE needs more people skills...unprofessional when discussing your care in the halls with others. Referring to your Care as Mess. Im glad others had a great experience. Never had a doctor to talk try to talk down. Its Apparent you deal with Black Patients .

I called for an appointment and got in the next day. Which was so nice since I was in a lot pain. Office staff is very nice. Very helpful. Dr. Surtani is a wonderful doctor, always spending enough time to make sure all of your concerns are addressed. I got my Big Shot, I like to call it, and by evening all pain was gone. Thank you Dr. Surtani!

He looked through the notes from my previous doctor, which made me feel good. Then he showed me the difference between my old x-rays and the ones done that day and explained to me what he saw. Then he gave me his plan for treatment. He whole staff was great.

I was very happy with the treatment and everyone that works there.

His care and his attention to details make you feel immediately at ease when weighing the pros and cons of joint replacement surgery. He’s upfront if he doesn’t think a procedure will work best for you. I had my TKR done as an outpatient surgery. That evening, Dr. Surtani himself called to personally check on me. Certainly don’t hear of that happening often enough these days.

I left his office somewhat overwhelmed and somewhat confused. This was my first time to meet Dr Surtani.

Very knowledgeable and thorough. Explains things in an easy to understand fashion. Outstanding listener wanting to hear your story. I did not feel rushed.

Dr. Surtani is superb! My care started with conservative treatment with a couple of injections. Ultimately, had to have surgery on my knee. I couldn’t be happier with my outcome. I highly recommend him.
