I had been told that Dr. Anne was the best in the area. She may be the best surgeon but she is not the best physician. Her appointments must be scheduled for 5 minutes because the waiting area was FULL. She was in my room for less than 2 minutes and acted like she couldn't be bothered to answer any of my questions - basically "trust me." Cancer is a scary thing. She may see it a few times a day but for her patients, we are sensitized and scared. At least take a 3rd minute in the exam room to fake empathy.

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews like this but I felt so incredibly disrespected and degraded by Dr. Anne that I feel an obligation to others to write this. I am truly saddened that Dr. Anne is a representation of the physicians and surgeons in our health care system. As a field that is supposed to be an advocate for patients and support them through tough times, I can say that Dr. Anne did neither one of those things. I left her office feeling unheard, disregarded, and frankly insulted. I was accosted for seeing other providers for a second opinion and borderline denied treatment for this reason, as it apparently may have insulted Dr. Anne. This happened before I even gave a history of my condition. I held back tears in the clinic room and I truly hope that no patient is ever subjected to the complete lack of empathy I received from Dr. Anne at my visit. I believe that she should be stripped of her medical license as I felt more depressed about my diagnosis and hopeless

I had a horrible experience today and left in tears bc Dr Anne didn’t feel the several nodules, cysts in a report handed to me needed explaining. I realize they stated normal but when I went to my first appt I only had one nodule . This Appt I had cysts and several nodules and had no idea what that meant. When I asked her she dismissed me saying she wasn’t a tech and couldn’t explain it. Excuse me you operate on people but can’t Explain the report?! In addition I did mention at the beginning of the appt I was going through menopause and need hormones. She discouraged them and said we would talk when we go over report. Since report was ok she didn’t even see me after mammo and ultrasound! Rude receptionist also! I’ll drive hours before returning and god forbid having cancer with the lack of compassion. The tech and nurse were nice..

Dr Anne needs to improve her attitude and don’t ignore patient’s questions and concerns. She blames everyone around her if mistakes are made and patient has complications. Be aware.

It has been my privilege to be under the care of Dr. Anne recently. I found her to be very thorough, very compassionate, listened to me carefully, explained all necessary details carefully and definitely instilled confidence in me, as I'm sure she does with all her patients. Through her caring intervention, Medicare paid for a high priced, vital test that they initially refused to pay. She is a definite asset to Lourdes. She was highly recommended to me by a knowledgeable friend and I will certainly recommend her to anyone who asks.

I cannot recommend strongly enough the ongoing care I have received from Dr. Anne. She’s highly skilled: in June 2015 she was able to biopsy my invasive cancer in a little area that looked different on an ultrasound but never even showed up on a mammogram. During that rough time Dr. Anne spent as much time as I needed discussing options for treatment and was a true partner in helping me figure out what course of action to take. She helped me evaluate the different options and make a choice I felt good about. She never talks down to me, and is an incredible ally for her patients. She did such a careful job medically (she got out the cancer!) as well as aesthetically, I barely notice the 5-square-centimeter chunk of my left breast that’s gone. She’s been monitoring me for the past four years, and I feel like I have a fierce protector on my side. If, god forbid, my cancer returns I have 100% faith that Dr. Anne will find it early and help me beat it, again. Thank you, Dr. Anne!

I absolutely love Dr. Anne. She is thorough, thoughtful, and likes to be on time. I've seen her for about 10 years and been through breast cancer with her by my side. I advise anyone looking for a good breast care doctor to see her.

I strongly agree with all of the other patients' reviews. Dr. Annes's bedside manner is in need of improvement, her attitude is condescending, and her recommendations inaccurate. I came to her during a very scary time in my life and she acted like she would treat and support me. When it was time for the support, however, she couldn't be bothered to return one of my four phone calls. Never have I experienced a provider who was lacking in every way. Turns out that no matter how many pamphlets and signs you have a out all of your outstanding about various accomplishments, it doesn't result in patient satisfaction. I strongly recommend that patients seek treatment elsewhere!

Unfortunately, I found Dr Anne to be ill informed and insensitive to issues regarding breastfeeding. She is somewhat condescending and not interested in listening. The office staff, however, could not have been any nicer.

Had a very bad experience with Dr Anne. After my left mastectomy I somehow ended up with MRSA and she refused to treat me. Exact words.... "i haven't lanced a boil in 20 years and I'm not about to start now." Unbelievable considering your a general surgeon as well as my breast surgeon. She walked out of room leaving me to go home with a big hole in my chest... 2 years later still having major issue's from her surgery. Upon leaving her office Diane called police saying I made a bomb threat.

Dr Anne is very courteous, intelligent, and has a great bedside manner. In my opinion, she's one of the best doctors I've ever seen. She's always willing to explain things and answer any questions.

I was very disappointed at the whole experience. My daughter, who is two, and I waited over an hour and forty minutes to see the doctor after arriving 10 minutes early as requested. It did not seem that she had any experience interacting with children and treated us quite rudely. We will be finding another specialist who has better bedside manner and who can work effectively with children.

Awful person. The way she speaks to staff is disgusting. Definitely will NOT go back and support her abusive behavior.

My wife sees Dr Anne for breast cancer. The doctor impressed us with her knowledge and her compassion. She is easily accessible and ready to answer questions
