Dr. Norman Markowitz

I love this doctor so much! I had some severe medical issues. He has amazing bed side manner, is incredibly smart and knows so much. I would give him 5 stars but his NP took me off medications with out weaning them down and made me really sick and didn't know what she was doing.

The list of errors is extensive. Here are two . . . When I asked about medicine for my Osteopenia, Dr. Markowitz immediately agreed without telling me the medication is only used for patients with Osteoporosis. My husband and I were over charged by his office over the last 4 years by over $400.00. I faxed them my request for a billing review with no response. When I asked about medicine for my Osteopenia, Dr. Markowitz immediately agreed without telling me the medication is only used for patients with Osteoporosis. Had my first visit with Dr. Markowitz in November. Very thorough and fast follow up with test results. Office staff was equally cordial, professional and efficient.

Dr. Norman Markowitz is not only an excellent doctor with clean facilities and amazing staff. But his beside manner is one of a kind. Dr. Markowitz and his staff make you feel like your right at home. Also Dr Megan is great too! :) Recommend 100%!!!

Office staff are wonderful. Markowitz is too busy to bother with patient questions. Not sure why this site says he does telehealth because we've asked for it and the office says this isn't available.

Dr. Markowitz has been my PCP for 20 years. He is patient, understanding and takes time to explain his diagnosis and treatment plan.

He's getting better! My father has been seeing this guy for years, and seriously, I have no idea why. Thank goodness, he finally got rid of Dr. Li. Anywayz. Dad went there Tuesday to get home care setup. Guess what? The ONLY thing the dr setup was PT. Seriously? He specifically requested the chore program, fka Custodial Care. Dr. //said// my father would be getting 28 hours of care, including PT, Visiting Nurse, and the home chore program. Too bad that's not at all what was actually ordered. Having to setup everything and then follow up just to make sure this guy does what he says he's gonna do is practically a full time job in and of itself.

Dr Markowitz is the best. Very knowledgeable and empathetic. Been going to him for years and would highly recommend his service!

Sara from the office is very helpful and all of the ladies are nice and care about helping you the best they can.

Love Dr. Markowitz, my husband and I have been going to doc for many many years! He listens and my husband is very pleased with him as well!

Dr. Markowitz has been my doctor for the last 24 years and he has always taken care of me and my family. He took care of my parents as well. I don't trust any other doctor to be our family doctor. Love this man.

Overall a great physician. Quality bedside manners and helpful staff. I have been recently been a patient of Dr. Markowitz and he has been very helpful by providing you with his findings in a language the patient can understand and gives you viable options on treatments.

our family doctor for over 20 years, wouildn't change for any reason ! feels like family and friend! very approachable, doesn't rush you ! he hears you, but also listens to you !

Horrible staff and service as they do not care about the patient.

Had an apt with Dr. Lee and had never been more disrespected by a doctor before in my life. Extremely rude. He barged out of the apt because i was questioning him about my condition and about whether his suggestion would be best, as i had already tried it previously. I was not being offensive or rude, yet he got up and left in the middle of me talking because he felt like i was dismissing him and didn't want to repeat himself again. I have never had a doctor throw a tantrum like that. That same day at 9PM he called to apologize. I will be switching offices after that experience. Excellent doctor. Highly recommend

We love Dr. Markowitz.  My family has relied on him for 26 years.  Twice he diagnosed medical problems that other doctors had missed when they read the tests and xrays.  Once it was an aortic abdominal aneurysm in my husband requiring immediate attention. He literally saved my husband's life.   He goes the extra mile.   Dr. Markowitz is kind, caring and friendly, and he listens and explains.  We trust him with our lives.

To clarify, my father is the client, not me. I'm just the one who has to deal with the fallout from their incompetence. The doctor himself might be fine, but those he chooses to associate with need a lot of work, especially Dr. Lee as another reviewer stated, and most recently the in-home care vendor. Unfortunately my father is loyal to a fault, and says things like, "I'm not dead yet so they must be doing something right" when the topic of switching doctors comes up. It's true that someone is doing something right ... I, however, am not convinced that it's this doctor or his associates. Yes, I try to work directly with them when issues arise. If you're a complex medical case you might want to go somewhere else. Also, you sure don't want to get stuck with his partner Dr. Lee.

Dr. Markowitz has always treated me and my wife with honesty and caring. I have been going to see him for over 30 years, He also has a great staff. I always feel better ater a visit to see Doctor Norman Markowitz
