My recent knee replacement has been very successful. I had complete confidence in Dr. a. And his team. I am working hard on my end and they are there with 100percent support??

My experience with him was terrible. Out of all the doctors I have had take me under their “care”, he definitely had some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Completely dismissive, didn’t listen to my concerns, and didn’t even ATTEMPT to further figure out what was wrong with my arm (aside from the diagnosis the MRI concluded 5/6 months ago). Told me “basically everything was normal”,despite my arm still being swollen and restricted in movement this many months later post 3/4 months of physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, steroid medication a and cortisone shot. His handy dandy, very thoughtful, recommendation was physical therapy, despite me already having done physical therapy 2-3 times a week, for a few months. This was a waste of a copay, as well as an experience that I don’t wish anyone else to have that is trying to seek relief for an injury. If I could, I would give him zero stars.

My appointment with Dr. Adigweme was fantastic. He was efficient, compassionate, and most importantly knowledgable. I will be recommending him to friends and family with orthopedic needs in the future. 10/10.

The doctor and his team were excellent, I was injured in early December and was finally referred out to Ortho. This was the first time I felt that someone had put aside all the bull that comes with a work related injury and strictly focused the patient. Although Dr Adigweme seems to be an excellent surgeon, his "bedside" manner leaves a lot to be desired. My very first appt with him, I was kept waiting for 55 minutes beyond my scheduled appt time. When he finally came into the room, no apology for keeping me waiting 55 minutes, no real introduction. His first words to me were "I saw you had an appt last week with Dr. VanDykes PA. Why are you here to see me?" He came across as extremely rude & acted as if I was wasting his time when I was in dire need of a total hip replacement. I don't think he spent more than 5 minutes in the room with me before the surgery scheduler came in & got me. Nothing was explained to me what to expect after the surgery or anything. All he said was that when I woke up I would have no groin or knee pain. NOT. I was completely unprepared & ignorant of what was involved in a hip replacement. I am grateful for the surgery. I just feel he truly needs to work on his people skills.

Dr. Adigweme, PA-C Ranil and entire staff are the best. The entire process from the initial meeting with Dr. A,, and the staffs very thorough scheduling, ongoing communications, made the process seamless. The surgery went better than I ever expected. It was wonderful to not have any hip pain. Home PT arranged for 2 weeks and was walking without pain, cane. My sincere appreciation for the professionalism and surgical skills of everyone involved. Dr. Adigweme did a total knee replacement for me at the outpatient center and it was a great experience. My knee is feeling better than before the surgery after 2 Months. Ranil Sirigampola PA-C was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable for my follow up exams and appointments. He answered any questions I had and offered great advice. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the Patient Care Team. They were always extremely helpful, eager to assist with anything I needed. They were very fast responding to request for medication refills and questions I may have had. Always friendly and kind. I will be back for my other knee when the time comes. Joe.....

A medical person comes into the room. He didn't address me by name and, more importantly for a first time patient, he didn't identify himself. Later, he basically stated that what I had to say was meaningless -- not a good way to communicate with a suffering, stressed out patient. He said there was no evidence of any problem. Then he just sat there looking at me. I am a math instructor and master teacher trainer. Communication is critical when a professional helper seeks to inform the person being served. A dialog is key (especially in a 1 on 1 situation). There was none of that. At 72, I have a long medical history with ups and downs and it's somewhat unique (as it is to most everyone). I expect a professional helper to spend time developing a well-rounded view of me as a person and as a medical "case". Considering the amount of time I spent trying to drag information out of Dr. Adigweme, the time would have been better spent really listening and valuing my words.

Weird personality. Seemed angry the whole visit as if I was inconveniencing him. Tried to get some help/suggestions regarding my unstable joint, but I was simply told I had some arthritis. Didn't seem interested in answering questions or being helpful whatsoever. I will be seeking a different doctor in the future. I will have to seek some exercises and therapy via other avenues it seems.

Dr. Adigweme did the total knee replacement for my left knee. I had the choice of the hospital or the surgical center. The surgical center was the best choice! It was done on an outpatient basis and I could be home in my own bed. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Adigweme and his team. They were caring and highly professional. I did not have the same experience with the first knee replacement at ORMC. I’m so excited to be walking again at only 7 weeks post op!!

Dr. O and his staff has been absolutely amazing from pre surgery care to post surgery care.

I visited Dr. Adigweme yesterday for my 6 weeks follow up for my second knee replacement. He and his team were personable and caring and actually saw you as a person. They were attentive and called several times to check on me after the surgery.. I get emotional about this but I can actually go on walks with my husband now (His legs are still longer and faster than me!) even though I can't quite keep up with him! Said it was obvious I had no rotator cuff issues. Didn't bother to look at my records which showed I had two torn tendons. Felt he was rushing and was not interested in my well-being.

Dr. Adigweme took his time and thoroughly explained all the options I had to treat my arthritic needs. We eventually decided to have both knees replaced which we did two weeks apart. He did an excellent job, I've experienced relatively little pain and I'm well on my way to recovery. I think very highly of doctor Adigweme and would easily use him again.

This guy walked in for 5 minutes and looked like he wasn't interested in anything going on with me. After he left the room I had more questions but he was to high and mighty to come back and talk to me so he sent his nurse back to answer my questions. This guy could do better at paying attention to his patients and not acting like we are not important to him.

Dr. Adigweme is nothing short of a miracle worker. After being in awful pain for more than two years and an MRI showing significant damage to my left hip, I was referred to Dr. Adigweme. He performed an anterior total hip replacement at Orlando Regional Medical Center in February. Now almost two months later, I am getting my life back and finally living without pain. Dr. Adigweme has an amazing team as well. A big thank you goes to Sarah and Amanda for being highly responsive with all of my questions and ensuring I was well-prepared for my surgery and recovery. They truly have been with me every step of the way (pun intended). Dr Obi, his PA Ranil are two phenomenal people! At my first initial visit to their office I was greeted with warm friendly smiles by the girl’s upfront (recieptionists) and that eased my anxiety immediately. Dr Obi was caring, attentive and re-assuring about my total knee replacement upcoming surgery. And I cannot say enough abt his care team of Sarah and Paige who were just as valuable and instrumental with setting up my surgery, handling my paperwork and answering any and all questions I had to alleviate any fears I had. Overall this whole team is dynamic, proven, efficient and highly favored! My tkr came out just as I hoped with Dr Obi on March 14th 2022. Excellent Doctor with an excellent Support Staff. I am two weeks post-surgery with a partial knee replacement, and could not be more thrilled with the outcome. I had been putting off surgery for the past few years out of fear, but Doctor Adigweme assured me I would wish I had done it years ago. So far, I am really impressed. His staff is fantastic about correspondence, (by phone and email both), the Doctor and his Physical Assistant are both extremely professional and explained all aspects of the surgery and recovery. I am 6 weeks post surgery and recovery is going well. I was very pleased that my surgery took place in the surgery center and I was able to come home the same day. Dr Adigweme and team have been good to work with and have answered all my questions along the way.

1) building exterior is not pro-patient, handicap access is not easy. 2) Dr was efficient and fairly thorough. He did not watch me walk and stumble. H did not provide 'next step' information. This leaves me having to struggle to resolve what I consider failure of the bilateral knee replacement.

Dr is very good at what he does. His support team(Sarah and others) were very responsive to my phone calls.

I was referred to Dr. Adigweme for a knee revision in October. Just had the surgery and am so pleased with the results. Two weeks in to my recovery I feel like I am two weeks ahead of the replacement surgery. Much less pain and way ahead in mobility. Team Adigweme is fabulous. They make sure you have all the information you need to have a successful experience (surgery and recovery). They are very responsive to any questions or concerns you might have. Dr. Adigweme is an excellent surgeon. I had no problems at all. At visits, he listened and answered questions clearly. (HINT: He really likes football and is more than willing to talk about that!)

Best decision I have ever made. Dr. Obi is a great surgeon I am six weeks out and have very little pain only taking Tylenol and Advil. The office is awesome they get back to me right away if I leave a message with either the regular Desk or Dr. Obi‘s team. He is also a trauma surgeon and my knee post operatively had no bleeding my dressing was always clean. He also uses a new skin closure technique that is called a zipper. This device closes a skin superficially and you have no staples or skin sutures at all. So when the device needs to removed it is totally painless. Came in for a follow up as my bursitis was not getting better. Saw Ranil his PA today and he was very easy to talk to and rediagnosed that it is bursitis. Chose to do cortisone shot and he discussed what the process is and what I should feel. Great bedside manners. I left the office with no pain feeling really great right now.

But the doctor reassured me that my knee would heal. He did determine that I did not need surgery. I had a hip issue, and had gone to another orthopedic and was not happy with the Dr or his approach to my treatment. A sought a second opinion and was very pleased with the office staff, nurse's, and the Doctor himself. They were very professional and courteous. He offered up different treatment options and we came to a consensus for what was right for me and my hip. This is my second time going to Orlando Orthopedic and both times it has been a great experience and beneficial to my current health. Ok I'm here at Doctor Adigwene's ( I call him Dr.OB) office for my 6 week left hip surgery check up. This is my 2nd hip replacement I had my right done 10 years ago. My experience this time was actually a pleasure compared to my 1st go around. I will admit I was hesitant and sceptical about getting it done so I waited till I couldn't take it anymore, but know that you don't have too. The methods and procedures have improved 10 fold and healing time as well. (Last go around it was 6 weeks no weight bearing. Then it was 6 months before things felt right). This time I am fully recovered at 6 weeks and can lift extra weight. The office staff and Dr. OB did an excellent job of explaining everything needed to complete this procedure and I would fully recommend them. Thank you Dr. OB and staff and Orlando Health and all there medical staff for a great experience and job well done changing my quality of life for the Better!!!. (If I sound like you don't hesitate, get it done before you injure something else trying to compensate. I'm extremely lucky it didn't happen to me.!!!!) When I first met Dr. Adigweme I knew I needed both hips replaced. He recommended that I lose a significant amount of weight before he would perform the surgery. He explained that the risk of complications and speed of recovery time would lessen greatly with the weight loss. It took me a while, but I did lose the weight and in January 2021 Dr. Adigweme replaced my right hip. I was able to walk right away with absolutely no pain in that hip. In August 2021 I had my left hip replaced. I now have no pain in my hips for the first time in years. Dr. Adigweme and his team have been so professional and thorough in providing me all the information I needed to prepare for the surgeries. Sarah was available whenever I had a question and she is so competent and extremely pleasant. Dr. Adigweme's skills as a surgeon are superb and life changing. He comes into the office, asks for updates since the last appointment, assesses the situation of the offending joint (my right knee), and asks if I've come in for another steroid injection. I acknowledge I am. He leaves to prepare the syringe. He first uses a numbing agent and then the injection, waits for it to stop bleeding, and covers it with a bandage.

Always professional and he included my daughter in the conversation which we both appreciated. The physical therapy was not easy but it was very successful.

Total Knee replacement. Took old one out that was 20 years old put née one in. Surprised that I have had no problems. Great Doctor

Terrible bedside manner . He did not introduce himself. He went right into asking me questions like he wanted to catch me in my lies. He treated me like I was lying because the XRay was “normal”. I know my body , my hip and my knees have been bothering me . Normal XRay or not , there is something going on . I will try to find another doctor to get a second opinion, do a bone density test etc.

Dr. Adigweme was terrible!!!!! I hate I paid him the co-pay because he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I’m really trying to figure out where these raving reviews are coming from. I specifically searched and according to his ratings he was excellent. NOT!!! He was not in the room with my mom for more than 7 minutes!!! He came in asking us what the issue was and when we proceeded to tell him, he automatically ruled it out but QUICKLY recommended steroids!!!! Are you kidding me? I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. He doesn’t look you in the eyes when you talk and like one of the other reviewers indicated, he acts as if you’re a bother to him. I’m so disappointed! I really didn’t expect the treatment we received, but one thing is for sure, I won’t be going back! I tried to submit with no stars but it made select something, but it wasn’t worth the one star! I had my femur fracture twice and Dr Adigweme and his staff were fantastic in performing the third surgery . I'm back on track now thanks .

Had a total knee replacement and it was a snap! ???? Dr. Adigweme did a great job! I was up and walking very first day! Very glad I had It done. Also proud of of my six inch long, skinny itty bitty scar!!!

Doctor Adigweme was very thoughtful and expedited my surgery the day after I met with him because it was in my best interest. Let me start by saying that I followed Dr. Adigweme from UCF Health and have had two partial knee replacements under his guidance. He clearly articulated all non-surgical techniques prior to my first surgery and his expectation of what kind of results that I would have based on the condition of my knee, age and weight. Once I had the first surgery he remarks to me upon release was to come back to him when I could not do want I wanted to do to complete an active lifestyle. He also responded to my physical therapist sister to defend his decision to do partials in lieu of full replacements.. As you can see by the pictures I have both knees updated with Dr. Adigweme's precise work. The recovery has been quick and I am back to doing the things I want to do including some I don't like cutting the grass. I highly recommend Dr. Obi and would not go anywhere else and would follow him if he ever moved. It's hard to believe but my knee replacement was totally pain free. I had some tightness in the knee but no pain. I was up and walking the 1st. day.

This was the first time I have seen this doctor, so maybe I need to get used to him. When I made the initial appointment, I asked to be given a doctor with a good bedside manner. This doctor certainly doesn’t have one. He was not at all friendly. Maybe it was me. We both had masks on. I think clinically he is good and I will keep seeing him as needed.

The last time I went to him it was not a good experience, and I won't be going back to him. I was told to come in for my quarterly knee injection, took off work to do this and paid my usual $75 copay. When he came in the room, he refused to give me the shot, saying he wanted to inject me with something else that includes my own blood where it's sent off and they turn it into a gel, and the cost is around $600. They also refused to refund the $75 for his 1 minute speech, so I left and never went back. I found another place up the road where I now get my shots. I was very disappointed with the care I received from Dr Adigweme. I called the Physician Team Manager Jessica to discuss my concerns directly, but have not received a return phone call. My family has been a patient with the Orlando Orthopedic group for almost 10 years. Every other doctor we have encountered, over the years, in the practice has been incredibly compassionate, took their time to fully understand our issue, educated us on what was injured, provided a detailed treatment plan and made us feel truly cared for. Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Adigweme was not like that. I left feeling uninformed, not sure when or how to take medications discussed and as if it was a bother I was there. I will 100% recommend Dr Adigweme and his staff. Everyone is great!

He replaced my knee 1 year ago.. It changed my life. No more pain. Back to regular activities quickly. Highly recommend!

My son used Dr. Adigweme for a broken arm. He was well taken care of by the dr & his staff. An excellent repair done to the arm with no pain afterwards.

This place was awesome. Need hip replacement but Dr. Adigweme suggested therapy first before we proceeded with surgery. Staff was awesome and couldn’t be more confident that I’m in good hands. Dr. A is the bomb.
