Olga Gaftanyuk

My family absolutely loves Dr. Gaftanyuk. We have been patients of hers for over 3 years and she has helped me and my father tremendously. Her office staff is profession, caring and efficient. I look forward to our appointments with her. She is caring and compassionate to my father who has dementia. I highly recommend her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gaftanyuk for over 8 years. Over those years changes involving my mental and physical health have changed; she has always properly adjusted with me to make my care plan the best possible one for my personal situation and needs. She also has been very understanding and supportive regardless of my particular situation and in doing so continues to properly diagnose and treat me. It is extremely important for me to have a cohesive and supportive care team and she continues to be a key player in the team of doctors I am seen by. I am very grateful I get the opportunity of having her as my psychiatrist

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR….. My girlfriend was going to Olga and she did not help at all. When I asked her with my girlfriend's permission to speak to her to let her know what was going on, she refused and said she was out of time. I told her my girlfriend was experiencing feelings like falling apart thinking she is going to explode and someone is trying to kill her. She is close to being driven out of her mind. Etc. etc. and Dr. Gaftanyuk just sent her home and only saw her every 3 months. I was begging her to help her and that she did not know what was going on. Please, Please "Do Not" go to this doctor. Dr. Olga is a caring person who is a great listener. She trusts me when I tell her my problems and does her best to help you. I will continue to see her for as long as possible.

I love this doctor. She is the best I have been to. She listens and is genuinely caring. I would recommend her! I have been seeing her for 3 years now!

Dr. Olga and her staff are really friendly and helpful. Easy to get emerg meds & explanation of conditions. Over the past 3 years she has helped me be more med compliant, approved my ADA reqs, helped me get stable - I wouldn't be working right now if it weren't for her. The only issue I have is how hard it is to get an appointment on short notice. They're good about wait list, but there are times I go to my PCP for med problems bc I can't wait 2 weeks to see her.

I have been seeing Dr Olga since right before she started her own practice. I have referred a friend and also my Mother to see her. She is caring, comforting, knowledgeable and open to trying something unconventional if it works on helping her patients. I highly recommend her.

Olga is has a calm and caring demeanor, though I think she is rather disorganized. I'm on lithium for bipolar, and the recommended frequency for doing blood work is every 3 months. Olga said that once a year is enough. When 1 year passed and I got blood work done, when I visited her office she couldn't find it. I don't want to continue seeing her because she while she tells me I can be lax about doing blood work, she can't even find the results when I actually had it done.
