Dr. Omar Saleem

Dr. Saleem and his team are the ultimate professionals. I was a nervous leading up to the day of my surgery; However, the day of my surgery the team from inception, Anesthesiogy, to the Nurses pre and post surgery had me at complete ease with my trust in their capabilites. He is patient, and answers whatever concerns you may have, nothing seems too trivial to ask. I hold Dr. Saleem in the highest regard and recommend him to anyone requiring Orthopedic surgery.

Dr Saleen did major reconstructive surgery to repair torn ligaments to my right foot. I have no more pain. His bedside manner is awesome as well as his skills. I would definitely recommend him. He is a blessing.

I have been seeing Dr Saleem since 2018 for stress fractures. He truly cares about his patients and has a great bedside manner. He explores all avenues before suggesting any type of surgery. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

I was sent to Dr Saleem from Urgent Care with unbearable shoulder pain, he was kind, compassionate and eased my pain almost immediately. He gave me options on how to proceed without being pushy or rushing me out. I'm going back.... Highly recommended!!!

Dr. Saleem is a really great doctor. He performed ankle surgery on my daughter. We had received various opinions beforehand and chose him from our review. He answered all questions, is very knowledgeable, and has a lot of experience with treating ankle injuries. He is super nice and responsive to any concern. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Saleem is amazing and I find he helped with a lot of my issues. As for the rest of the staff, where do I even begin. First off, my first appointment in this facility I arrived on time and ended up waiting over an hour and a half to be seen. On top of this, following up I Scheduled all the tests I had to get in order to be re seen by Dr.Saleem. My MRI was denied due to a miscommunication between many people and I tried reaching out to the office many times where I received no help. It turned to the point where the doctors office I was going to get surgery through, began ignoring my phone number. I know this because I called on my phone and no one answered and I then called immediately on my sisters phone and they picked up right away. I am honestly just disgusted by this and hope the doctor knows how horrible his staff truly is. Dr. Saleem is amazing and I find he helped with a lot of my issues. I don't normally post reviews online, but Dr. Saleem is a rare breed. An exceptional doctor, surgeon and communicator, he is hands down the best orthopedist I have have encountered. His style, knowledge and skill put me and others at ease and when talking to people about surgery, I have yet to meet someone speak an ill word or talk about a bad experience or outcome.He speaks to you like a real person, explains things matter of factly and outcomes are more than i could ask for. Dr. Saleem is very kind and compassionate and explains everything to you with regards to your injury. Truly a doctor that I trust with my health!

Dr . Saleem was assigned to my case upon arriving to the emergency room at Winthrop Hospital. I went in not knowing a thing!!Dr . Omar Salim was assigned to my case. He was such a blessing in my life ! He fixed my very broken ankle He was there all along the way to guide me onto the next steps that were proper to help me rebuild myself.I was scared and unsure.He put me at ease and helped to make a very difficult situation a bit doable. I recommend him highly!

I Had a weberC fracture of my ankle and torn MCL - After my treatment in the ER, they asked that I follow up with Dr. Saleem in a week. After our first visit, he was able to get in into surgery the next day. Every milestone he gave me was right on point. He is very friendly and remembers patients conversions, he responded to every email or phone call. Highly recommends this Dr. Saleem.

My Achilles was ruptured during tennis. Doctor Saleem did surgery next day and repaired it. I had very minimal pain and back to normal almost a month ahead of time. Very friendly and comforting.

Dr.Saleem has been helping my husband with a serious fracture to his tibula fibula endured in the summer of 2020. As a surgeon he is not only well versed in his field but he is courteous, compassionate and has incredible interpersonal skills. We were so lucky to have found him to take care of my husband during this most painful and upsetting injury; we would be lost without him and recommend him highly to everyone we know.

Dr. Saleem is an amazing doctor and a great person. He always takes time to hear and my issues and addresses all complaints. He has an excellent bedside manner and explains the “game-plan” in layperson terms. Whenever I am in pain he makes room in his schedule, an all-around Ace, I recommend him with no reservations

I was extremely dissatisfied with my visit to Dr. Omar Saleem. It is not unusual to have to wait to be seen by a doctor, but this was by far, the longest I've ever had to wait. When Dr. Saleem finally came in to see me, he did not even introduce himself. On top of that, he had a nasty attitude, was extremely impatient, showed me no respect as a patient, was pompous, arrogant, and inconsiderate. When he left the examination room, he didn't even have the decency to tell me that he was finished with me, and I had to ask a nurse if he was done seeing me. This was by far, the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. I would not recommend Dr Omar Saleem to anyone.

Dr.Saleem literally change my life. I had many major surgeries on a compound fracture of my lower tibia and fibula that effected my ankle . None of them helped me at all. Dr. Saleem knew exactly what needed to be done the right way. He performed the surgery and at first I thought it may be another failure and I will live the rest of my life in severe pain. After about 1 year I was feeling almost like nothing ever happened. Nearly no pain at all. I am hoping the doctor see this review because this is not just a review it is a thank you. I’m so glad gave dr. Saleem the opportunity to try to heal me because I was prepared for fusion or amputation.

Could not get an appointment for my daughter with Dr. Saleem. Had to speak with Dr. Saleem's "New Patient" coordinator to arrange an appointment. After calling twice on a Monday and leaving two messages for Dr. Saleem's coordinator (she never called me back), I spoke with an office receptionist who said that "Mondays are very busy but you will get a return call to set up an appointment." On Tuesday I still had not heard back so I called a third time and still had to leave a message requesting an appointment for my daughter!! A WEEK LATER STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM DR. SALEEM'S OFFICE. Forget about these doctors at this practice. If this is the state of medical care in the USA today, we are all in trouble. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT - - - GO ELSEWHERE !

Dr Omar saleem saved my ankle after a nightmare of multiple surgeries from another surgeon that butchered my leg.i highly recommend dr saleem he’s very caring and compassionate and extremely capable

Dr. Saleem saved my leg, I was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident in July of 2017. I had multiple breaks of my left forearm and left leg Dr. Saleem repaired both of them. I then developed a serve infection in my leg when i was in rehab again Dr. Saleem and the plastic surgeons at NUMC saved my leg from amputation. I would recommend Dr. Saleem he is a caring and skillful doctor. thank you Doc

The man is a genious!!!!!! Awesome awesome awesome awesome doctor. I was involved in a serious car accident I required emergency surgery. I was so lucky that he was my surgeon I had a grossly open wound to my knee and pretty extensive damage. This man saved my knee and I was out of bed and walking within a few days. I thank him every time I see him. I would insist my closest family members to seek this DR. He helped me with the pain he also helped me with dr notes for work. 5 stars should be 10

Outstanding in every way! He's down to earth... is EXTREMELY knowledgeable... and gives his patients all the time they need. Quite a combination. Two of my sons have used him. Highest possible recommendation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Saleem since 2014, with my first injury to my right ankle and foot. Due to his excellent care, when I slip and fractured my right ankle in 2015 and again in 2016 I sought out Dr. Saleem and with his medical assistance and the physical therapy I am able to walk with my weak right ankle without a cane. In addition I referred him to two of my co-workers who also consider him as their Orthopedist.

Truly a quality doctor that makes you feel secure in his abilities. I have had to deal with Dr. Saleem twice and he is a complete professional from his bedside manner to the way he cares for his patients. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

I was in a bad car accident a year ago, broke my hip and right ankle. Dr Saleem preform surgery on my hip and ankle and I am proud to say that I am running long distances without any pain. His care is exceptional along with his bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Your the best Dr Saleem!

I have been a patient of Dr. Saleem's for about 3 years. Dr. Saleem has performed surgery on both ankles. Thanks to Dr. Saleem my ankles are stable and I no longer fear that a misstep will cause me to fall. Made appointment on phone call.They booked it right away.when i got there the dr walked in and said i dont take insurance u have. managed so hard to get there since i broke my ankle and i was already in rehab . Had to go for followup checkup to this dr and i was reffered by the hospital at time of discharge. Dr omar saleem he is such a rude and heartless man . He asked his assistant to remove cast that i had on ankle and asked me to go to hospital to put it back. Never ever consult this doctor

Great doctor! Takes his time with you, makes sure you understand everything, very thorough on follow up visits, great bedside manner, you never feel rushed. I would definitely recommend him for any type of ankle issue you may have!

Dr. Saleem is a skilled ortho surgeon. He is the best doc for complex multiple ankle fractures. His demeanor is of the highest caliber. So yo sum it up, if you are in need of surgery, you are in good hands.
