EXCELLENT Doctor! Very knowledgeable, patiently explains current situation and next steps, kind manner, returns calls and works us into his schedule for time sensitive health concerns. WE LOVE DR. VAHDAT!!

When my husband retired, he had to find a new cardiologist, and we're so happy we found Dr. Vahdat. He's thorough, patient, available, and extremely kind. His office staff is extremely efficient. My husband has several doctors he sees, and Dr. Vahdat is by far the best.

I first encountered Dr. Vahdat at Long Beach Memorial hospital. I saw him for the next two years while I lived in the area. From the moment he started to care for me in the hospital I could tell that he sincerely cared about his patients and was empathetic to them and what they were going through. He is very thorough as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vahdat to anyone who needs a cardiologist. I have been diagnosed with Atrial Septum Aneurysm and was told by the Dr to come back to his office in two weeks so he can check on the size and start me on the correct treatment of blood thinners. I made the appointment, it was for a Saturday, Dr. Said that was a great day to do what he needed to. Get to the office and was told Dr. Vahdat wasn't there and I wasn't on the schedule. I have the card with the appointment?, so again I left the office just like two weeks ago, feeling very uneasy about my health. This previously happen at his office with a regular appointment once before. The front office is very incompetent, and Dr. Vahdat is loosing credibility due to it. I'm sure he is a great Dr. , however this is not acceptable.

Dr. V saved my life. I have one more procedure. May God bless this man so that he may help save others.

This review is long overdue and If I can put 1 Million Stars, I would!!! Dr. Omid Vahdat is Heaven-sent to my husband and my family. He is one of the reasons why my husband Frank is still with us- a walking miracle in my very own eyes. Dr. Vahdat has been my husband's Cardiologist since the early 2000s. All these years, he dutifully takes care of him and has consistently been very proactive as his Interventional Cardiologist. In 2015 my husbands's heart (among his other health issues) began to decline. My children and I with our Faith in God trusted Dr. Vahdat on his recommendation. He referred us to UCLA Cardiomyopathy Dept. not for an immediate transplant but to build a relationship to prepare for any unforeseen emergency. My husband was officially listed last year and while waiting, Dr. Vahdat was there, keeping up with our progress. Fast forward 2018 I am so happy to share that my husband received his gift- a second chance in life. He celebrated his birthday recently. And yes, Dr. Vahdat is still our local Cardiologist. Thank you Dr. Vahdat for all that you do. Your Caring, Compassionate Heart and Immeasurable Wisdom make us appreciate the Gift of Life. May God continuously bless the work of your hands. Both of my parents have been patients of Dr Vahdat for 9 years and they absolutely love him! They continue to rave about his caring nature, thorough communication and proactive care coordination. Without going into too much detail, he has saved both of my parents from life-threatening events over the years. Dr Vahdat is a compassionate cardiologist who has continued to provide premier care. He has been my physician for the past three years. I think he is fantastic. Takes all the time to explain test results, what is going on, etc. Has a very good bedside manner so to speak. I never feel rushed and I have the upmost confidence in him. Highly recommended.

I would recommend Dr. Vahdat to anyone, without reservations. If you are in need of a cardiologist, you would do well to see Dr. Vahdat. Office staff can be less than fabulous, but I urge one to persist, and get past that to see the Dr.. How good is he? I have trusted him with my life.....Twice.

Terrible dr. it's all about the money.I ran out of my high blood pressure medication and he would not refill it until i came in to see him. I made an appt. but I was still going to have to wait. What kind of Dr. does that? It's called medical blackmail.

Dr. Vahdat has been my cardiologist for five years. I credit him with saving my life. He is highly skilled and and extremely kind. I can contact him any time night and day with any health concern. I give him my highest recommendation!
