Dr. O is always willing to listen and help solve any problem. I was hospitalized for weeks with Covid, was transferred to another hospital and he still contacted the family and the doctors caring for me. When I was returned to Lake Wales he continued with the other Doctors with excellent care.

Great doctor but horrible office staff! Got hung up on because the receptionist was wrong. I scheduled an appointment for today and she said it wasn’t today after I took the day off from work for an appointment. Finds out I was right and she didn’t like that..will be finding a new and friendlier office.

Dr.Oropeza is a great a doctor but has lousy office staff. The office staff confirmed my appointment but come to find out after taking half a day off work and driving 30 minutes to the office that they don't accept my insurance and that last time was a mistake so I wouldn't be able to be seen that day.

Dr. Oropeza is a great doctor I really like him his staff however are about the worst I have ever experienced they have told me and called in prescriptions that were never called in on several occasions have lied to me have failed to do their job have even listed me as a female with a major depression disorder on my medical papers which none is true I am going to have to leave his office and find another doctor so sorry I really like the doctor his staff is horrible though. It seems they dont have a clue sometimes, and have definatly lied to me on the phone, i caught em 3 times. So sad. Dr. Orapeza i wish you could continure to be my dr. Your staff has prevented it though. I have ran out of meds, lied to about the call in 3 different times in the same day. And still my meds, i am disabled and in need of my meds. Went to appointment on Tuesday, saw Dr and ordered insulin. The insulin was supposed to be at Walgreens but Walgreens had no record of order. I callied Dr office to see if it was sent, and was told it was. After waiting 45 min nothing at Walgreens. I then went to Dr office and got prescription to take to Walgreens. After waiting about 15 more min I was told they did not have full order. i then went home, it was 5:30 Three and one half hours after Dr visit. My wife found my insulin at Walmart Thursday evening.. I had also asked for needles to be ordered. They were not. I had to buy box of 50 for 10 dollars.. I like Dr Oropeza, but his staff will not answer phones or return phone calls. I called today to ask about maybe using wife’s insulin pens that she is not using, and was told that Dr would return phone, but I don’t think he was even told of my call. Dr. Orapeza is an excellent doctor. He does listen to his patients. However, he has a lousy staff who does not return phone calls whether it's you leaving a message or your pharmacy leaving a message. His business would probably thrive if he had a more knowledgeable and concerned staff.

Dr. Oropeza is the best Doctor ever. My whole family and friends are his patients. We have never had any miss diagnoses as with many others we have been to. We recommended friends, that are in their 60's. They had moved from Lakeland to Winter Haven and they said that they have never had a better doctor.

Forget the BS 5-star reviews that were either paid for or posted as a favor. Dr. Oropeza wasn't the brightest bulb several years ago, but he at least showed some concern. Now, he's just incompetent & doesn't know how to properly run his office. Acting upbeat & feigning concern with patients is not what counts, proof is in the pudding. Actual medical care, knowledge & service is SEVERELY lacking. Find another doctor, trust me. My list of severe errors & grievances is too long for this post. After wife's CHF, AFIB, complications and Oropeza nurse calling me in the emergency room telling me that " Doctor Oropeza is NOT her Doctor" Our "FAMILY" DR. and his wife Dr. Solorzano of over 22 years of routine care, so we thought! My wife and I leave with a heavy heart and extreme dissapointment in a Doctor we thought was our Primary Physician. Has been my doctor for years and always is there in emergencies and very knowledgeable on my medical needs!

Very personable but is not thorough in his exams, follow ups, diagnosis, etc. States requests were made to insurance co for a cardiologist however, insurance company states no requests made. Two admissions to the hospital and a cardiologist was still not requested. Finally decided to change doctors.

My parents are patients of Dr. Oropeza and it has been less than pleasant dealing with his office. Simple things like ordering oxygen prescriptions and machines take weeks and weeks and noone ever seems to answer the phones at the office. You always have to leave messages that rarely if ever get returned.

This wonderful Doctor saved my life. I was feeling really badly and he took one look and me and knew exactly what to do. We are very blessed to have Dr. Oropeza in our life.

I have been a patient of Dr. Oropeza's for many years. Came from Maryland, saw his name in the phone book and have been with him since. My only complaint is not enough time given concernining my individual problems. It is very distressing to be unable to get a final conclusion to any ongoing condition. One would be lack of energy. Dr. Oropeza has been a wonderful doctor and I don't know what I would do without him. I have three relatives and a friend going to see him and they all like him.
