Mr. Otakar Quadrat

Recently was released from Halifax after getting a heart cast with stints put in by Quadrat. After getting home & settled, I was going through my paperwork & realized that I needed to make an appointment with the Dr. that did the procedure so I called the office to do so. During the call, the lady stated that they are refusing to see me & refused to provide a reasoning. Very confused, when asking why & to remind her that my paperwork said Quadrat was the one that did the procedure & I have a few concerns as I have symptoms of fatigue & fever 2 weeks afterwards. Her response verbatim was "there is no law stating that I have to provide you with a reason why we are refusing to see you & I suggest that you call a different cardiologist." Then hung up. This is the professionalism being performed at this practice? I'm baffled & very disappointed that I cannot get any help or answers from the one that did the procedure at Halifax. I would certainly NOT recommend this place of business if this is how they treat their patients.

My visits with Dr. Quadrat have always been very nice. He takes time to answer your questions and any concerns you may have. The office staff is great! They are helpful and respectful. I have been a patience since December 2019, and I feel comfortable with the help I receive.

Him and his office staff are callous and heartless(the irony) human beings who care about one thing, your wallet.

Was sent certified letter from him stating I was being discharged from his care. Received letter one week after getting telephone call from his office. During call, I was told if I did not see him within 30 days I would be discharged from his care. I explained I was afraid to come inside a hospital facility during pandemic because I am high risk and was trying to wait until the risk lessened. Nonetheless, I was discharged because I didn’t book appointment as ordered. I had been seeing him for 4 years and never missed an appointment prior to pandemic. Very sad that medicine has come to this.

He is my new cardiologist here in Daytona Beach. He is thoughtful, extremely intelligent, is very very caring for his patients, and shows that he is more than capable of getting to the root of the problem. He and his staff are very attentive and informed on medical conditions. The professionalism that he and his staff possess is remarkable. All I can say is that I have NO problem in leaving my life in his hands! I am a past stroke victim and he assesses my prior conditions perfectly! Strongly recommend!

This is the worst cardiologist that I had ever been in contact with, he is by far worse than Doctor seide. His staff shows no concern whatsoever to the patients. Two appointments canceled from Dr Quadra , I haven’t seen this cardiologist in over three months and he knowing that I have a heart fibrillating problem. The lack of concern is beyond my belief. I strongly suggest if you’re looking for a cardiologist look a little further than Dr Quadra. There was one individual that I will highly recommend to anyone would hire issues, and that would be Dr Rosenthal from Saint Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida his staff is beyond belief caring concerning and sharing their concerns with their patients. Only reason why I am not still with Dr Rosenthal is because I now reside in Palm Coast Florida. GREAT! Great Dr. I recommend Dr. Quadrant, although, he’s not a Benfica fan I won’t hold it against him...

Very professional, knowledgeable, attentive to detail and caring. Very nice dr. Office ran like clockwork. His Nurse Practioner was excellent as all his nurses.

This doctor has no heart! Nasty, rude, arrogant Sent me for expensive testing before even speaking with me. Never called with results.

Dr. Quadrat is a wonderful Cardiologist. His nurse Jen is the best. The Doctor is a no nonsense straight arrow type of guy. He knows his business. Thank you to his office. Carol Rohm

I have been a patient of Dr Quadrat for five years. I find he listens and communicates very well. He has treated my heart issues and refers the patient to other cardiologists when necessary. His nurse is friendly and returns phone calls ASAP. The other office staff are very efficient. Five stars!

Dr. Quadrat is caring, pays attention to your issues and considers your person and lifestyle when evaluating your healthcare needs. He improved my health and changed my life. His staff knows his patients and quickly responds to your calls.

I found Dr. Quadrat very narrow minded and threatened by another doctor's opinion as to why a certain drug he put me on should be discontinued. I also felt he had little respect for a retired nurses participation in her own care, and concerns..

I would be very careful. When i asked the dr for an itemized bill they didn;t give me one.So i went to state att office and the result was he end our relationship. And that is his right. but also with that said I wounder if they take an oath in the czek republic to put the patient first and I guess they dont so take that into your choice of dr And dont forget when you have a heart attc you have no choice in your dr and I thought he was a good guy. dam shame

Have a Heart? Go see Dr. Quadrat. If anyone can keep it ticking he can. Besides good surgery he has a terrific positve attitude and believe me it comes in handy when you're lying on the operating table. His entire staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this doctor!
