Dr. Patel’s main interest is in lifestyle change to help individuals live healthy. She promotes whole food plant based eating, exercise and meditation/relaxation to prevent and/or reverse heart disease, diabetes and other acquired illness caused by the SAD and lifestyle. I’m glad she is here to help promote that. She is not a practitioner of integrative medicine, though. For me, she has not followed through when I’ve had issues and she doesn’t see the empirical evidence provided by blood work and/or x-rays. The symptoms a person experiences doesn’t trigger a deeper response from her, unfortunately. I do feel that if she had pushed further last year before I had a heart attack by referring me to a cardiologist, I would not have had the heart attack. I would still have had to get the stents, but had I had an echocardiogram and stress test, it would have revealed the severe blockages weeks before the heart attack. I like her. Nice person. Her diagnostic skills are lacking in my opinion

Not happy with the diagnosis. I was asked to take X-rays and diagnosed as nothing wrong. But I still have pain on the top side of the left pelvis. Me and my wife finally ended up responsible for $3400 for basic blood tests and X-rays. Not happy.

Dr. Patel is great, her office staff is very kind and efficient. She helped me make some lifestyle changes and I was able to stop using some of my medications.

I am impressed with her diagnostic skills and patience. She helped me get off my medications by changing my diet and lifestyle. We need more physicians like her!
