I had an incredibly satisfactory experience during my two cataract procedures with Dr. Parekh, his medical staff, nurses, and the administrative staff at the Geisinger Gray's Wood Clinic on January 10th and 24th, 2023. They were WONDERFUL! Everyone went out of his, or her, way to ensure all my needs were met before, during, and after each procedure. Every "step" of the cataract procedure was thoroughly explained, by each medical person who visited me prior to the actual operation being done, while I was "prepped" and waiting for "my turn" in the operating room. All my questions were quickly and politely answered. I could not have been better taken care of had I been an actual "family member" of Dr, Parekh, or anyone on his medical team! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID AND PROVIDED FOR ME! It is greatly appreciated! I will always recommend your clinic and staff to anyone who asks me about the quality of your work and commitment to the well-being of your patients.

On my first visit at Windmere, Dr. Parekh put me at ease about my cataract surgery. We had a very good conversation about what I could expect and what the dangers were, as with any surgery. He answered my questions completely. On my surgery days he presented competency and care. I now have vision that, except for readers, does not have to rely on corrective lenses. I have been wearing glasses since I was in 2nd grade. No more! Thank you Dr. Parekh!

Well planned and executed. Very caring and supportive staff. Problem-free recuperation as expected/predicted by Dr. Parech .Excellent/precise logarithm utilized to achieve optimal clarity of vision.

From the first consultation with Dr. Parekh and his staff until the final surgery my experience has been great. Dr. Parekh took the time to explain everything to me in a way I understood, gave all my options and helped me make the best decision for my case. After surgery, and recovery vision in is amazing. I was very happy and satisfied with my care for my cataract surgery.

I DO NOT recommend this doctor under any circumstance. He has great credentials but also has issues that are many and complex. He answered the phone while doing surgery two days ago and theN followed up with calling me back at 7:30 AM today and said he would not be able to see me until the end of Oct and then would not be able to operate to remove my cataracts until around Christmas. Secondly, he said since I had seen him four times to check on the development of my cataracts and each time he told me they were not ready, I should see another doctor for a second opinion and find a better fit to have my cataracts removed. i now find out that he has had several disputes with others who thought he was their doctor. This man is a total jerk and not professional in any way. I am elderly now and have never been treated this way by a doctor in my seventy plus years, so stay away unless you want to be falsely led on and then told to go elsewhere.

Dr Parekh provided a clear description of my eye conditions involving cataracts with glaucoma . He invited questions with understandable answers. He is uplifting and encouraging providing an aura of confident expectations. His team is perfect in the seamless attention they provide from beginning to end. The professional care and individual attention is truly heartfelt in my experience. After having the brightest and clearest 20/20 vision results for the first surgery coupled with the exceptional staffs attention I greatly looked forward to the second eye surgery. I am very thankful and blessed to , for the first time , be able to read the bottom line of every eye chart shown to me. The entire team treated me as a special patient but now I see they are the special people for sure.

Dr Parekh and his staff were professional, efficient and WONDERFUL!!! Every question I had prior to surgery was answered; the staff was professional, friendly, and considerate; the surgery was easy with perfect results. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Parekh and his staff for any eye concerns that you might have. I had prior experience out in Arizona, and Dr Parekh resolved my issue with outstanding results.

It was wonderful..the staff was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. They answered all my questions and the surgeries went well. I had no pain or problems after and best of all I could see with no corrective lenses for the first time in over 50 years!

Dr Parekh and staff are very kind, patience and knowledgeable. He was able to give me 20/20 vision with cataract surgery after I had mono LASIK surgery 8 years ago.

I had both eyes done. Very happy with the results, my vision is great and night driving is excellent. I also liked the fact that I would only need to use one eye drop and my local eye doctor does the checkups after surgery. I will recommend Dr. Perech to anyone needing cataract surgery.

EXCELLENT , had concerns for left eye for I am blind in right eye. Very little perifferal vision. Surgery was successful... I can see"clearly now" Would and have already recommended Dr. Parekh...

I had cataract surgery and lens implants with Dr. Parekh. He is wonderful! I have very bad myopia, and for the first time in 57 years, I no longer wear contact lens or eye glasses. He inserted lens that correct my severe myopia, plus include a bifocal. I am ecstatic!

I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Parekh. My experience with Dr. Parekh and his team was fantastic, from the moment Loren introduced herself, to my surgery and follow-up appointments. Dr. Parekh explained the procedure he would be doing and eased any anxiety I had regarding the surgery. He is very compassionate as well as an excellent Dr. His staff, Loren and Ashley, are amazing! Loren also eased all my concerns and added a personal touch to my surgery and subsequent visits.

The best there is in the field

Dr. Parekh and his team were thorough, professional and provided exceptional advice and care. Everything from the first appointment through scheduling and surgery was well organized and easy for the patient. In addition, clear post-surgery instructions were provided along with everything you would need as you left surgery. You even receive a personal call the night after surgery. I highly recommend them and am extremely grateful for their personalized care.

My experience with the team and Dr. Parekh was wonderful they were very kind and the Dr. was om time and made sure that I knew I could call for anything. The nurses were very kind and explained what was being done, and why . would refer anyone to this Dr.

The entire experience from the initial consultation with him and the actual surgeries as well as through the follow up with my Optometrist at Nittany Eye in State College could not have been better. Start to finish, excellent experience with cataract surgery. Options for lenses were discussed. Procedures were explained. At my first visit a time line that worked around my schedule was established including all follow up appointments. As a result I approached the surgery with the confidence that everything would go well, and it did. I chose mono vision lenses and my vision is terrific. A professional, stress free experience with easy recovery. Great staff and Dr. Parekh has a sense of humor.

I have a wonderful first experience and look forward to my second experience with cataract surgery in a week. The process of evaluation and then surgery went very well and consistent with everything that I was told to expect. I found Dr. Parekh to be direct, to the point, and very willing to answer my questions about the procedure and what to expect post surgery. He was on point in his responses and I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

Dr. Parekh not only invited my questions, but he answered them thoroughly and thoughtfully. He conveys confidence to his patients both before and on the day of surgery. Dr. Parekh was very professional and caring. His attention to detail and my concerns was very reassuring to me. He took time with me and went over options and answered all my questions. I really appreciated that and also that if anything came up I would be able to reach him or someone from the office. Dr. Parekh and staff, including NEA staff are out of this world good at what they do. Dr. Parekh is an excellent surgeon and staff is very skilled. I wouldn't let anybody else touch my eyes. Thanks!!! if you need what they have, you are lucky to be in such good hands!

At first, I found his gung-ho "we can do anything you want" attitude off-putting and I was distrustful, but the surgery itself was completely smooth and painless, and the results have been marvelous. I strongly recommend him as a surgeon.

The whole experience was excellent. My vision is terrific.
