Worst experience with a doctor I’ve ever had. Basically didn’t believe me even though I had literal test results from the hospital right in front of his face. Told me he basically wasn’t going to do anything unless my bowel perforates. So that’s just super, can’t wait for that to happen. He spent maybe 5 minutes at most with me. Based off of the other comments and reviews on here, if you’re a young woman, he’s going to treat you like you don’t have anything wrong with you and there are better things he could be doing with his time than wasting it on you. The nursing staff on the 2nd floor are the best the whole staff patient that was in 239 in 2019 and 238 in 2021 I love SFB Dr Spehar is the best

He saw me for 5 mins maybe and he acted like it was no big deal my doctor referred me to him . Didn’t even ask my name . Had scar tissue or something his words not mine . And there was maybe a surgery I could have in 2 months . No clarity or caring . I’m getting 2nd opinion . 128.00 dollars for nothing

Fantastic outpatient surgery with Dr. Spehar.

Dr. Pascal was very professional and explained in detail the procedure I would be undergoing and answered all of my questions.

My experience was very informal Dr Speharwas very informative on my condition and the steps needed to correct the problem

Great Dr. , very friendly explained how he was going to remove a tube etc. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Spehar is a rare combination of surgical skill and bedside manner. He brought my husband through a complicated surgery involving a small bowel obstruction and adhesions. If there was a way I could leave a half of star, I would . Dr. Spehar was a followup appointment after my daughter went to the emergency room for a Pilonidal Cyst. We were there for only 5 minutes, and he sent us a bill for $185. Less than five minutes and my daughter was told she doesn't need surgery. That was wonderful but to bill us for $185 is an outrage. If you go to the emergency room for any reason and the Doctor there refers you to Dr. Spehar, find another surgeon. $185 for less than 5 minutes is not only taking advantage of a patient but also robbing the insurance company. I'm filing a complaint with Cigna and Better Business Bureau. The fee for 5 minutes should have been significantly less. Cigna needs to get their portion back from the doctor. Dr. Spehar was a follow-up to an emergency room visit for a Pilonidal Cyst. He saw my 18 year old daughter for less than 5 minutes and I received a bill for $185. Cigna paid $74.29 and I'm responsible for the other portion. I would be very cautious about seeing him. I was pleased to know that my daughter didn't require surgery but $185 for less than 5 minutes is a complete outrage. I will be in touch with the BBB of Missouri and possibly Florida, since he decide to leave the state.

Dr Spehar romed my Gall bladder and left a Gallstone behind ended up with sever Pancreatitis. When I went back to the e room 8 days later with sever pain he saw me in the room and suggested to sit on it for a few days HIS WORDS not mine. Good thing my Gastro DR intervened and went back in removed the stone and installed a stent or I would not be here to write this Dr Spehar romed my Gall bladder and left a Gallstone behind ended up with sever Pancreatitis. Fine surgeon, worked with him in the OR several years ago. Gentle technique, qiuck worker, doesn't muck about, trust him implicitly. When I needed my gallbladder out, he was the go-to guy for a good result. Still is. Great trauma surgeon too. Absolutely gold standard all the way in the OR.
