Best periodontist in NYC- Sandy is gentle, but incredibly thorough. The office is beautiful and clean, and today they had a small fire going on the fireplace. The receptionist helped me with obtaining my xrays from another dental office when I couldn't figure out how to fill out the form on my cell. And Dr Malpesomakes great suggestions regarding dental care.

I've been a patient of Dr Malpeso for over 25 years. Today Dr Malpeso placed two implants in my upper right quadrant. This was a remarkably quick and painless procedure, thanks to Dr Malpeso's extensive experience with complex cases--my case is complex. Several hours later, there is a barely noticeable rawness in the gums, but no bleeding and no pain. This post-operative experience is typical. The staff is professional, friendly, and seems to tolerate my jokes. Dr Malpeso's practice is great and runs like a machine, so much so that I look forward to my appointments--and even to surgery! UPDATE: Twenty-five years after I had my bite reconstructed, it was time to redo the bottom arch. The result is functionally perfect and the aesthetics are beyond excellent.

Whether it is a routine filling or a crown, a bridge or an implant, or periodontal work, he has always provided me with excellent service. Dr Malpeso is amazing specialist with superb credentials. He handled exceptionally well complicated surgery on my jaw, removal of bad tooth, installation of two implants and a bridge. He is a dentist who can handle wide array of challenging procedures and use state-of-the art equipment in his clinic. For instance, several dentists all over the city can't identify problem with my infected tooth because on regular X-ray it can't be seen. With 3D X-ray device installed in his clinic the culprit has been identified by Dr Malpeso instantly. The regular teeth cleaning procedure, meticulously performed, can be expanded to include additional gum treatment with a laser, contributing to healthier gums. After seeing the results of Dr Malpeso work (and he fixed numerous problems with at least 8 of my teeth) I think he is doing his job like a Michelangelo rather than dentist. I should also mention lovely, polite and and friendly staff working under his leadership, ambiance of the place that looks like five star reception at the hotel. Dr Malpeso always showing benevolence and good humor. On this site I can only rate him with five stars, but I believe he and his team deserves at least ten. He is the best! I have never received a level of service as high as I received from Dr. Malpeso's office. It is a pleasure to visit his dental practice – which I think says a lot in and of itself!

I'm not quite sure who to blame. I was trying to obtain an orthodontist that was both a Medicare participant and would cover a sleep apnea oral application device. Dr. Pasquale Malpeso's name was given to me by the Medicare representative. I called the receptionist and explained to her what I wanted done and I was given the impression that everything was covered. All forms were filled on line and not once was there any indication that there would be any issues regarding coverage. During the day of the appointment I commuted into Manhattan from the north western part of the Bronx only to be told by the dentist that the procedure wasn't covered by Medicare. What a disappointment and complete waist of time all because of non existent communication between Medicare, the provider and a poorly informed receptionist. I've just about given up on looking for the device which I was told was covered through Medicare and am considering the option of the more invasive and expensive procedure of surgery. Excellent. Did three implants and provided the crowns. Payment made after each portion of implant processes, so payments were spread out over many months.

I’ve been a patient of Doctor Malpeso’s for many years he’s not only one of the finest dentists you could ask for , he’s a wonderful and caring human being. I have had many different procedures over the years, Both cosmetic and surgical, His work has been impeccable and he’s very skilled at pain management. As I’ve aged I’ve developed an issue with dry mouth, which is being treated effectively with The Wellsome mouth solution, that has been developed by Dr. Malpeso and his associates. I have found it to be far superior to the what I’ve found “over the counter “ One of the things that stands out in his office, which is different from most other medical offices that I’ve been to, is the wonderful staff, I think you can often judge a place by the amount of turnover that you see. His office is staff ed by people who have worked together for years, and I am genuinely happy to see them at every visit. Let’s face it, most people don’t look forward to a trip to the dentist, but we all have to go...and you won’t find a better experience anywhere. Expert care, professional, courteous, friendly, and punctual - what's not to love?!

Dr. ChotKowski is a thoughtful, professional individual who took care of my oral surgery with remarkable efficiency and gentleness.

Around 12 years ago, Dr. Malpeso was my dentist and he recommended the replacement of a cracked filling. He also recommended the replacement of 2 additional fillings that were perfectly fine, but not white, with white fillings so they would look cosmetically better. After the replacement I had pain to touch, hot, and cold in all 3 teeth. After 3 return appointments over a couple of weeks, in which he drilled all 3 teeth, I ended up having to see an endodontist who told me that I was having a very common allergic reaction to the fillings, and that they should have been replaced with medical fillings to save the nerves. All three teeth ended up requiring root canals and the endodontist observed that all the teeth had dead or dying nerves in them as a result of Dr. Malpeso's work. Dr Malpeso's office refused to return my calls after my third visit or help pay for the 3 root canals they unnecessarily caused. Yes, their office is state of the art. Yet their care was the worst I have received from any doctor or dentist I ever visited and I submitted a complaint to the board. Consider yourself warned. Dr Malpeso and staff provide the latest technological treatment with true caring, a rare combination.

I have been a patient of Dr. Malpeso's for 25+ years and both he and his staff have always treated me professionally and with kindness. His office is state of the art and he prides himself on being not just "up" on, but becoming a master of all leading edge dentistry techniques. More recently, Dr. Malpeso has performed the Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation procedure on me and while oral surgery/recovery isn't exactly a party, Dr. Malpeso and the entire staff made me comfortable, and the results have been excellent. Dr. Malpeso is a great lover of classic music standards (as am I) so it's always fun to listen to music with him during visits. Thank you Dr. Malpeso and staff for many years of great service.
