Excellent doctor

Extremely unprofessional.

This doctor has no staff. Just him. He checked me in and asked what I was seeing him for. I had to switch pcp’s due to an insurance change. I told him for my panic disorder and anxiety. He literally told me there are bigger issues in the world right now. I changed my pcp the next day.

Great doctor, never had a problem

We've had Dr. Jolin as our family doctor for years and I have yet to have a bad experience. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes from checkin for my appointment (very different from what I remember at my old pediatrician's office!) and he does a great job of being mindful of his patient's needs and tailors his approach accordingly. His staff is awesome and he's very accommodating with his schedule. We once had an emergency at another facility and were told we'd have the whole weekend to be seen because that facility's on-call doctor was out of the office with no substitute (it was a Friday afternoon). We immediately called up Dr. Jolin and he made time for us within the hour and solved the problem. I highly recommend him! terrible. I had a referral from a UCSF specialist simply to refer someone to give injections per his diagnosis. Dr. Jolin wouldnt't accept the dx and wanted to start over. when I explained this was done and I just needed the referral he said "you don't have to attack me" when I was just standing up for my rights. I cannnot recommend him. His personality has issues

Dr. Jolin is a good MD. It's fairly easy to get an appointment. for the most part he listens to the patient's concerns. But people should know he is very much a "no pills" kind of Dr., meaning he is hesitant to prescribe certain things, and thinks some conditions can be controlled without medication. Like for example high blood pressure could be controlled with diet and exercise. Or painful procedures one should just "fight through" the pain. I wouldn't call it holistic necessarily but he is skeptical of many treatments, programs, and medicines.

Dr. Jolin has been our family physician for over 20 years. He never rushes through a visit, spending as much time as necessary with each patient. I don’t think I have ever waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment and he is usually right on time. Don’t be surprised if he answers the phone himself! Great doctor. Its just Dr. Jolin in the office. He. Cares about his patients. He does not rush to.get you in and out of the office in 15 minutes like all the other PCP Doctors in the area.
