Would def recommend Dr Meere- procedure was smooth and extremely successful Has an excellent technique

I am from Buffalo, NY and when it was evident I would need a hip replacement I did a massive amount of research into procedures and surgeons. I decided to go with Dr Meere's approach and after reading other patient reviews/ watching online videos pertaining to Dr Meere I knew I had found the best surgeon. Once I had my first video-consult it only confirmed that I had made the right decision. He has a calm bedside manner and took the time to answer all my questions. Upon arriving at NYU several of the clinical staff I met during my various pretests couldn't say enough about Dr Meere and upon finally meeting him the day of surgery(2/12/21) I was put completely at ease. My post op pain was never higher than 3/10 and I was walking through the halls of NYU with the use of forearm crutches hours after surgery and able to leave the hospital that same day. Thanks to Dr Meere and my PT by 3/21/21 I completed a 2hr 15 min walk and felt great(tired but no pain). Thank you Dr Meere.

Just had Hip replacement. Glad I researched the whole country and found Dr . Meere . As a former Tennis Pro very excited . His bedside manner was also amazing !

Great surgeon

Dr Meere is the BEST. Two THA's in 4 months, now doing excellently. Scuba Diving and Yoga Practice again thanks to Dr Meere's foresightful and minimally invasive Robotic Surgical assist. I also like that he uses sutures instead of staples, more cosmetic and less discomfort. Recovering faster than "usual." Thanks Dr Meere and Team!

Dr. Meere is the BEST!!!! I had bilateral hip replacement and walked out of the Orthopedic Hospital. I have fallen a couple of times and those replacements never came loose. He has done my sisters hips, knees and other relatives, as well as extensive surgery on my other sister's hip; all with much success and I would recommend him to anyone and HJD as well. He is a brilliant surgeon and kind and compassionate. His staff are also kind, attentive to one's needs and very efficient.

Dr. Meere was superb in every way. He was totally focused, he spoke to me with clarity & answered every question with kindness. His office is run the same way, focus, clarity & kindness. My hip operation was so easy for me & now I am walking again with great joy.

Dr. Patrick Meere is not only an extraordinary surgeon, he is a kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable man. I have had three surgeries under his attentive care, and I recommend him without reservation. With both my hip and knee surgeries, I recuperated much more quickly than others undergoing the same procedures, and I attribute my recovery to his superb skills.

I had bilateral total knee replacement performed by Dr Meere in Feb of 2013. Everything about the experience was exceptionally good. All the preparation was very clear, including Dr Meere's presentation of all of the facets of the surgery and what to expect. The surgery went very well, and recovery was speedy. I had been bow-legged, and Dr Meere used computer technology to straighten my legs. Six years later, both knees are great, and all the follow-up exams revealed that the surgery went very well. Dr Meere is an exceptional surgeon. I highly recommend him.

I had a total hip replacement on October 9, 2019 and am very pleased with the result. I had very little pain and was able to complete my physical therapy with very little difficulty. Dr. Meere is a true Master of Orthopedic Surgery.

I cannot praise this doctor highly enough. It seems as if the time spent with his patient is unlimited . You can continue to ask questions and he will continue to listen for as long as you need. And in fact his entire office is warm and friendly, low-key and comforting.

I was especially impressed with his concern and meticulous exam and explanation of the surgery. I had interviewed about 6 surgeons before I decided to go with him. The after care is superb. All concerns are answered promptly. My leg was very crooked before the knee replacement and now it is absolutely straight. I can walk for many blocks with no pain where before the surgery I could only walk a half a block. This is 3 weeks later and i can ride a stationary bike with no problem and drive. ( i rode the bike at 2 weeks!) The office staff and Ingrid are extremely helpful as is the social worker/nurse Jing who called after surgery and weekly to check on my progress. If i could give 10 stars, I would! Dr Patrick Meere went over and above to insure that I had a successful operation snd recovery. The hand out of 35+ pages was especially helpful , also, in addressing every concern!. I am 75 years old and looking forward to going back to tennis, golf, and yoga 4 times a week.

Dr Meere did a total right and left knee replacement and the results are very good.

Dr. Meere was able to repair my knee with a total knee replacement. I had been in pain for many years & now I am 75% better after 3 months & looking forward to feeling much better after I complete my physical therapy. He is very personable and very professional. Dr. Meere is absolutely amazing!! I had minimal discomfort with a very complicated knee replacement. The precision with the MAKO robot corrected a limb length discrepancy and a leg in varus. Dr. Meere himself called me at home 2 days post op! I walked up 17 winding stairs to my bedroom one day post-op!! Can not recommend him highly enough!! Bless him every day!????????

Excellent results after bilateral knee surgery. No complications and was up and walking the next day. Hospital stay after bilateral...2 days and then homecare.

It has been almost three months since my total knee replacement. I am making good progress and am walking unaided and without pain for the most part. Dr. Meere provided me with abundant information prior to surgery, so I knew exactly what to expect at each stage of my recovery. The team of nurse-practitioners who provided follow-up over the phone were excellent. Although I am not yet fully recovered, I am thankful for Dr. Meere’s considerable expertise!

I had total knee replacement - my experience with Dr. Meere and NJD/NYU Langone was stellar.

After meeting with Dr. Meere I knew he was the surgeon I wanted to operate on me because of his credentials and reputation. He performed a complex revision of a prior hip arthoplasty. My outcome after the surgery was excellent. I had no post op complications and was home in four days. I returned to work within three months. He a highly skilled surgeon with expertise in robotic surgery.

Dr. Meere did a terrific job on my total knee replacement. After a few weeks I was walking comfortably and after 5 weeks I was back to swimming. Dr. Meere clearly explained the surgical process and the recovery expectations so I was well informed. Prior to surgery, his staff provided daily computer updates with a recommended exercise program and informational videos which were very helpful. Dr. Meere's superpath THR surgery for my left hip was amazing. Minimal discomfort, no special precautions and very very rapid return to normal usage.

I decided to switch over to Dr. Meere after my first appointment with him. I had been seeing a doctor at HSS and was immediately comfortable with Dr. Meere's explanation of the procedure, his knowledge and manner. So many people with hip surgery report bad outcomes, pain and negative experience with the doctor. It is now 11 months since my surgery. I play doubles tennis 3/4,times a week, do regular exercise at the gym and play golf twice weekly. I have my life back thanks to dr Meere’s meticulous work. I barely remember that my knees are new I have no pain and feel so active again I had double knee replacement at the same time. Dr. Meere is an excellent physician. He is extremely thorough and detailed in diagnosing a patients condition. Provides a complete explanation of procedures as well as option available. . He has an excellent bedside manner and cares about his patience. He has earned my trust. He is an excellent professional who cares about his patients.

I chose him for my THR not only because of his competence but because he is up on all latest techniques & since I am AK amputee, my situation is a bit more complicated. Dr. Meere is an amazing surgeon and extremely competent in his field of robotic Orthopedic surgery. It is very rare in our day and age to find a doctor and surgeon who really takes his time to explain the condition and the procedure. He truly cares about his patients. His office staff was very helpful and expedient and I felt I was in excellent hands from beginning to end.

I had been examined by an ortho surgeon and was hobbling along for over a year, finally coming to the conclusion that this particular doctor was not helping me in any way. When I met Dr. Meere and his staff, everything changed for me. The attention, knowledge and focus on me as a patient was exemplary. Dr. Meere's assessment and explanation of what was really going on within my knees gave me the information I needed to make a life changing decision to go forward with bilateral knee replacement.

I underwent a total knee replacement by Dr Meere one month ago. My recovery has been nothing sHort of remarkable. I am a surgeon myself and was highly anxious pre-operatively. All my recovery goals have been met to date despite a fairly complicated surgery due to the level of deformity in my knee from a prior injury 40 years ago I was back in office seeing patients on patients post op day 23! Hospital for joint diseases was great. Dr Meere is highly recommended if you need joint replacement!

Excellent doctor! ................However, his office manager...INGRID...is a disaster! I received a cell phone message while on vacation in another country that I had an appointment that day! I was stunned because..1) I NEVER made the appointment! The last time I was in the office was a YEAR before! I received in the mail a "medicare cancellation fee". This is from a an office that does NOT accept Medicare! When I called INGRID...I was told to write a letter of complaint!
