I'm please for the services I have received the staff is very friendly and understanding the doctor is very understanding and listen to everything that you have to say concerning your illness I'm just overwhelmed with the services that I have received

Doctor O'Connell and his staff educated me with reference to my condition. They provided me with treatment options and respected my opinion in that regard!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. O'Connell came highly recommended and I can see why. I like his methodical approach to a positive result!

Dr O'Connell is very polite and thoroughly goes into explaining everything to you. He doesn't talk over you, very patient in listening. The examination was gentle as well. I would highly recommend his services.

Following my left knee ACL reconstruction procedure on 11/1/2022, I am able to move with relative freedom and without discomfort, which is very impressive. The physical therapy protocol Dr. O’ Connell prescribed is extremely effective as I am noticing steady strengthening and improvement of the supporting muscles around the graft area daily. My knee is able to bend past the 90-degree angle, near 135 degrees without pain or difficulty. Since the day of the procedure, I have been very impressed with his ability to place my mind at ease, answer all questions, and perform the procedure flawlessly. During the first six weeks following the procedure, I never felt pain, only minimal muscle discomfort and manageable soreness. As I am progressing forward through the next few months of the physical therapy protocol, I am eager to continue the reinforcement and steady improvement under his guidance. Dr. O’ Connell and his excellent support team greatly enhanced my quality of life.

Dr. O'Connell is extremely personable, and informative. Examined my right shoulder with care and compassion for the pain I was in. After giving me his preliminary findings, he discussed all treatment option with detailed info and answered my questions with a smile! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The staff are very nice and efficient. Waiting time was not long. Dr O'Connell is very nice and explains everything so that you can understand. He's truly the best. I appreciate that he takes time to listen. Fantastic Doctor.

My husband and I have been using him for two decades. He’s amazing. Best of the best of the best. He takes great care of people, has great bedside manners, and is amazing at what he does.

Dr. O'Connell was referred to me by my best friend and happens to work at an ortho place where I have had 2 knee surgeries many years ago. I drove down from New Jersey because I was not happy with the doctor at Rothman ortho who did a knee replacement. I was looking for a second opinion. I'm so very glad I did. Dr. O'Connell addressed all my concerns and gave me piece of mind about the arthritis on my other knee. I feel like a ton of bricks has been lifted. I regret not using Dr. O'Connell for the replacement surgery. He will be my knee guy until I die. I highly recommend Dr. O'Connell. Dr. Pat O’Connell has all the finest qualities of what a patient should look for when choosing a physician. Patient, thorough, and thoughtful, Doc O’Connell is exceptional explaining root causes and subsequent medical courses of action. I highly recommend Doctor O’Connell and grateful for what he’s done for me.

Dr O'Connell is very professional and listens to your medical problem. After discussing with him about my left total reverse shoulder replacement surgery in Nov he examined the shoulder and decided for me to go back to physical therapy for 6 weeks and return to him to see if everything is better. I have all the faith in Dr O'Connell since he has performed 5 surgeries on me since 2020

2 major reconstruction surgery of both my knees withing 2 years. He is AMAZING AND SALLY my therapist best ever she will push you to get back right!

Dr. Patrick O'Connell and his nurse are very nice and compassionate, he has wonderful bedside manners, he listens to you and goes over your options.

I was pleased with my appointment. Dr. O’Connell explained the results of my right knee MRI. Then discussed how to fix my torn tendon.

I have been a patient of Dr. O'Connel for many years. He has operated on both my shoulders and my knees. He is an excellent Surgeon and has an awesome bedside manner.

I have been under his care since 2ooo. I had trouble with my knee. He tried everything, eventually I had a knee replacement. He is a great doctor, very caring did good job on my knee, here its 18 yes later, but starting to have some problems, but he'll fix it.

I had my left knee done by Jordan Young institute, Dr Seagal in 2014, done perfectly, to this day, feels like normal knee, then in 2017 had right knee replacement by Dr O'connell, ( only because insurance changed) . What a nightmare, butchered my knee, cut me accidentally without stitching it up, now replacement is failing

Dr O’Connell did my rotator cuff surgery October 2019. I am healing and doing well. I have been very pleased with the outstanding level of service I receive at OrthoVa. Their care, compassion and concern for my well being was evident at every visit. The first people you see as you walk through the doors were the people at the desk. They were ALWAYS smiling ( even when every chair in the waiting room was full). They would take the time with each person to make them feel they were the most important patient. Next was the nursing staff. I only saw them a few times and each time they seem genuinely happy to be at their job. Which translates to happy patients. Dr O’Connell was a very good listener when I would come in for visits with him. His concern for me to have a healthier shoulder was evident in the A+ surgery he did on it in October. He would be smiling as he entered the room for follow up visits and I think that makes a patient feel comforted.. I saw Dr O’Connell’s PA twice and he was informative about my pain management and gave me some great tips. As for the billing department I didn’t much contact with them either They did helped me one time with a billing situation with my two insurances all in one phone call!!! That rarely happens. Applause to you billing. I continued my care after surgery with therapy. I choose OrthoVa as the place for OT. They have a therapist that does therapy for shoulders to hands only. I couldn’t believe my luck!!! She was amazing as well as the people that helped with the exercises. A standing “O” for you guys!!! The people in that room were a big part of my recovery for 10 weeks. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant even when they were booked solid for the whole day. They would take the time to make sure you were doing well and helped you with any and all questions with your recovery. My OT was extremely informative and would have educate you as she provided your rehab. I valued this information as it let me understand how I would be able to heal my shoulder.
