Patrick Snowman

Dr Snowman is a very good doctor. He is very compassionate and helped me very much the night I took my husband to the emergency room.

My husband who is a physician was admitted to Hilton Head Regional hospital after having a syncopal episode. He was seen by Dr Snowman. This physician was rude rude, arrogant, and narcissistic. He did not even have enough professional courtesy to address my husband as Doctor. The ER staff and the EMS Crew were all wonderful. We will never return to this facility because of this Doctor and his terrible bedside manner.

This man is beyond rude! He is a giant parasite feeding off of making the patient feel less.

I have NEVER been treated so badly at a healthcare facility as I was when I was seen at Hilton Head Hospital ER on May 18th, 2020 for severe abdominal pain and nausea and vomiting. I informed the staff when I arrived that I had a history of bowel obstruction and I was certain that was what was going on. I was in need of an immediate IV for fluids, anti-nausea medication and pain medication. Dr. Snowman and radiology technician, Kelly, lacked compassion and professionalism and were VERY rude, arrogant, condescending and downright MEAN. The Dr. denied me an IV with pain medication and anti nausea medication until AFTER Kelly roughly wheeled me to Radiology for a CT of my abdomen which confirmed a complete bowel obstruction. I had been throwing up for hours and my labs eventually revealed a critical potassium level but when I was shaking and shivering UNcontrollably Dr. Snowman told me "If you don't stop...I'll just walk out of here".

I was seen in this ER last evening for wheezing and shortness of breath and chest pressure. This Dr and the charge nurse on staff were the WORST experience I have e Er had in an ER. I worked as an RN in a big hospital for 24 years before getting really sick. ( apparently these two know nothing about chronic illness and all the struggles/obviously). VERY condescending, rude, short, arms crossed, arrogant . If it wasn’t for Susan the sweet nurse I don’t know what I would have done since family not allowed there to advocate for me while sick.

This guy is arrogant & non-caring. Don’t know why Hilton Head continues to employ him. He’s insulting to his patients & has no time for them if they have no insurance or if he thinks they have no insurance. He doesn’t hesitate to make that clear.

This man is extremely narcissistic and degrading to his patients
