I had a lap done with him last year. He removed Endo from many areas. Unfortunately for me, he left Endo behind. He didn't remove any of the endo covering my ovaries or flush my tubes (which I requested him to do) which caused further infertility and made me have to have another lap done later that same year. He's supposed to be a specialist, but a specialist wouldn't leave disease behind. To their reply: I tried contacting your office. I was ignored at every try. The Endo is obvious to see in the photos you took yet you blatantly ignored it and my blocked tubes. Extremely disappointed and wouldn't want anyone else to go through this.

My quality of life and level of pain drastically improved after recovery of my procedure June 2019. I truly felt heard and empowered after this entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Yeung to anyone struggling with endometriosis (or needing gold standard diagnosis). He is thorough at removing all abnormal spots in the most effective way. Loved that he had my mother record everything he said so I could listen to it later. I had really kind, helpful nurses post-operatively as well.

Dr. Yeung did my surgery back in 2015. He has been the only Dr. To ever listen to me and treat my endometriosis. I had major relief after my last surgery for years. If every Dr. Was as caring and showed the knowledge that he has, there wouldn’t be nearly as many of us suffering from endometriosis. He showed me that an incurable disease does not mean untreatable. If you are at the end of your rope with Endometriosis- this is your guy. It’s been a long year of trying to find answers again and I am hoping to drive across the state to see him once again if I can get in. If you can get a referral to him, do it! I have seen over a dozen Dr.s for my condition and none of them even come close to him. Dr. Yeung did my surgery back in 2015. As someone who has endured years of endometriosis, adenomyosis, and 5 pelvic surgeries, I can say that Dr. Yeung is hands-down the best specialist I've received care from. He listened to every concern and explained everything in way that was easily understandable. I never felt rushed in any appointment. He was very real with me and didn't over-promise like some physicians do, which was such a breath of fresh air. I'm not from the area (I found Dr. Yeung on iCareBetter), and he collaborated with my local GYN to ensure the best course of action. Dr. Yeung and all of the Veritas staff alike hold themselves to a higher standard than any doctor's office I've encountered. They were all so kind, thoughtful, and empathetic! It put me at ease to know how thoroughly he investigated everywhere for disease during my surgery. The biggest thing for me was that he believed me. I'm 5 weeks post-op and haven't had the daily excruciating pain I was in prior to surgery. I'm forever grateful to Dr. Yeung and Veritas for the expert care they provide to so many women in need! I first saw Dr. Yeung in October 2021 for a consultation about my debilitating endometriosis. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and listened well. I had surgery with him in January 2022 after 2 failed ablation surgeries with other doctors. He was very thorough  and excised endometriosis, did an appendectomy, and diagnosed me with interstitial cystitis. I traveled from out of state, and when I traveled home 2 days after surgery I was in much less pain than before I had surgery.  Dr. Yeung has also been helping me with my PCOS and hormone imbalances along with helping my husband and I as we try to get pregnant.  It has now been 4 months since surgery and I feel like a different person. I am no longer in daily debilitating pain and exhaustion. I have occasional mild pain that is managed with OTC pain medication and I have so much more energy. Dr. Yeung has truly given me my life back, and I highly recommend him for care of endometriosis or related conditions or for help with fertility.

I have suffered from debilitating endometriosis symptoms since 2003 and had 2 ablation surgeries from other doctors in 2019 and 2020 that failed to provide relief for longer than several weeks. After my second failed surgery, I decided to look up endometriosis specialists from out of my state and I found Dr. Yeung. I had my first appointment with him in October 2021 and from the start of my appointment, Dr. Yeung was very knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and listened to everything that I said. He was very thorough and spent a lot of time listening to my symptoms, treatments that I have tried, and explaining about endometriosis and other conditions that could cause my symptoms and the treatment plan that he proposed. We agreed that I needed a laparoscopy with excision of any endometriosis that he found, an appendectomy, and that he would check to see if I have interstitial cystitis. I left that appointment with more hope for treatment than I had felt in a long time. I had surgery with Dr. Yeung in January 2022. His office did a wonderful job coordinating everything for my surgery and aftercare, which helped immensely since we were traveling from out of state. He was very thorough with my surgery and fully excised everything that looked suspicious for endometriosis, sent the tissue to be biopsied which confirmed endometriosis, and he also diagnosed me with interstitial cystitis. I traveled home 2 days after surgery, and while I was very sore I was in significantly less pain than before I had surgery. Since then, Dr. Yeung has also been helping me with my PCOS and hormone imbalances along with helping my husband and I as we try to get pregnant. I have been able to have remote virtual appointments with him, and his office has helped to coordinate any testing that I need done with offices that are local to me. The staff at Veritas has been extremely kind and helpful with all of this, and they have promptly answered any of my questions. It has now been 4 months since I had surgery, and I feel like a different person. Before surgery, I was constantly in moderate to severe pain, fatigued, dizzy, and generally did not feel well. Now I have so much more energy, my dizziness is under control, and I am rarely in pain. When I do have pain now, it is almost always mild and it always has been reduced or gone away when I take some Tylenol or ibuprofen, which never helped before. Dr. Yeung has truly given me my life back, and I cannot be more grateful for what he has done and is continuing to do to help me. He is a truly knowledgeable and compassionate doctor and I am so glad that I found him. I highly recommend seeking care from Dr. Yeung whether you need surgery for endometriosis or related conditions or need help on your fertility journey.

Dr. Yeung is an outstanding physician. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about endometriosis and fertility, he treats you like his own family. I was in excruciating pain for several years with no answers. When I found out that I had endometriosis, other physicians had recommended treatments that did not seem to get at the root of the problem and could cause other hormone imbalance issues. Dr. Yeung treated the cause of the problem, not the symptoms. His expertise of complete excision of endometriosis is why I am no longer in pain and have not had to have repeat surgeries. This is why we were able to have our daughter! Dr. Yeung is one of the few physicians in the area that performs complete excision of endometriosis and is fully researched in the treatment of endometriosis. I am forever grateful for finding him. I cannot praise or thank Dr Yeung enough!! Dr Yeung gave me my life back and freed me of nearly every pain I had associated with my endometriosis! He is attentive, extremely knowledgeable and respectful of his patient and their support person. Dr Yeung is everything I could have asked for in a doctor. He answered every question my husband and I had prior to surgery, immediately after and at my post surgery appointment. Dr Yeung was also knowledgeable when it came to repairing my isthmocele. I had an exploratory lap done with him and ended up with nerve damage from the procedure. His techniques are terrible as he uses 3 incisions which was the cause of the damage. I now have to pay out of pocket to help the issue. I do not recommend him. Also he does unnecessary procedures in office endometriosis biopsy. Which is very painful. I do not recommend this doctor. Dr. Young seems great, knowledgeable, professional, empathetic, intelligent.... However, I made an appointment when my pain became unbearable to the point of interfering with my everyday life, work, being with kids, etc. I then waited 6 months for an appointment only to be told that pain cases are being scheduled about 8 months out for surgery. Fertility patients can be scheduled in as little as four months. Or, I could come back, see his colleague, and maybe schedule for closer to four months from then. I waited six months and drove almost three hours to hear things I already knew, that I could benefit from excision surgery, but that I’d have to wait 4-8 more months. I don’t think my pain should be minimized over fertility. After all, having endo at all means having pain that is t taken seriously. I also don’t think anyone should have to wait 10-14 months for help. While I understand that he is in demand because he is good at what he does (that’s why I wanted to see him) I do think the office staff could be more up front in saying it’s 6 months for an appointment time and probably a year or close for surgery, or suggest the other colleague for those of us in pain only. As if it isn’t enough to be in excruciating pain for a huge part of my day and night, suffer through failed medical interventions like medicine and ablation surgery, have a lack of information and resources from the medical community, we also have to wait? If this were a man with testicular pain, he wouldn’t have to wait 6 months for an appointment and 4-8 months for relief. I had high hopes for my appointment and was left feeling more defeated than ever. Also, putting women with endo in an exam room covered in baby and breastfeeding info and pictures is just insensitive to those patients who are there for fertility purposes. Dr. Yeung is what you always expect from a doctor. Educated in his field and driven to continue learning more everyday. He is a rarity in his field. It is incredible how many doctors are out there doing surgeries everyday who just don’t care. They got their paper. They got their practice. And they will just continue to preach and practice outdated or unproven methods that disrupt and even destroy people’s lives all because they just don’t care enough to stay up to date. Yeung did an excision surgery of endometrial tissue for my wife. It has been 2 years and she is still pain free (with the exception of IC). This wasn’t the first surgery she had for this issue. She went through several doctors and participated for years on several online endometriosis groups before she found out about Dr. Yeung. If you or someone else you know is dealing with the hell of endometriosis I would definitely recommend this doctor for the removal of the tissue. ( He also found and removed a neuroendocrine tumor in the appendix. ) Do not let doctors use ablation !! Dr. Yeung is what you always expect from a doctor. Hey everyone! I had complete excision surgery with Dr. Patrick Yeung Jr. MD a few weeks ago. He was able to remove all the endo a s removed my appendix as well. I feel great. My cycle should start any second now and I am pain free. I highly recommend going to see him. He is in St Louis, Mo. It does take quite some time to get in to see him, but wouldn’t you rather wait for the best then to have surgery with an ordinary OBGYN and then have to repeat the surgery again down the road as most woman have to. Dr. Yeung was kind, caring, extremely knowledgeable and took his time with me and my stepmom to explain everything post surgery. Please do yourself a favor ans check him out! Hey everyone! Patients should be aware that in addition to a six month or so wait time for a consultation, there is an additional four month wait for fertility patients to have surgery and an additional eight months for pain patients. Had I known I’d be waiting 14 months for potential relief, or that I’d be referred to a colleague since I’m not interested in fertility, I wouldn’t have waited over six months in debilitating pain., taken off a day of work, or wasted six hours driving to the appointment. Endo pain should t be minimized by anyone, especially an endo specialist. Transparency for patients from the beginning should be essential so that other, more timely, options can be explored.

Even though I already have a confirmed diagnosis of endometriosis, I don’t feel as though Dr. Yeung took my request for treatment seriously. Instead I was belittled and tested for several STDs, none of which my insurance would cover and I am now stuck paying for out of pocket.

To any woman who is suffering from Endometriosis, or suspects they may have it, I cannot recommend Dr. Yeung enough. He is one of the only doctors in Missouri who performs Excision Surgery and focuses exclusively on Endometriosis and current research. His office also accepts insurance, making him far more accessible and affordable. I did have to wait about eight months from my consultation to my surgery, but he is worth the wait. He started my consultation simply saying “Tell me your story” and my post-op by shaking my hand and stating “Congratulations, you’re not crazy”. Dr. Yeung’s entire staff is so understanding and caring, I’ve never experienced such kindness from medical staff or such expertise of Endometriosis and pelvic pain. My procedure was about 3 hours and he looked everywhere he knows Endo grows using what he calls “optimal excision, or see and treat”. He also performed a Cystoscopy of my bladder to confirm suspected Interstitial Cystitis, what he calls the evil twin of Endometriosis. Any spots he removed were sent to pathology to confirm Endometriosis, and he gave me tangible evidence by handing me the pathology report so I now have definitive proof for future doctors. As I’m recovering I’ve noticed a distinct lack of many pains I had grown so used to. He is confident that if I continue to have pain then Endo is the last potential source. I can’t thank Dr. Yeung enough for not only believing me, but helping me. He also participates in current research and you can elect to have your pathology used in that research. My samples were sent to Paris, France where they are attempting to find a blood test to detect Endo in a less invasive way. If you’re suffering and can’t get other doctors to believe you, Dr. Yeung will listen to you and do all he can to relieve your pain. Seeing him is certainly best decision I’ve made. Dr Yeung is a phenomenal physician, and I cant say enough about how he has helped my husband and I in the past 6 years! When I met him, I had a diagnosis of stage 4 Endometriosis, bilateral endometriomas, prior surgery with a different doctor with no success, and had little hope for symptom relief or ever being able to have children (after years of trying). Dr Yeung was patient, knowledgeable, and always took the extra time to determine the best course of action for my treatment. He has always been so invested in not only my endo treatment and care, but in my husband and my dreams of having a family. I am happy to say that after an extremely successful surgery performed by Dr Yeung in 2013, I have had no recurrence of endometriosis symptoms and just gave birth to my 3rd child! Dr. Yeung cares so much about his patients, and is the absolute best! He shows so much compassion, is an excellent Dr., and is a leading expert in this field. I would recommend anyone to him!

Following my surgery with Dr. Yeung, my symptoms worsened and I was in constant pain and discomfort. I went back 3 separate times over several months to get help. Each time, he refused to investigate and told me the surgery had been successful. He just said my results were "disappointing." I couldn't function some days, and he wouldn't even order imaging or tests. I switched to another doctor who found the problem immediately and I required an additional surgery.
