Dr. Paul Michael Blank

Dr Blank did a filling which fell out 5 days later, also while the tooth filling was in place it was not appropriately fitted which caused trauma to other teeth. This all caused a serious gum infection and caused me to lose two other teeth. Thanks to my GP I received antibiotic treatment which ultimately ended my one year battle to stop the infection

I'd give zero stars if I could. This place is lousy outdated and rude. Personally would like to see and inspection done on the place. Would bring me great joy to see this place shut down.

By far the worst dentist I had ever been told. Skips steps and cuts corners in the cleaning process. Was in and out 15 min. Would give 0 stars if possible. Even more rude than the staff was the dr. Obviously hates his job and his life. 10/10 would not recommend.

Staff and Dr Blank were great with me. My husband also saw him and was very happy. I would recommend them highly.

I was 3 mins late to a cleaning because of icy roads and snow and the hygienist made me reschedule and even got unprofessional to me yelling! As a fellow dental worker myself i will say holly the hygienist is not a professional I want working on my teeth. Everyone here is so nice but all the fillings I’ve ever had done here popped out a year or two later causing some serious problems. Now another dentist has to fix his mistakes and it’s quite costly. I would come here for emergencies but wouldn’t for a long term dentist.

They are so rude and impatient and it's been like that since I was younger. I've tried them again after years of going to a different dentist to see if there was a change and it's the same energy. If you're that grumpy and don't like your career retire or find something that makes you happy.

I would give Zero stars if it was an option. I was discriminated against by Dr. Blank's staff because I am a Medicaid patient. I called to get an urgent appointment for a painful abscess and was told the soonest available appointment was two weeks away. Okay. So I show up today for my appointment and I'm seen by a woman who may or may not have been a dental hygienist. She takes one x-ray of my mouth and tells me I have bone loss. Then she asks me what kind of antibiotic I want to take, as if I am qualified to say. Then she gives me a flyer for the dental school clinic at KVCC and says I should call them for a periodontal screening. I ask, why can't I have the screening here? She says something non-specific about my insurance. I say okay and leave. I call the number for the clinic; the first screening appointment is January. No procedure appointments until March. I call back to Blank's office, now at this point I am livid. Why couldn't they just have helped me today? Why wasn't I given a full exam? If the procedure I need isn't covered by Medicaid I should have been given the option to pay cash. Now they are trying to say I need a different specialist. But HOW WOULD THEY KNOW THAT?! Very nice staff, I've had no issues. Only one doc, so he is jumping from patient to patient, If you want a no nonsense do it in and out, He's your guy! The doc and staff all seem to have a good sense of humor and are kind and caring, they definitely work for a living and are moving so don't expect a lot of chatting, if you need that, it may not be the place you're looking for. Went in with tooth pain and was told it was just sensitivity. The lady was very gentle cleaning my teeth which I initially appreciated. Went for a second opinion and I have 4 cavities or fillings that need refilled. They also vigorously cleaned my teeth and it seems like the cleaning done at blanks wasn’t very thorough. Always got me in and always took care of me they know I dint deal with pain very well especially tooth pain they always made sure I was comfortable and the doctor blank is a really good man

I've been seeing Dr. Blank consistently for 22 years. He's about the only dentist I will let touch my mouth, if I have a choice. He has always made sure I am in as little pain as possible. He's filled several of my teeth and pulled several more, he's the only dentist I'll recommend.

Dr Blank removed several teeth of mine and left fragments in my mouth which caused a severe infection. His staff are some of rudest incompetent people I have ever seen.

Don't go here unless you want shoddy work and having to replace every tooth they work on... bad dentist should be out of practice. All three fillings he performed on me 5 months ago now need pulled or root canals thanks to his negligence!

I think Dr blank is a very good dentist he gave me my novocaine shots and pulled my tooth and I didn't even know he did it no pain whatsoever thank you Doctor blank.

Drove from Kalamazoo to his office in Three Rivers to have the dentures I got from him realigned. When I got there, they informed me that they didn't accept my Medicaid plan. The receptionist said she had called and left me a message giving me that information. When I got home, I checked my answering machine and she had called less than an hour before my appointment. When I originally scheduled the appointment, I specifically asked if they still accepted Medicaid and was told that they did. The receptionist suggested that I change my plan in order to receive treatment there. I don't think so... I had only a few bad teeth and was told by his assistant that Medicaid didn't cover partial dentures and I would have to have all of my teeth pulled. I learned (too late) that Medicaid does cover partial dentures so they lied to me. So, I had all my teeth pulled even though I only needed 4 extracted. I was not sure what I needed. The advise I got was of surprise to me. The opportunity to make a bit of money off me by doing needless treatments was not even considered. I have gone to Dr. Blank since my very first appointment as a kid and will never go anywhere else. The staff have always been helpful and attentive. Dr. Blank is knowledgeable and a straight shooter.

Horrible! I'd rather have my 5 year old work in my mouth blindfolded.????

Went here to get a filling fix and this was the only place that could get me in the next day, walked in to a run down lobby and filled out my paperwork then sat for an additional 10 mins waiting for him to finish up other work. Once I got back to the room the assistant help me in getting my X-ray done and then wait another 15 minutes for the dentist to come numb me up. When he came in to do my work he never once introduced himself and just started doing work on my mouth while never even sitting down, he just rushed through the work and never even said two word to me. I came in today very nervous, i havent been to a dentist in quite a while. The dentists that work there made me feel very welcomed and made sure i was calm and relaxed. They did a very well job filling the 2 cavities on my front teeth and i am now confident to smile again. I give you guys 5 stars and ill definitely be back for future work on the teeth. Mr.Blank gave me a ton of attitude when I told him what he was doing hurry me and said you are numb I'll show you and pressed on the other side of my mouth causing more pain so I got up and walked out

Having your teeth cleaned and laughing at the same time is tough. I always get both accomplished during my visits. Offering red wine as a mouth wash would certainly add to the experience.

When I walked in the door I was treated by a warm caring receptionist and dental assistant. The dentist was fast and I had very little wait time. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

I had an ideal experience today at the dentist! As someone who has an intense fear of dental work and has avoided the dentist for years, I was pleasantly surprised by my visit today. The receptionists and dental hygienist were all friendly, happy, and warm people. The dentist didn't say much, but he was efficient and looked over my teeth without causing me any pain to my sore tooth. :) He seemed like a nice man. I go back in a week for more work, and I am much less anxious about my visit. There's a small town feel to the place which is comforting (even to this girl who drove in from the city).

Holly, who cleaned my teeth, was very friendly and outgoing and did a good job. We are on Social Security & Medicare so don't have dental insurance and are very pleased that Dr. Blank participates in the Careington plan. He, too, seemed very pleasant during my exam.

The doctor removed my number 30 tooth and after he finished with the pulling, yanking and drilling my head was still attached. He stole my tooth and I am starting to come with the gripping thought that I'll never see it again! Boo Hoo! because when he did work on my tooth it caused me pain afterward. i called to inform him of it and he said it was my imagination and that the pain would go away, which it never did and that he couldn't look at it or fix it and later it became abscessed, and had to be pulled.

I've gone to Doctor Blank for a few years. I'm a giant biker whose one fear is the dentist but Dr. Blank is so nice and the girls who work there are amazing. They put me 100% at ease with each visit and he does his work faster and more efficient than any dentist I've seen. I see people complain that he's not friendly but it's honestly not true. He's just about his business and doesn't sit there asking questions while he's got his hands in your mouth. Due to an insurance mix up, I was forced to get an extraction from a dentist in Kalamazoo, the hack got the tooth half way out and had to take a break because his hand was tired. I am a big baby about going to the dentist. When my 9 yr old wasn't upset after having work done, I bucked up (it had been years) had my teeth cleaned and the two cavities filled. The appointment- I didn't have to wait long, it is clear he and his staff try to make it as smooth and painless as possible, and the fillings haven't given any indication of trouble. I hate dentists. I haven't been to one in 5 years cause I hate the sound of a drill and despise needles. Paul had me numb before I could even panic. No joke........I was totally numb before I could ask a question or bury myself deep in the chair. Great dentist........I highly recommend.
