You can stop your search and book with Dr. Kelly. Behind the Scottsdale-esque trendy branding (a nice touch) is a team of professionals full of substance who will make you feel like you're about to drop $10,000 on VIP bottle service. The process moves at just the right pace, fast enough to keep your anxiety from overwhelming you but not so fast that you feel like you're in a rush to order a drink at last call. The staff - you will interact with different departments (check in, consultation, financing, etc...) At best you'll get a salt of the earth team member who will make you feel like you're part of the family. At worst, you'll still get a friendly professional who understands she works at an elite institution (even if she may not be feeling very elite that day). And yes, Dr Kelly absolutely called me after hours when my pharmacy botched an order and he offered to call in to a 24 hour pharmacy. God bless Dr. Kelly and his staff. Gone are the days of the scary dentist visit and dare I say....um.... I'm looking forward to my next visit. They will take care of you like you're a A-list celebrity visiting old town, even if your only claim to fame is having a poor flossing routine.

I want to first start off and say Thank you to Dr. Paul Kelly and Team for taking good care of me. I’m 33 years old and I was very nervous to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I had a lot of questions and they are all so kind and explained everything to me. If your looking for an Oral Surgeon this is the place to GO!!!

March, 2023 - We have lived in about 11 cities in 4 states & have never had such exceptional & positive experiences that we have with Paul Kelly Maxillofacial (PKM). Our family has been seeing Dr. Paul Kelly since 2020. His staff & surgical nurses are the best anywhere. All are very friendly & helpful. Dr. Kelly has performed 3 complicated surgeries for myself; surgery on my wife; 2 of our sons & also advised on very complicated issues with our oldest son (who lives in another state). Today he performed surgery for our 12yo who was very anxious (7 baby teeth extracted). They took very good care of our son. He doesn’t even remember getting the IV which he was most anxious about. Thanks Dr. Kelly & all of your staff & surgical nurses.

Great office and staff. Only problem is they weren’t clear up front that we would be paying for a consultation for our daughter’s wisdom teeth removal. Just keep this in mind if you are going for a consultation. We were surprised when we got a bill.

Dr. Kelly had my cracked tooth out in a jiffy. Gives a nice shot to numb you up. His medical asst. was Luna, and she set with me for quite a while while Dr. Kelly was doing a surgery on another person.. It was so nice to have someone in there with me, especially when I saw my B.P was very high. Was grateful that Luma was there to talk to and get me relaxed. Thanks Luna and Dr. Kelly!

After seeing another dental surgeon & being very unhappy, I ended up seeing Dr. Kelly. Couldn't have been more pleased . His bedside manner is wonderful & he put me at ease from the first visit. The previous surgeon had terrified me with possible problems. Dr. Kelly was confident he could handle it and he did with NO problems. You will just LOVE him. Punctual, considerate, no surprise charges, cares about his patients, doesn't rush you. Takes good care of you from beginning to end. Office staff is great too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

Dr. Kelly is a true professional! The wisdom teeth extraction for both my kids on the same morning couldn't have gone better. He put my kids at ease (as they were both a little nervous) and exuded the confidence and knowledge we all hope to get from medical professionals. Both Dr. Kelly and the office staff were very attentive and clear on what would take place and how to go about post-surgery care thereafter. Having a tooth extraction is not exactly on the top of my hit parade but I’ve more than endured this procedure without suffering even a hint of pain. My new Maxillo-facial surgeon, Dr. “Painless Paul”Kelly is just amazing!! I mean this in every sense of the word. One can certainly observe this from the office itself to all the employees that “Painless Paul” is extremely particular and has things done in a very thought-out way which would be appreciated by all who come into this practice. I’m was pretty stressed having a tooth pulled and my blood pressure jumped thru the roof. No worries, I survived quite well, and feeling great. I have been to a lot of dentists over the years and Paul Kelly Maxilliofacial has been one of the best! The staff is extremely friendly and they make all of my visits incredibly comfortable and quick. Going to the dentist can come with a lot of stress. However with them I don't ever have any. I would definitely recommend them!

Going to Dr. Kelly was such an easy and quick experience and I felt completely comfortable the whole time. I got all four wisdom teeth out just yesterday, and have been in almost zero pain since. Waited an hour in the waiting room without any of the receptionists giving us an update on when we would be seen. Beyond frustrating. The question I have is, would we have been seen if we would have showed up an hour late? It would be a good business practice to call patients when you are that behind in your day out of respect for your clients, at the very least let them know as they check in. As a business owner and consumer, an indicator of a doctor/practice that values and respects its clients is whether or not they give you the curtesy of being on time. They worked to fit us into their busy schedule so my daughter could be seen during winter break before heading back to school. Went in with a very bad teeth, destroyed from years of bad decisions. I was also in severe pain from an active infection. The team was able to get me in on an emergency basis and pulled six teeth, while placing one implant. They worked with my insurance to get the lowest possible out-of-pocket payment and the pricing was unexpectedly reasonable! I am about 24 hours out from surgery right now and I’m amazed that I have no discomfort at any of the extraction sites. The only pain that I have is from the area where an implant was placed, but the pain is being well-managed and was to be expected. The staff and Dr. Kelly are all excellent. It can be very overwhelming when your child needs for wisdom teeth surgically removed but all of that overwhelm is resolved as soon as you meet with the staff! I’m so happy with everything from the initial consultation, to the surgical procedure and all of the follow ups they do. Highly recommend!

I brought my teenage special needs brother to Dr. Kelly for some extractions and I was blown away by this practice, in the best way!! The office staff was accommodating and professional on the phone, they made scheduling a breeze. Once we arrived at the office the girl at the front desk was so pleasant, I felt like I’ve known her for years. Where do I start? Dr. Kelly's office was highly recommended by my dentist. I'm so glad I went through with my implant placement here. This was my second attempt to have an implant placed in the same tooth # because the first one failed (which was done by a completely different and unassociated office). Since the first one failed, I was apprehensive of the time and cost of going through this again. But Dr. Kelly answered all of my questions at the consultation, which was free of charge. I was happy that the consult conserved the dental benefits for the procedure. After seeing high reviews across multiple platforms (Google, Cigna dental, Yelp, Health Grades, etc), I was reassured in choosing Dr. Kelly's office. The next available time to schedule an appointment was about 2 weeks out, which worked for me. On the day of appointment, I picked up my prescriptions before the procedure, had a bite to eat, and started the antibiotics and ibuprofen. I chose to stay awake for the procedure instead of going under. Although my wait to be seen was about 1.5 hours after my scheduled time, it was likely an anomaly where patients who were scheduled before me took longer to be seen, were late, or some other reason. I kept a positive outlook because I figured that they're all seeking some improvement in their dental care...and well, that takes time. But when Dr. Kelly started the procedure, it was quickly completed. I had the procedure three days ago and from what I can tell, I am healing up really well. My son had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Paul Kelly and he said he had the worst bed side manner. I’m a nurse practitioner so that says something. My son knows what good bedside manner is and is not. We declined sedation. I just don’t believe in the use of sedation if not needed. Dr. Kelly questioned this and my medical decision making in regards to the use of sedation with a simple uncomplicated wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Kelly seemed annoyed by this request. I reassured him that my son would do just fine with a nerve block as he had done previous periodontal work with nerve block prior to his wisdom teeth removal. My son said it was like a conveyer belt of patients. Dr. Kelly didn’t even say hi, just came in, pulled teeth, and moved on quickly to the next patient. I will not be using his services for child 2. It seems to me Dr. Kelly pushes total sedation to increase the cost of wisdom teeth removal and convenience to him. No thank you. We will be consulting Dr. Fish for child 2. I will say that my son’s wisdom teeth were removed without sedation and without issue. He healed well. Dr. Kelly is just totally lacking in good quality bedside manner and I believe he pushes sedation to increase total bill. Dr. Kelly does a great job but the office isn't all that efficient or well run. Every time I've been there, you wait at least 30 minutes to be seen, then at least another 15 - 30 minutes for the doctor ... only to be seen by the doctor for a few minutes. Still not quite sure why scheduling and sticking to a schedule is all that difficult? I get a few minutes late here and there but that's a LONG wait with children. He was placed on Amoxicillin to decrease any potential for infection and Motrin/Tylenol PRN for discomfort. Very professional. I didn't spend much time with Dr Kelly, he's a busy man. No nonsense, all conversations were straight forward and to the point. I had a really good experience with my wisdom teeth removal. I chose general anesthesia and the whole procedure went very smoothly. The staff were really kind, considerate and nice. I was given local anaesthesia as well on the day of the surgery and did not feel any pain. For the first few days, I was taking ibuprofen every 9hrs and did not experience much pain. There was a bit of a swelling for a few days and using ice pack helped. It's been a few weeks and I am healing up nicely. They give an instruction booklet to follow and I haven't had any issues. Dr Kelly is an oral surgeon that does not cut corners. He is all about long, lasting results and getting it right the first time. He was also willing to hear my concerns when I voiced them & validate them & me. Getting older is never fun. We try to hold on to our independence & our original body parts for as long as we can. Dr Kelly is also onboard to help us reach this same goal successfully. So glad my dentist referred me to him so I’ll can keep my original teeth for as long as humanly possible. I worked for PKM a few years back and I was so impressed with him then. I wish I had never left but, today I was on the other side of the gloves as a patient. I had an extraction and implant placement same day. Can I just say WOW. From the shot to the sinus bump I felt no discomfort the implant was placed and on my way. I had a really great experience here! I got all my wisdom teeth extracted and chose to be put under. Dr. Kelly was very friendly and explained everything to me. The staff was also very friendly and kept me comfortable with a blanket during my procedure. He offered to take a mole of for me and stitched it up so I wouldn’t have a scar! Very clean and professional environment. Everyone was super patient and kind to me. The biggest reason I'm writing this, is because the surgeon helped me out when I was in a hard place. I was going to have to split up my wisdom teeth removal into two separate visits due to funds. Right before they put me down, the surgeon told me that he was going to do the top 2 for free, which is really unheard of. This doesn't mean go in and ask for free teeth removal! Dr. Kelly removed my wisdom teeth and I couldn’t have had a better experience. I have put it off out of fear but I would’ve done it much sooner If I knew it’d be that easy!
