I went there for a simple extraction. He was confused and asked me the same question 3 times. He then tested the novocaine needle over my face and squirted it in my eye. When I immediately wiped my eye, he stuck my thumb with the needle. He never apologized. The extraction was extremely rough and he kept hitting my other teeth with the instruments. He had a terrible bedside manner and I felt very rushed. I would not recommend Dr. Mancia to anyone. He needs to retire.

My review is not about the endodontist, but of the staff. The person who answered the phone who claimed she was the supervisor was exceedingly rude. She was gruff and in a hurry, and she became combative and asked if I was a specialist because I said she had the wrong information on a tooth. She tried to refuse to let me speak to a dentist, and finally yelled unprofessionally across the office about my private records. She's a terrible office representative to a great dentist who deserves better

Dr. Mancia performed four implants, three of which have already fallen out, and the fourth one is in danger. I have spent $15,000 on these and am now in worse shape than when I first saw him. I am currently under the care of a different specialist who will try to correct the work done.

Dr. Mancia performed a successful root canal on me, and also a successful implant to replace a bad tooth. (Both procedures were done more than 2 years ago.)
