Dr. McMullan took time to draw the heart and explained in detail what happened. His kind and reassuring manner made me feel safe and secure in knowing I am receiving top notch care.

Dr. McCullan is a great doctor. He's concerned, Caring, and takes interest in my heart health. He explains everything about my heart issue. He takes time. I feel privileged to have him as my cardiologist!

Dr. McMullan took the time necessary to help me understand what is happening with my heart. Not only did he explain the “what”, but more importantly the “why”, using words I understood…not medical jargon, which gave me a greater peace about the protocol he suggested. I originally had an appointment with another heart doctor, but an off chance meeting in a waiting room with a patient of Dr. McMullan’s, led to him suggesting that we contact the doctor. We did and are thankful for that recommendation. Thank you Dr.!

Dr. Mcmullen is one of those people who definitely found his calling… His staff is professional and sweet every time you go in to see them, always smiling, always humorous. Paul is without a doubt one of the most caring, and thorough doctors you will ever meet. He listens to me, he humor me, but he puts me in my place when I do something wrong… Which I try never to do but as always we do make errors. But not Paul, he’s been with me since my heart attack and he was the one who did the arterial gram on me and let me know in the most gentlest way that I needed a triple bypass. Surprise me on my first visit to him post surgery, when he brought out of scratch piece of paper where he had drawn my heart and all the things that were wrong with it and all the things that were right with it… I trust him with my life because I owe my life to him. Very courteous and thorough

I had a spell about six or seven years ago, it was two arteries that was crossed over each other. both collapsed. Needed stints in both. Very hard to do.. so my doctor, doctor Cage did not want to try so he asked me to talk to Doctor Mcmullan. So doctor Mcmullan came in my room and we actually talked about 30 minutes about everything. Lol. what a class act he is. So it was rougher then he thought.. but he ended up putting a stint in the upper and a balloon in the lower… but it was a success... Very pleasant. Easy to talk too. Wonderful bedside manner. His nurse is awesome too.

Everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome starting with the front desk, nurses and the doctor.

Very caring doctor and staff

I have worked with Dr. McMullan and April for over a year now. They are professional and caring but more than that, they listen!! I would not want to be anywhere else with regards to my heart.

I have known Dr. McMullan for many years, even prior to him becoming my cardiologist. I first met him and got to know him as a nurse at Ascension Mid Town prior to me retiring. In my opinion you couldn't ask for a better physician or person. 5 stars do not come close to rating him, he is much, much better than just 5 stars. I literally have trusted him with my life and never had a second thought about it. I have known Dr. McMullan for many years, even prior to him becoming my cardiologist. Dr McMullen staff professional courteous took their time explained everything to me

Dr. McMullen takes his time with you, to listen to your concerns or answer any ?’s. He’s done 4 stents on me, plus worked closely with my pacemaker cardiologist while I’ve been in the hospital numerous times. I highly recommend him to all my family and friends. He’s the best!

Very happy with Dr. McMullan and Dr. Nava his partner. Both are very knowledgeable and take time with you to make sure you understand everything they are telling you. I feel very confident with my treatment and that makes a world of difference.

Excellent Cardiologist! Upon arriving at St. Thomas Mid-Town, him and his team started to work on my heart and within 45 minutes he was finished putting a stent in my blocked artery. I was in in my bed before my wife.could arrive. Excellent care and concern for my well being!!

I was visiting my daughter and he was kind to see me. With his expertise he has saved my life. I was blocked 95 % and he took care of it with stents. I will forever be indebted to him.
