Dr. Paul G Melaragno

Dr. Melaragno and his staff were most professional. They made time to answer all of my questions and explained what I might expect throughout surgery and recovery. They took time to help my wife and me feel relaxed and comfortable on the day of surgery. Wait times for office visits were surprisingly short.

Dr. Melaragno is a very gifted and talented surgeon. He did my total knee replacement surgery. And I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Dr. Melaragno to anyone who is in need of surgery. He is very carin and personable and wants you to have the best outcome possible!

I had my left knee replaced by Dr. Melaragno in 2012, had a great experience then. So when I needed my right knee replaced in 2023, I was not going to go anywhere else but Ortho One. Dr. Melaragno and his staff are very professional and really care about their patients.

My surgery went much better than I could have expected! The caretakers at Grove City were caring and attentive. I highly recommend this location. I plan to have my other knee replaced by Dr. Melaragno later this year. I feel like he really cares about his patients.

Dr Melaragno did a great job. He was available if I had questions after the procedure-called me back on weekend. Very minimal scarring and pain after procedure.

This was my second surgery with Dr Mearagno. He is a wonderful guy. I recommend him to my friend at church that needed a knee replacement and she just loved him too

Found out in late 2021 that I needed a knee replacement and had it scheduled originally with Dr. Melaragno for February of 2022, but I had to cancel that date. Tami in his office worked with me throughout the year, getting me a 2nd cortisone shot to get me through to my new surgery date in December. All the prep work (MRI, pre-op appointment with my family doctor, and an appointment with their physical therapy unit ) was handled by Tami and she made sure I had all the information I needed before the surgery. Surgery was done at the Grove City Surgery Center and things went great. All the medications I needed for after were taken care of and called in to my pharmacy. I had a packet of information about what to expect after the surgery and what exercises I was to start doing at home before my first physical therapy appointment. I’m almost 5 weeks out from the surgery and started back swimming yesterday and finished up a mile and a half walk this morning. I could not have hoped for a better result out of this whole process, and I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Melaragno, his PA Bryan, Tami, and the therapists I’ve worked with, T.J. and Claudia. Thanks for everything!

I felt no pressure to replace my knee joint. The practice simply informed me of the state of my knees, after osteoarthritis had been eating away my cartilage. But when I decided to do it. Dr. Melaragno and his team informed me thoroughly about what would happen and what the recovery would look like. After surgery I called several times with questions and always received a quick response. I’m amazed that I only have an 8” incision. How they remove a diseased joint and replace it with a new one and move all the ligaments, muscles, and nerves aside to do that within a small opening amazes me. I’m a month into recovery and am delighted with the mobility I’ve already regained and the strength I can feel in my new knee. I felt no pressure to replace my knee joint. Dr. Mel replaced my knee a month ago. I can’t stress enough how awesome he was to work with. Another reviewer said he is so personable and professional. That is him exactly. I had my right knee replacement in February 2021 and left knee replacement in October 2021 by Dr Mel. Amazing experience! He is wonderful to work with as you go through the steps. Quick recovery and able to do the things I couldn’t do. Highly recommend him and Orthepedic One.

Orthopedic One and Dr Melaragno and his staff are professional and knowledgeable. My knee replacement was the first major surgery I had experienced and I felt in amazing hands throughout the process. I had a great experience with my LTKR and Dr. Melaragno. I really can’t think of a negative except that it’s a TKR. I did the prehab exercises and followed the instructions In Dr. Melaragno’s surgical guidebook. So very helpful. The entire team both at Ortho One and at the hospital were kind and generous with their time as well as incredibly professional. I had such a positive experience and I was terrified beforehand. This is a difficult surgery but I’m confident that I made the right decision in choosing Dr. Melaragno and his highly skill surgical team.

Very pleased with Dr Melaragno. Quite personable and professional. Informed me of all scenarios regarding total knee replacement so I would be aware and prepared post-op. I would recommend him to anyone needing this surgery.

Dr Melaragno was my Orthopedic Surgeon 16 years ago when my left knee was needing replaced. It still is in very good shape and has be trouble free. I'm ready for a repeat performance and another Zimmer High-flex knee .

He is excellent, telling me things to expect and exactly why he is doing what he is doing. At each point he asked me if I understood.

I had full knee replacement on both knees 4 weeks apart. With the quality work of Dr. Melaragno and my in home and Opthopedic One therapist I was able to have my full range of motion back in both knees within 4 weeks of my second surgery! Thanks, Dr Mel!!!

Dr. Melaragno replaced my right knee. I couldn't walk or even stand prior to surgery. I had far less pain than I expected, and was back lifting weights, playing pickleball, and walking my dog several miles a day at 5-6 weeks post surgery. And my scar looks great!

I had a lot of problems , but nothing that he did i would highly recommended to any who needs knee replacement. My problem was with riverside hospital that's all i will say thank yoy

Paul Melaragno has replaced both of my knees and my right hip. The first knee was done 13 years ago. Since then, I have WALKED 18 holes of golf three times a week with no problems. My best advice -don't put it off!

Dr Mel was great and the staff at Orthopedic One surgery center were exceptional. I had my left knee replaced and was walking in less than 6 hours. Home in 8 hours. Recovery is better than I expected. Five stars.

Not only is he a great surgeon, Paul is a good person along with his office staff. I’ve had both knees and my left hip done and all surgeries have for well Thanks Doc

How do you thank someone for giving you your life back? I was in so much pain after walking only 30 feet that my bp would raise to 177/110. Dr. Melaragno replaced both my knees. Now I walk about a mile a day W/dog. I am off the bp meds and my bp is 120/80 ! My knees haven't felt this good since I was child before football. God bless Dr. Melaragno and his awesome team !

Excellent education on what to expect prior to and after surgery! Great care...always available to answer questions and concerns.

Best of the best. Can't say enough good about him. He replace my wife knee last March 21st and she is doing great. My knees turned out just to have arthritis and I'll get injections. Great Doctor.
