Dr. Minotty had to perform 3 surgeries on my one cateract. After the first surgery, I could only read the top 3 lines on the eye chart. Then, he did a “piggyback” surgery (another lens). This was put on crooked and my pupil was/is shaped like a pear. The 3rd surgery was to correct this and created a blurb above the pear shaped pupil. This is a white scar the size of an eraser head and cannot be corrected. After seeing all his associates for a year, they admitted that it could not be fixed. I cannot even wear a contact lens on this eye due to the raised scar. They did refund the $2000. I paid for for astigmatism correction. terrible.. Dr. Minotti damaged my R eye and inserted the wrong lens for my MD condition.

I would highly recommend Dr. Minotty and New Vision Eye Center. The professionalism, knowledge, competence and friendliness of everyone there makes it a pleasure to have an eye exam. I felt that Dr. Minotty explained his findings thoroughly. Upon observing how upbeat and happy the staff appeared to be, I asked the technician helping me how she liked her job. After hearing the many things that make working there such a pleasure, I contacted a former colleague who handles the annual "Best Places to Work" campaign and recommended that he reach out to the Center's HR dept. If they decide to participate in the 2020 campaign, I am sure they will be designated a "Best Place to Work".

Dr Minotty is an outstanding doctor. Very professional. His staff is thorough and very pleasant to work with. Everyone is highly skilled and they give off a friendly vibe at the same time. We are thrilled to have found these highly skilled professionals here in Vero Beach. Congrats!

Since the front desk to the end of my visit they were wonderful. Angela took me in less than 10 minutes, she was very polite. Dr. saw me in less than 5 minutes, He was very nice and explained me my problems. Thank you very much !!!

Dr Minotty did not rush to do cataract surgery at this time and I liked the fact that he explained different options to me.

Dr. Minotty is kind and extremely comforting and we feel confident in his hands. He explains all procedures in terms which anyone can understand and he is very patient and not rushed in his explanations.

I appreciate the care Dr. minotty and staff gave me. I was given a thorough examination and left feeling confident that I will be able to read again with corrective glasses.

I have had two appointments so far. I saw Dr. Minotti once. His staff were very efficient and set up my cataract surgery by conducting all the tests needed. I was surprised that Dr. Minotti was not involved for the most part. He did an exam, verified diagnosis and recommended removal. Very pleased with Dr And staff. My procedure is scheduled for Wed. Ready to go! One note, my appt for pre-op at Dr Minotti's office/surgery center required an extra $65 copay + $80 test. This was unexpected.

I have been a patient of Dr. Minotty for over a year. During this time I have always been very impressed with his professionalism and medical expertise as well as that of his entire staff. I recommend Dr. Minotty and the New Vision Eye Center to anyone requiring ophthalmologic care.

I have special needs with my eyesight that he & Dr. Kris Smith (for glasses contacts & other special needs) have both given me The most extraordinary care. I have been a patient for 3 years and have undergone cataract surgery on both eyes. Because of previous radial keratotomy, cataract surgery was a bit tricky. I had no complications and was extremely satisfied with the surgery and subsequent followup. The office is run like a machine. I never have to wait for more than 5 minutes before being seen.

After surgery started experiencing symptoms of retinal detachment, which is warned of by the doctor and recommends being seen immediately. I was told it was nothing over the phone. Luckily my regular eye doctor saw me immediately. They overcharged, double billed, and are genuinely not helpful. I still have problems with this eye every day, almost two years later.

Very professional, patient oriented doctor. Had an eye emergency recently, he was so quick to have me come in and take are of the problem, He has been my long term eye care professional.
