Dr. Paul Isaac Pelavin

Amazing Compassionate Open minded Knowledgeable Thorough Wonderful doctor

Dr. Pelavin is, to my knowledge, the absolute BEST pediatric endocrinologist in the entire NY Metro area. No other Peds Endo has as sound a plan in place to train his patient's families in managing type 1 diabetes. I believe his intention is not to lord over his patients like a know-it-all, but rather to TEACH his families the best way to manage a disease that is extremely precarious (and can, frankly, be deadly) during a child's growing years. He is all about helping each family understand the best ways of keeping their child OUT of the hospital and OUT of DKA. My son was diagnosed 9 years ago and he has never once been in DKA. That speaks not just to my abilities as a parent, but, to HIS abilities to train a person who knew NOTHING about this disease 9 years ago. I HIGHLY recommend him and his staff. They are THE. BEST.

If you are looking for an excellent pediatric endocrinologist in New Jersey Dr Pelavin is your doctor. His consultations are thorough, leaving no stone unturned. He spent at least an hour and a half with us. His knowledge is in depth and his recommendations and referrals are excellent. It is a privilege to be seen by him. The office staff is courteous as well.

Dr Pelavin is an excellent doctor. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and caring. He gives each patient ( and parent ) his undivided attention. We trust him completely with our daughter's care .
