Dr. Thorne is the epitome of what a children’s Dr./Surgeon should be. From the moment we met him, he advocated for our daughter Lily. He always explained things to us thoroughly, answered all our questions, was thoughtful and caring with Lily, and was patient with me when my Momma Bear came out in full force. Had the most wonderful experience ever with Dr.Thorne ! He should great interest in my little guy and he made me as a mother feel confident and secure. Couldn't be more Blessed by the path that led us to Dr. Thorne at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital. His care for our son has been everything we could pray for. The entire staff here is phenomenal and our experience with Dr. Thorne as our sons surgeon was A+. Thankful that this level of care is available to children and their families.

Dr.Thorne put our fears at ease before surgery and immediately after. He has a friendly demeanor and truly cares about our son. He is very down to Earth and a joy to be around. One of our favs.

Dr Thorne is whitty, down to earth and very professional all in one. He has been the best doctor we have ever had at Children's Hospital. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family. He knows his stuff and is very through and caring. He is my sons favorite also.

Dr Thorne was amazing! His bed side manner is funny, whit try, caring and compassionate. He's a great listener and very through. He explains everything so well. You leave with a great understanding.

I was very impressed with Dr. Thorne's bedside manner. I never felt that he did not give enough attention to my questions, in fact he even took time to ask if any of my siblings had questions and to answer them. He was very thorough answering questions and you could tell he really cared. It was very easy to schedule an appointment with him. aside from bedside manner i would say he is an excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend him to anyone. One of my favorite doctors i've ever had.
