l got a full hip replacement and we have a good communication Doctor toogood and all the staff in the Orthopedic at UCSF are very professional and really care about their patients we were in san francisco medical group and no body cares only pills once we switch to UCSF medical group everything change every clinic that UCSF has are so dedicated and care for patients with medical needs Thank you UCSF and thank you Doctor Toogood for all your care

Cannot say enough good things about this experience with Dr Toogood. He listens to you, goes to bat for you and ultimately presents as a reliable, comforting presence, in a tough time. I had the rare opportunity to be in the same situation with another doctor prior to eventually having the surgery... So I even have a point of comparison. Dr Toogood is one of those special doctors that is also a healer.

I came in to the UCSF ER with a broken Femur/hip from a cycling accident. I met Dr. Toogood the night before my surgery to repair the head of my Femur. His confidence was reassuring. Communication about the procedure was clear. It was obvious he had experience in my type of injury. Surgery was a success. I am still healing, but getting stronger every day. My follow up is this week to remove sutures and have a close look at results. Thank you Dr. Toogood

I've been very happy with the care I have received by Dr. Toogood and the entire medical team at UCSF. They have been happy to take the time to explain all of my options so I can make the best informed decision possible about my care and the service and care has been excellent.

He did a wonderful job on my Mother’s leg after a fall. The Surgical Nurses said he is the best.

How can a doctor with such a last name not be good!? Dr.Toogood is amazing! He clearly told me all the possible outcomes of my treatment, listened to my concerns and helped me choose the best course of action.

I saw another orthopedist a week later who looked at my x-rays and said the surgeon did an excellent job and I was fortunate to have had such an outstanding surgeon. This review is the only way I know of thanking an amazing doctor for doing such a good job on my hip.I hope you are lucky enough to have him help you. Dr. Toogood has been very communative and definitely gives the overall impression that he truly cares about his patients well being. As far as I can tell he has done a great job on my surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone that has a broken leg or arm.

Dr. Toogood and the rest of the Orthopaedic Trauma Institute team are simply amazing. Not only did they perform three major surgeries on my grandmother at Regional Medical Center and save her life, but they also genuinely cared about her postoperative care and recovery.
