Completely rude. ZERO bedside manner. Worst doctor, or human for that matter, I’ve ever come into contact with. Referred to my husband as “mellow yellow” and told me “my type A personality was to blame for my cervix opening” which is was what lead to the loss of my previous pregnancy. He has no empathy and does not want to help you if you want to be involved in your own treatment plan.

Arkansas is blessed to have this incredible doctor in our state. There is no way to thank this doctor enough for the many babies he has brought safely into this world. On behalf of the many mothers you have helped, Thank You, Dr Wendel for everything you do. Not only did Dr Wendel help my husband and I realize our dream of being parents after 4 years of struggle and loss and seeing fertility doctors in multiple states, he has now been responsible for saving my sister and her child’s life when doctors in Atlanta were unwilling to help. He guided our family in moving her to Little Rock at 20 weeks pregnant and gave her hope. That hope turned into a miracle. I hope every mother has a doctor like Dr Wendel as their OBGYN and if not him then one of the many he has trained.
