He’s so condescending. He asked my son what was wrong and my son started telling him then the dr interrupted him mid sentence and was completely rude to him. My son was looking to me for help so I started explaining his symptoms. This is not the first time this happened to us and it’s a shame because everyone else there is so wonderful. They need to get rid of him. Unfortunately you can’t pick who you see. If your child is sick, you get whoever is in the office that day.
We have seen him a handful of times when the other dr's are not available. He is very condescending and makes you feel like you don't know what you are talking about. When I told him that my brother in law was a dr, he said well why doesn't he give you a diagnosis then. Every question you ask him he might as well say "duh" at the end of his answer because that's how he makes you feel. My kids don't even like him. He needs to GO, I cannot believe he has been kept at that practice for so long!
We had a very pleasant experience with Dr fishkind. He kept my 9yr old at ease and the joking was very appropriate.

I've only met Dr. Fishkind once but I have nothing negative to say. He wasn't warm and fuzzy but he wasn't rude or condescending either. I'd see him again without a second thought.
Despite what other reviews may say, Dr. Fishkind was extremely helpful and professional and his jokes lightened the mood a bit, he was very kind and not condescending in the least.
Condescending, rude, makes jokes to serious questions, not helpful advice, and he rolled his eyes at me while asking a question about my child. He is the sole reason we left old tappan pediatrics.
