This ER physician mumbled when he spoke and did not explain anything that was going to be done for my husband's pneumonia. He thought my husband had radiation and chemo but I gave him all his correct medical history. Worst ER physician I've ever had to deal with. My husband has a complicated history but he didn't seem interested in listening.
Bad experience with this doctor. He "treated" our 13 year old in the E.R. and had the worst bedside manner I've ever. Didn't greet us, tell us his name....he came in and said my daughter's name. That's it. Then he took her temperature and walked out. He didn't give us any information and he acted irritated that we were even there. It sure didn't help my daughter's comfort level. We asked for a different doctor but he was the only doctor available, unfortunately. I won't use Barnes St. Peters emergency again so I don't have to get that rude and crabby doctor.

I went to BJC ER and was billed by both BJC and Wash U. Now a 3rd bill from Dr. Peter Gardiner. I don't even recall seeing this Dr at BJC in St. Peters and he billed my insurance $1559.00

Went to the hospital for my son who seemed to be having trouble breathing. Dr. Gardiner was assigned to u. He maybe saw my son for two minutes in the 3.5 hours that we were there and during those two minutes he grunted a few times and mumbled a few words. After being told we could leave we had to catch the nurse and ask what was wrong with our son they were going to discharge us without evening telling us what was wrong or what to do. The Doctor is not part of BJC St. Peters and he didn't tell us that so we received an additional bill in addition to the $1100 ER bill for his services. He charged us $800 for the two minutes that he spent with our son to listen to his chest. I feel that he should have told us he wasn't connected to the hospital so he would be billing us in addition to the hospital bill.
