Dr Sallay has preformed 2 different surgeries for myself. He is very knowledgeable and a great guy. Pam, his nurse is very passionate as well, very sweet. Stuart is very kind and is a great partner to Dr Sallay. Would highly recommend this team

I have had Dr. Sallay do an ACL, right shoulder, & left shoulder surgery for me over the last 7 or 8 years. He and the entire staff at Methodist Sports Medicine are phenomenal!!! That is why I have been to him every time!!!!

This is the second time Dr. Sallay has helped me out. This time was a significant tear of the rotator cuff. Surgery went great and rehab was as smooth as possible. 3 months post op I started throwing and played softball in a national tournament 4 months post op. I am a law enforcement officer and in order to continue in my employment I have to be able to use my arm 100 percent. Dr. Sallay fixed my shoulder problem with surgery and I am able to return to full duty status. The alternative would have been retirement before I had planned to. The best part is that he gives you a video of the procedure and he does a voice over of every move he makes with his instrument. His nurse Sara was a pleasure to work with as well as his PA Stewart. I would recommend anyone with a shoulder problem to see Dr Sallay first or for a second opinion. Dr. Sallay is the best doctor I’ve ever had in my life. He is warm, caring, very outgoing, and kind. He is an extremely gifted physician and surgeon. I cannot write enough positive comments about Dr. Sallay. He truly is a gift to the medical profession!

Dr. Sallay did a wonder job on my ACL repair. I am 3 weeks out, making great progress and my incision is barely noticeable. His bedside manner is great. You don’t feel rushed to ask questions. He seems very kind, calm and caring! Some doctors are just reassuring and going into surgery during Covid, I felt like I was in great hands. Methodist Sports was an excellent facility to have surgery and my overnight experience was exceptional!!

Dr. Sallay is the best in the area.

Dr. Sallay successfully reattached my hamstrings, so when I needed rotator cuff surgery, I returned to him. There are ortho surgeons much closer to home; however, my prior experience with him, his staff, physical therapy department, and the Carmel facility made the 5-hour round trip "no big deal." My shoulder had more damage than indicated on the MRI done locally. Surgery was successful again; expect to be released at the 6-month evaluation. Another wonderful experience!! Highly recommend.

I had chronic pain in my shoulder before seeing Dr. Sallay. After an evaluation, he thoroughly explained what was wrong and my treatment options. I ended up having surgery. A few days before the surgery, Dr. Sallay personally called me to see if I had any additional questions or concerns. Doctors never do that these days, so it was very much appreciated. My issue was completely resolved. Recovery was shorter than expected and follow-up was also thorough. Outstanding, very knowledgeable doctor.

Absolutely amazing doctor! Dr. Sally was my second opinion doctor but he ended up performing my surgery. He is very knowledgeable and was able to explain things in a way that made sense. Surgery went good and even the post op was not as bad as I expected. Great experience for me all around!

Dr Sallay helped me by injecting a cortisone shot into one of my my shoulders in January 2012. It was an excellent solution. The pain disappeared quickly and it did not return for many years. He was a calm, kind and caring doctor. I saw him after I visited another doctor at Methodist for the same problem. There was a huge difference in care and concern between the two doctors. I recommend Dr. Sallay.

Needed a qualified surgeon to repair my proximal hamstring injury, which is rare. Found Dr. Sallay through a Facebook page for this injury. Was extremely impressed with him, the staff and the facility at Methodist Sports Medicine. He is humble, caring, and one of the best in the world for repairing this injury. So thankful I found him. He always explains things thoroughly and my appointments never feel rushed.

Dr. Sallay performed shoulder surgery on me 3 years ago and went back in recently to clean things up a bit. I believe Dr. Sallay is a top-notch surgeon. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing shoulder surgery. Not only do I feel he is an exceptional surgeon but he seems to be a great guy in genera and his bedside manners are excellent as well. Dr. Sallay is the consummate profession and will take the time to make you at ease and answer every question you have and listens as well.
