My wife just started seeing Dr Turk, but I was impressed the first time he met with us. He was reassuring, great bedside manner, and let us know there is a plan of attack. This is the kindest, most compassionate general surgeon I've ever encountered in 30 years in the field. From your wait time in office to your surgical plan, he has your comfort in mind. I am new to the Charlotte-Ballantyne area. I was diagnosed w/ TNBC. The worst form of BC. I was referred to Dr. Turk by my wonderful nurse navigator, Lisa. I cannot say enough divine things about this kind and gifted doctor. Dr. Turk has been blessed with the gift of healing. He's is definitely one of God's angels and I trust him [& his surgical plastic surgeon partner, Dr. B. Wormer] with my life! Dr.Turk and his staff truly treat the whole patient. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and he did an amazing job. He always asks how your doing even when you see his PA, his assistant is always friendly and is great at her job as well. He is highly recommended by other surgeons and doctors that we know.

I had a recent procedure with Dr. Turk, being in the healthcare field made me a bit concerned from knowing too much. I am so happy I waited to see Dr. Turk for my breast issue. He is incredibly professional, caring and a talented surgeon! I highly recommend him for breast health and surgery.

Amen to all of these comments. Dr. Turk and Carter are an amazing team. I was diagnosed with breast cancer April 13 th..2020. Met with Dr Turk right away. Yes so gentle and caring. Had surgery ...went very well. After care with his PA Carter...wonderful as well. I’m in great hands. Novant has been amazing through my entire journey.

Fantastic doctor and staff. Makes you feel comfortable.

This is a very caring practice. Everyone I came in contact with was concerned for my concerns, aware of the need for privacy, and informative in a way I could understand. I felt very cared-for through the entire process.

Dr. Turk did my surgery and I had no pain or scarring. A great surgeon.

My mother is now cancer free and is 83 years old. Dr. Turk and his staff are the most compassionate and professional, kind and caring people that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I cannot say enough kind words about all of them.

Dr. Turk and Carter were awesome . They listened to my concerns and understood my worries of having to have a diagnostic mammogram and while there another place showed up that I didn't know about and this had me worried .Dr. Turk is also my daughter's doctor and she wanted me to see him bc he helped her when she found out she had breast cancer and the thing she said she loved about Dr. Turk was that he prayed for her before she went in for her surgery and being a Christian herself this made her feel 100 percent better about her surgery. Dr. Turk performed a full mastectomy with nipple sparring. Dr. Nyame performed reconstruction along side Dr. Turk. I am so blessed to have found these amazing surgeons. Not only are they great human beings, they are extremely talented surgeons.

Dr. Turk did my gall bladder surgery years ago. He is absolutely the best, a kind wonderful doctor and man. I was recommending him to a friend just now and wanted to write a review.

My experience with Dr. Turk began in November 2016. He met with my family and I several times before my surgery in December. He is extremely patient and has a calming demeanor. In addition, he has a very good bedside and professional attitude. I'm very blessed to have the experience of having him as my surgeon. I have and will definitely continue recommending Dr.Turk to others.

I interviewed 3 surgeons and chose Dr. Turk because he was very patient, kind, caring and thorough. All 3 surgeons recommended the same course of action, but Dr. Turk took time to follow up personally after initial consult and made me feel very well taken care of during a challenging time in my life. Although I have been cancer free for the last 8 years, if I were to have a reoccurance, I would go back to Dr. Turk.

Very friendly.... I went to him as an second opinion and could not have asked for anyone better. He took time to answer all of my questions, explaining everything about the procedures and what to expect. He put me at ease with the decisions we were making. He called me personally to give me the results from the pathology report.

Dr. Turk is an excellent surgeon! His decision not to perform unnecessary surgery on me four years ago was the best one! A great example for the medical profession to follow! A true physician!

He was more concerned about who was going to pay the bill than about the patients problems and concerns. I thought it was sort of strange. My bills have always been paid. I will be looking for another Doctor.
