Peter D Wilkinson

Dr Wilkinson is extremely pretentious and rude. I had him for several years after searching around for psychiatric care. After visiting him for a while he started to seem extremely judgmental and does not respect personal decisions if he believes they are wrong. His viewpoint on certain treatments and medications is extremely biased and opinionated. Do not waste your time at this place like I did.

Very little Communication with parents regarding diagnosis, treatment plan. Office staff does not have organization especially regarding scheduling for Counselor Heather pineda who seems to make her own schedule, which then causes "no shows" that arent actually accurate. After they referred her elsewhere for more intense treatment, not a call or email with an explanation, an apology for referring her to another facility. Her Medication list was incorrect. She is now suffering from ptsd from Harbor Oaks facility in new Boston Michigan. This is so incredibly disheartning to me and my husband, as we want only the best treatment for her, especially after caring for my child's mental health for 2 years. She needed them, the familiar safe people, they did not respond to her calls for help.

Dr. Wilkinson is positively the best child psychiatrist we have ever encountered. I owe him a debt of gratitude for what he’s done for my daughter over the last 5+ years!

Excellent doctor. He saved my life. I have only great things to say about this man

Brilliant, informed, kind.

I've been trying to get into Dr. Wilkinson for months. Unfortunately the office staff doesn't maintain a wait list, or cancellation list. I've just been told to "try again later". Frankly hopeful Dr. Wilkinson will see this and have someone reach out to make an apt.

I've been seeing dr wilkinson for 10 years. He is truly a awesome guy! He is the only person I trust when it comes to my mental health. I'm super picky about my doctors. I highly recommend him.
