DR. CORRADO IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I WOULD GIVE DR. CORRADO MORE STARS, IF ALLOWED. HE WAS A GREAT COMMUNICATOR, AND HE SYMPETHETICALLY UNDERSTOD WHAT I WAS EXPERIENCING EMOTIONALLY. AS HIS PATIENT, HE WAS PHUSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY AVAILABLE. HE ALLOWED ME TO GET RID OF HARMFUL EMOTIONAL GARBAGE ( I WAS ABLE TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH). DR. CORRADO PROCEEDED TO TEACH ME THE TOOLS, I NEEDED TO SURVIVE MY SITUATION. A MILLION STARS AND THANKS TO DR. CORRADO.

Dr. Corrado and his support staff are truly amazing. They are patient, kind, and never seem bothered by any questions you may have. After my diagnosis, Dr. Corrado took the time for go over my entire report and address any concerns I had. When I needed specific forms filled out for class, his staff was very diligent about having the form correctly filled out and prompt about getting them back to a me.

Dr. Corrado is one of the best doctors in the field. His number one concern is his patience. He makes himself available to his patience 200%. He is just that good. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a therapist who cares about his patients>money.

I was referred to Dr. Corrado by a colleague. She prepared me by telling me that I was about to dive deep into issues that have affected my relationships with others and more importantly myself. Dr. Corrado is extremely cerebral. He is well versed in psychology and philosophy and most of what he can carry on about is way over anyone’s head but he is able to explain things in a way that can make sense to just about anyone. He knows how to piece together parts of your psyche with past experiences that truly seems like a work of art. You don’t have to suffer from some debilitating mental illness to work and sort out your issues. Sometimes it takes a brilliant psychotherapist to help you see how your subconscious makes its way to the surface without you even knowing it. Seeing Dr. Corrado is undoubtedly the best decision I’ve made. He’s not for the simple minded but if you care to explore your inner psyche he is definitely the one you want in the passenger seat, helping you navigate.

I saw Dr. Corrado last week for a psych eval before having an implant for spinal pain management. Let's just say he wasn't what I thought a psychologist would be like. I thought he would be sitting on one side of a desk and me on the other. Perhaps wearing a white coat, or not. But what I found was no desk or white coat. He sat on the couch, slumped down practically laying on it, eating pretzels the entire time I was there! I was across the room on a chair. I understand the no desk thing; to put the patient at ease, but like that? He never introduced himself, but I will give him credit for offering me a pretzel. He spoke so fast, I had to remind him several times to speak slower as I was hearing disabled. I found out later that his eyesight is so bad he can't write, so he records the visit now and then. I ended up interviewing him at times which I thought was amusing. So if you are considering seeing him, there is nothing to be nervous about.

I came to Dr. Corrado with severe anxiety and panic attacks. He has helped me to understand the source and effective ways to manage my anxiety. He is very professional and an expert. I am very thankful for my experience with Dr. Corrado.

Dr. Corrado remembers my story in great detail; it is extremely comforting that he knows MY history as he treats me. He is very patient when it takes me many times to get a point or to improve even a little. Dr. Corrado makes me feel safe as we work together.

Appointment with Dr. Corrado was for Psych Evaluation; Pre-op Bariatric surgery. Dr. Corrado explained what was necessary before and after surgery; diet and exercise that is necesssary. Dr. Corrado is an interesting INDIVIDUAL...unlike most drones that work in Health Care. Images of Einstein, Plato and Freud are showcased in his office. Dr Corrado understands the original definition of psychology...which is the study of the SOUL. Also the staff at Synovation Medical Group are BOTH professional and friendly.

I enjoyed working with Dr. Corrado and his staff. My son was assessed and diagnosed with a specific learning disablilty.

I seen Dr. Corrado for the first time today. My insurance requested I see him for bariatric surgery, and I was so please with my visit. My psych evaluation went great. Dr. Corrado is very professional and really makes you feel at ease. I was a little nervous in the beginning, but he really listened to me and made me feel comfortable. I definitely recommend him! He’s a great listener!

I found Dr. Corrado after researching providers covered by my insurance. This was my third time trying out a therapist and I feel like I hit the jackpot. Dr. Corrado was an excellent fit for my needs and I truly appreciated his approach and knowledge. He helped me understand and make sense of some deep routed issues that impeded my daily function.

Dr. Phillip was recommended by my Insurance and they have him listed in San Diego and there is an 858 phone number associated. I called and left my number for call back through the system and after a couple hours I called back and someone picked up. When I explained that I was never called back by the system the lady explained, "yeah; that system does what it wants" and was not very caring. I then was told that Dr. Phillip does not practice at 15725 Pomerado Rd Ste 210 nor do any other docs.

Dr. Corrado was very helpful and went the extra mile to help us. Thorough, professional, kind.

He was a referral through my insurance for pre-clearance before a medical procedure/surgery. He failed to listen to my answers to his pro-forma questions and his medical report was full of both simple factual errors (incorrectly reported my sibling count, for instance) and incorrect assumptions that were quite contrary to the answers he was given. I visited another provider who actually listened and completed the report accurately.

I saw five therapists in the LA area before finding Dr. Corrado. What distinguishes him is that he's committed to helping his patients get better, he's passionate about his field, keeps up-to-date on the latest studies and he's kind. He's the only therapist I've seen who had an impact on my healing process. It's not just a job for him. He cares, he advocates, he remembers the details that matter in your life. You want to see a therapist who found his calling, believe me. It makes a difference.

I found Dr. Corrado very knowledgeable about PTSD symptoms and found he was very easy to share my feelings with him.

Dr. Corrado is good people and offers some interesting paradigms and perspectives about the human condition. Unlike many health care professionals I have experienced, he tends toward structured compassion and support rather than judgement and condescension. I look forward to learning more from this kind and intelligent man.
