He is very professional, especially when explaining plan of care,procedures, and benefits and risks of same. He inspires confidence.

Medically, I am not an easy patient. I have unexplainably complicated eyes, and Dr. Ehrlich has never questioned my saying that or made me feel like I was over exaggerating. When my glaucoma specialist unexpectedly moved away, I found Dr. E, and he immediately made me comfortable and felt like I was a true person, not just another patient. He is not quick to jump to surgery. He knows all the medicinal routes to take first, and he tries them. He allowed me to wait to do my cataract surgery until i knew it was time, and though it was a bit more complicated than we wanted, he got the job done. Now I face another complication with my glaucoma, and he made sure we tried all the meds we could. He explained in detail the upcoming surgery and I am going to have, and he explained why he chose this one. I feel confident in trusting my eyes to him. I have faith he would not compromise my sight for something he does not believe will work. As for the staff at the Eye Medical Center, I have had the most pleasant encounters with each and every person there. They have over a dozen doctors to manage, and they do it well and do it with a well oiled system. yes, there are some hang ups that happen, but i could only dream of having every doctor I see have this good an office. Dr Ehrlich is awesome, and so was his staff. He removed two cataracts and did my implant procedures for two multi-focal lenses. It could not have went better. It hasn't been a year yet, and I never even need readers. My vision tested at 20/20 in both eyes at the last two follow up visits. The person who left the one star review is nuts... He even stated the doctor was great! This was supposed to be a review on the doctor! Dr Ehrlich is awesome, and so was his staff. My experience with the Eye Medical Center was 100% positive. They are a busy facility, but they handle the flow of patients well. The staff was courteous, professional, and efficient. I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Ehrlich. He took the time to address all of my concerns and answer questions, and I am totally satisfied with the outcome of the lens replacement he did on both my eyes. All of this said, I have to add that some people (like the person leaving the negative review in ALL CAPS) need to realize that the world doesn’t revolve around them. Evidently, such people have no patience when things fail to go the way they think they should go, and they seemingly they think their time is more valuable or important than anyone else’s. Be absolutely positive that before any eye surgery the anesthetist is made aware of any an all of your medical conditions and that it is made crystal clear that you DO NOT want to feel any pain or wake up during the procedure. {speaking from experience}

DR. EHLRIC IS GREAT BUT I AM AMAZED AT HOW SOME BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS, INCLUDING SOME DR. OFFICES, STAY IN BUSINESS THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AT EYE MEDICAL CENTER. FOR APPOINTMENTS, THE EYE MEDICAL CENTER IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST TO GET THROUGH TO ON THE PHONE. I ALWAYS GET A RECORDING AND PUT ON HOLD FOR 5-15 MINUTES. I AM NOT A DOCTOR, BUT A BUSY PROFESSIONAL, NONE THE LESS, NOT TO MENTION I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER. MY TIME SHOULD BE RESPECTED. He's a great doctor who explains conditions concisely. He does not make the patient feel awkward when in examination (so close and face-to-face) and takes his time with the patient. I've been his patient for three years and they have been three years of satisfaction.
