Dr. Philip Andrew Cornell Saragoza

Dr. Saragoza is hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever had. I've been in and out of therapy since I was in 5th grade and always felt like something was missing. I have used unhealthy coping strategies for so long that our work together felt super odd at first in the sense that I was actually feeling better and learning new healthy strategies and ways of thinking about things. His style of therapy was so beneficial for me and made me feel empowered while also recognizing it's okay to mess up/ be human. I will forever be grateful that I stumbled across his profile and made that phone call. Our work together truly changed my life for the better and I can't say enough just how appreciative I am.

Dr. Saragoza is simply a fantastic psychiatrist. His expert knowledge of psychiatry and psychiatric medication combined with his ability to create a trusting, professional relationship that empowers the patient to be an active participant in their care and self improvement process is truly a rarity. Dr. S shows genuine concern of the person, encouraging and celebrating milestones along the way. In the past 30 years I have had the opportunity to work with a number of psychiatrists and Dr. S is hands down, the most caring, knowledgeable, creative, attentive and supportive doctor that I have seen. His ability to explain diagnoses, medication options, care plans and his approach - making the client an active participant in the process - is a recipe for a successful, positive outcome. Dr. S creates a safe environment to share intimate details of their life when they are most vulnerable and respectfully explores these disclosures. I highly recommend, without reservation, Dr. S!

Dr S is the best. He treated our family with respect and abundant caring. Both my son and I found his approach to be a perfect balance of easy to talk to and incredibly professional. He would explain things to me in a way I could follow. I had absolute confidence in his ideas and his treatment was so on point. He used talk therapy and made prescription updates for me. I saw him for more than a year. He changed my life. I was anxious, over functioning and extremely hard on myself. Now I'm calm and happy. After I had completed therapy, he made sure I had all of his contact information and assured me I was welcome to contact him anytime. He said he always keeps the same email, and I should feel free to reach out if needed. i'm not sure what else a person could ask for.

Dr. Saragoza is very professional but yet very personable and caring. His expertise, compassion, and motivation to help was far and above better then the other psychiatrists that I have experienced. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Saragoza is the best psychiatrist I have ever had, hands down. He is very attentive, thorough and caring. He takes the time to talk with you each meeting, almost like a therapy session, and get to know you rather than just simply prescribing. I think gives him a fuller picture of the patient and allows him to very thoughtfully create a medication plan. With other psychiatrists I have had (and there have been many!), it almost felt at times like they were just guessing at what to prescribe. He also is very good with keeping on top of prescription refills and visits, even without a secretary or receptionist. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Dr. Saragoza is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever had. He knows how to explain anxiety and depression from the psychological and biological perspective which I really appreciated. Other psychiatrists I've had were able to help me to an extent, however, Dr. Saragoza is the first one to give me a sense of independence and confidence in my own ability to help myself overcome obstacles moving forward. He is clearly passionate and an expert in his field. I recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Saragoza went above and beyond my expectations; and is hands down the best psychiatrist I've ever been to. He went beyond medicine management and spent time getting to know me and my history. He's patient and understanding; and always willing to work with your schedule. I felt like he genuinely cared about my well-being. In addition to medicine management he gave me resources to manage my mental health holistically.He's a genuinely caring person and extremely knowledgeable.Highly recommend!

Dr. Saragoza was hands-down the best psychiatrist/therapist I've ever been to. His unique holistic style of balancing medication therapy and cognitive therapy has helped me understand my condition and coping with anxious thoughts on a daily basis. His extensive medical knowledge/expertise and ability to understand the patient's point of view have made him an instrumental figure in helping me recover from my anxiety. It's a shame that I'm moving because I wish I could continue seeing him.

I've tried over a nearly twenty year period of coming to terms with anxiety, previously traumatic events, and depression. With Dr. Saragoza he combined medication and talk therapy to successfully bring things under control (after having seen multiple therapists throughout this period) and resulted in the only success I've had in all this time. Without a doubt I'd have to say this is someone who got into what he does to help people and he really succeeds.

Doctor Saragoza is the first and thus far ONLY doctor to finally get to the root of my anxiety issue and also start improving my, life by at the same time relieving my depression. I actually enjoy waking up every morning now! He literally has changed my life. So many other doctor's have thrown miscellaneous medications at me without really knowing them and have made the situation worse. His remarkable knowledge of medicine has been well used to find the right combinations for me! THANK YOU!!!
