My recent appointment with Dr.Young was handled with the same efficiency and professionalism that I have experienced in his office over the years. My procedure started on time and was well done. I would definitely recommend Dr. Young.

This place is absolutely terrible. They didn’t tell me price or the fact that they didn’t accept my insurance. It costed over 300$ for a cleaning. I highly recommend you DONT come to this place.

BEWARE OF THIS DENTAL OFFICE. My brother came in for a ROOT CANAL as per suggestion of another office. He made it evident to the dentist he needs a root canal but the dental office recommended giving him a cleaning and xrays even though he previously got xrays and that’s how he knows he needs a root canal. After the cleaning the dentist said “we don’t do root canals i’ll refer you to someone else.” They then proceeded to ask him for $230 dollars. My brother said he has insurance, he told the receptionist when he made the appointment. After services were done they told him “we don’t take your insurance you need to pay” If she had told him we don’t take your insurance he would have looked for another dental office. DO NOT GO HERE! He is a preferred dentist for my dental insurance. Insurance declined a cavity claim per the contract he has with the insurance carrier he is not entitled to collect payment from me. He is refusing to believe the insurance contract that he signed and is now threatening collections. He also is refusing to even talk to me and goes through his hygienist to threaten me with collections for non payment. Also good luck trying to get a hold of anyone on the phone. He does not have a receptionist so anytime you want to call to schedule an appointment/discuss bill's/etc you will have to leave a voicemail and wait for them to call you back which is never the same day. Complete lack of professionalism! 8.4.2020 Response: Thank you Dr Young for reminding me to update the facts. Based on the other reviews, there seams to be a common theme of unethical billing at your practice. The facts are simple, you refused to speak with me about the bill and threatened to send to collections. I (reluctantly) paid the bill in full and further pursued the issue through my insurance, Delta Dental. Delta Dental determined that you billed for the same surface more than once within a 12 month period and so you were NOT eligible to receive a 2nd reimbursement per the contract YOU signed with Delta Dental. The insurance sent your several notices informing you that you were in breach of contract and to send a reimbursement check back to me. After you ignored the notices and did not send a refund, Delta Dental withheld the amount of my reimbursement from your current reimbursement schedule and sent me a check in FULL for the unethical and fraudulent billing charge. My wife and I were patients here for at least the last 5-6 years. While the work done is satisfactory, getting any emergent work done can be like "pulling teeth". I unfortunately have bad teeth so many times I have been in need of appointments that needed to be seen sooner then 2 months from the time of the phone call. They have seen me on a few occasions when the need has come up but I've also had to go elsewhere to have work done in a timely manner. I say we were patients because as of today I will not go back to this place. This week I had a cleaning and was told, yet again, that I needed another crown. Now while I have dental insurance the amount covered is limited. I can basically get a crown done a year and have it covered under my insurance, which seems to be done every year. When they tried to schedule my appointment for a crown I was told they didn't have anything available until February of next year. That really causes me problems because I will without a doubt need another crown next year. I set up the appointment and asked to be put on the list of people called in the event of a cancelation. Fast forward two days later and my wife happens to mention to me that this office is closing next week for 1.5 months so they can visit family. I was saddened to hear this because while I can appreciate keeping your family safe during these times of Covid, I am still a patient and a consumer in need of services. I called the office to confirm this and was told that it didn't make sense for the "Dentist business model" to keep the office open during this time since they were unable to fill all the appointment slots. I told the secretary that I was sad to hear that and since I doubted they would be able to get me in after their break i would probably be having the work done elsewhere. I was polite and well mannered during the whole call. Shortly after the call ended I received a call from Dr Young. Dr Young was upset that I threatened to go somewhere else, which I didn't say as a threat simply a fact of business. He stated his secretary felt threatened and upset by my phone call and he himself was deeply disturbed that I could not understand the need to keep his family safe. That his family lived in Canada and he needed to quarantine for 2 weeks to visit them. Frankly, I don't give a damn where he is from, sorry to say. I am a patient and a consumer and you Dr Young closing your business for 1.5 months to go visit your parents may work for you but it doesn't for your patients. We have parted ways after this phone call and I will be seeing a different dentist from now on, one that hopefully puts the needs of their patients first, as this one does not. I have been going to Dr. Young for a while. He does great work and is on time with his appointments. His office is a bit far for me, but I feel his work is worth traveling the extra distance. I would definitely recommend him!

Great service and the best staff!

Great dentist, amazing office, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were very clean. Location is convenient with plenty of parking. I highly recommend Dr. Young’s dentistry.

The people here really make coming here special. Dr. Young is highly skilled and generally a really great guy. NEVER ANY PAIN! Not sure how he does it. His entire staff is made up of wonderful people that you would want to just hang out with. Comfortable, pleasant and relaxing is the way I'd describe my experience here for 10 years!

If you are looking for the best of the best look no further. Dr. Young and his wonderful support staff have been taking care of me for many years. They use the lasted techniques available, no pain, extremely clean care area and are just awesome people... so caring.

I have never been to any doctor or dentist that is more on time than this one. Dr. Young himself is fantastic and all of the hygienists are great. I have had the same hygienist since I started there and she has remembered me and all we've talked about. Really great people 10/10

Super nice staff, explains everything that is happening while you are in the chair, and checks on your throughout your appointment ensuring that you're comfortable. Usually leave a voicemail with my concern/question and get a call back within a few hours. Would (and have) recommended this practice to my family and friends.

I had a front tooth replaced— it is 3 shades darker than my other teeth and expensive He seems more interested in talking with his staff and availability is 4 days a week

Arrived for my appointment on time and was taken in right away. Had cleaning & exam, discussed a molar with a visible crack, but Dr. Young said I could wait until it gives me trouble - wasn't pushy about doing something right away. With his modern equipment, he showed me exactly what was going on with that tooth. I have referred friends and they are also happy.

I just had my teeth cleaned and as always had a great experience. The hygienist and Dr. Young were both friendly and professional. Would highly recommend this dentist.

I love this office. Scheduling is impeccable, I never have to wait more than 5 minutes before, after or during appointments. Dr. Young is very nice and always professional and he is very good at what he does. I used to grind my teeth at night and wore the enamel off my molars. I used to need them coated every 6 months or so. It has been years since his last treatment and I have had no pain or sensitivity.

Did not realize this dentist was out of network, however the office was aware. Recommended a full work up with xrays & panoramic xrays. I should have been made aware that I would receive a bill for all these extras when xrays were taken. Shysters!

I would recommend Dr. Young's practice to a friend. They are reliably on time, do good work, and don't try to upsell you on things that you don't need.

Close to home. Great service. Friendly and professional staff. Love the gentle reminders for upcoming appointments by text and email.

Recently had to have a filling underneath a crown. Dr. Young was gentle and the new crown is great. My husband and I also like the hygenists that clean our teeth. It is a good experience to be in their care.

Have been going to Dr. Young for about 10 years. All services are performed extremely well. Staff is very friendly and professional. It is the very best place to have a crown done. The entire procedure is completed in one visit lasting about an hour. No temporary crown and multiple appointments necessary.

I have been a patient of Dr. Young's since we returned to the Buffalo area 13 years ago. All appointments have been on time, any necessary procedures adequately explained and promptly scheduled. The office atmosphere has been pleasant and friendly. Most importantly, the quality of the work has been excellent.

BEWARE OF THIS DENTIST. I am a former patient. He likes to order crowns that he charges almost $1,000 for (and happens to make right in his office). One tooth with his crown cracked and I had to have the tooth extracted. Another crown lasted only about two years and he was glad to re-do it - at full cost to me. (BTW - My new dentist stands by his work and guarantees all his crowns for five years - no questions asked!). ALSO, WATCH OUT FOR VERY UNETHICAL BILLING PRACTICES - like adding charges after you get service or giving you so-called "upgrades" that your insurance doesn't cover. Never mentioned any of these extra costs on the date of service! Lastly, when I had an urgent dental issue, they offered me an appointment about six weeks away (A month and a half!!) He refused to see me sooner. This is when I got a new dentist who saw the clinical urgency and fixed my problem in 24 hours! I would never recommend this dentist!!! BEWARE OF THIS DENTIST. Went to this dentist for eleven years; it was never the friendliest office, but they got you out quickly. I recently pulled my entire family from this practice when they decided to send my daughter's bill to collections after only thirty days (she's twenty, so it's in her name). When they called me to take care of it over the phone, I told them I hadn't received a physical bill yet, and didn't want to pay it until I received one and had cleared it with her dad, who holds the insurance. She asked again if I wanted to take care of it on the phone, and I reiterated that I would like to see a bill first. And bam--they sent it to collections. It was promptly paid, and I wrote them a letter asking them to call or email to discuss, and if they would waive the additional feels considering that we'd been patients for so long and I'd always paid every bill on time; the letter was ignored and the collections letters kept coming. Risking my daughter's good credit isn't worth $38 so I paid it, but apparently it's worth more to this office than an eleven-year relationship with four patients. II'm disgusted that I even went there as long as I did if this is how much they care about their patients. I have been going to Dr Young for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly and I have never had to wait for over 10 minutes. The same great lady has been cleaning my teeth for at least 5 years and she is thorough and efficient.

I'm 56 years old and my family and I have been going to Dr. Young's for 5-years. This dental office (staff, hygienist and doctor) is far and away the best we have ever encountered. Beautiful facility, skilled hygienist and a pleasant, amazingly talented and extremely proficient dentist in Doctor Young. There is never an issue....short wait times (if any), no "attitudes" and the best....most consistent care anyone could expect. Always a pleasant & satisfying experience.
