I am a patient of Dr Desai. He is a thorough and competent physician. I trust him with my care.

The worst office staff I have ever encountered would never be seen by this office. go elsewhere for your health!

I will never go back. Saw this guy in October for sleep apnea. Did an at home sleep study that was ordered by my family doctor. Go see Desai, wait two hours....he had to step out, whatever. Saw my results, orders me a cpap, ok. The cpap people contact me two months later saying they are not going to move forward with me as they can not get a hold of Desai. They need a copy of my sleep study and for two months they haven't gotten a hold of him. He can't be reached. I leave a vulgar message with his answering service that at least gets him to call the CPAP folks back only to tell them he doesn't have my sleep study despite him looking at it in front of me to diagnose me. He leaves a message with me telling me this malarkey as well. I was done with this fool so I go to my family doctor to get them to print out a copy of my study and I sent it myself. I wish I would have read these reviews before I made this appointment. Instead I read them while I was in the exam room as I waited for about 45mins…..it was an uncomfortable experience. He doesn’t close the exam door when he’s with a patient, not with me nor the patients before me, so I was able to hear everything in the exam room next to me while I was waiting to be seen. He didn’t bother to call me to go over my sleep lab results. I had to call the sleep lab itself for the results. So I then called his office for next steps about three weeks ago now. The woman on the phone said he would call me back. Never did. So thanks. I will be going elsewhere for further care. I wish I would have read these reviews before I made this appointment. Saw this doctor earlier today. I wish I could give zero (0) stars. Doctor is very rude he literally had a whole argument with me about the covid vaccine and he told me if I was to get sick with covid not to come to him I won't be seen. He basically told me I'm going to die if I don't get vaccinated. He told me I'm making the wrong choice. He just kept going on and on about it even when I walked out of the examination room. Like if he feels so strongly about the unvaccinated he should just refuse us as patients instead of trying to push the vaccine. He made me feel so uncomfortable he doesn't know how to talk to people. Won’t even call him a doctor he was disrespectful told me if I didn’t get COVID vaccine and I got sick not to come to the main hospital because “we’re not taking care of you ” was yelling at me saying “you’re going to die” I will NEVER ever refer nor will I be going back. These people have no idea what they are talking about the woman who called me was very very rude. I would not suggest this sleep doctor to anyone.

If i can leave no starts i would, this doctor met my husband in the general hospital, my husband who recently passed away there, never ever complains about his doctors or service, well, to make things short, he absolutely despised this doctor, he wanted to switch, no bedside manner, very abrupt , no sense of humor, just down right rude. I hope this letter makes you change your attitude towards your patients, since they are the one's that pay your bill, i will never every recommend you to any one looking for a pulmonary doctor. Wife called in for a prescription and he never gave pharmacy the dosage so she can't pick up what she needs to help her breath and have no way to get in contact with him because his receptionist quit

Great visit. Receptionists were very nice and talkative. Dr visit went well. Was very satisfied when I left. Feel so much better knowing my issues will be resolved.

Very grateful that Dr. Desai treated my Mother in 2018 for COPD. She recovered from that exasperation. We got an extra year to spend with her because of his help.

Too bad you can't leave a review with no stars. If you are seeking a professional, knowledgeable physician this is not the doctor you are looking for. I wouldn't recommend to anyone, my opinion he shouldn't have a license to practice medicine.

Well I prayed has he told me to. Do you say that as a Dr and be proud? During a 14 day hospital for Dad I spoke to him twice. In the beginning and the last day. He never returned my calls and when I confronted him he said well I need to spend time with my family too and I only will talk to you if you are the nurses station. This guy and his staff are awful. I went to him for sleep apnea. We had the initial appointment and he talks me into waiting to have the test done for about a month. Then recommends that I do a take home sleep study which takes about another month and a half to get done. Then they first tell me that I should have the results in a week or so. Three weeks later and still no results. I call to complain and find out what’s going on and his stall member keeps throwing it in my face that I signed a convent form that says the results may take up to a month. Ok no problem. Finally I get the results back and have to go for an over night study. Well I come to find out that the Dr is opening his own sleep lab and I will be one of the first patients. I firmly believe that I was intentionally put off so he can profit the most from me. An appointment was made for the overnight study. The day before I go in they changed the appointment to the following week. That same staff member tried using an excuse that there was a delay with my insurance. Well with some prodding in a conversation it slipped that the sleep lab was not ready. Here we are the day of my newly scheduled appointment and I don’t even get a call to confirm the appointment. I don’t even know where to go. Call the office at 2:00 on a Friday and they are gone for the weekend. My family dr was able to get ahold of them and they said there was another “problem” with the insurance. FIND ANOTHER DR. This one sucks. Zero stars are more appropriate. Run the other way, our doctor in Philadelphia said there was no reasonable explanation for the treatment my husband received from him. Frightening what he did with my husband. He is rude, arrogant and unprofessional.

Great guy.Just had lung biopsy he chose to perform the surgery himself I believe he really cares about his patients a lot

I am not happy with this DR and his receptionist is the most impolite person I have dealt with. I needed a new pulmonolgoly DR because mine retired and I was hospitalized. He had very little to say. I had to schedule a recheck and the receptionist was very rude. It only got worst at the office. Even the nurse from my insurance company agrees. I am looking for someone new If you want to be treated bad or like you don't exist this is the office for you

Don't bother , if you like follow up treatment

Pathetic, pitiful bedside manner with NO compassion. I actually fired him from taking take of my mom in the hospital and had Dr Martino take over.

I love Dr. Desai. He was very good and accurate with my diagnosis
