Caring Dr. Staff are great.

Con man. Wastes your time and charges you for it. Ignorant and only after the $$ Lisa is also very rude.

Doctor Salhotra has been my Doctor for the past 14 years. He is the only Doctor that myself and family wish to see for all our medical needs. He is Kind, Caring, Knowledgeable, Professional always! His staff is also very friendly, knowledgeable in the office department, and speedy to check in.

My husband have been going to this Doctor’s office for four years. Ms. Penny has given us exceptional service. She has gone above and beyond in the care of my husband.The office staff on the other hand is a different story. Heather is the rudest person I’ve ever met. She is so unprofessional. She acts like doing her job is doing me a favor. I’m going to find a different doctor because I don’t want to deal with her anymore. I am a veteran and my services was outsourced to this office also but I’m not willing to put up with this. My paperwork for my labs was found incorrectly. She said it was a doctor’s fault. The paperwork for referral for my mammogram didn’t get done it was somebody else’s fault. I’m done.

You will never find a better Doctor than Dr. Salhotra and the staff is Great. Miss them ALL!!

THE OFFICE NEVER CALLS YOU BACK & THEY ARE EXTREMELY RUDE. THE DOCTOR HIMSELF HAS WAY TOO MANY PATIENTS AND CANNOT GIVE PATIENTS THE TIME AND CARE THEY NEED! He was self serving. Failed to follow the law in amending inaccuracies in my records, a vital issue because if my impending SS Disability case. He threatened to drop me as a patient if I pressed the issue further by filing a complaint for inaccurate record keeping. He then retaliated by pretending not to see & find my very recently prescribed thyroid medicine. With a smirk on his face he said that he couldn't find it. So it was never renewed. I had been on thyroid meds for 3 continuous months prior, when my PA had left Dr Saholtra 's facility. I had to go elsewhere to get it.

Very thorough I have a lot of complex medical problems and he understood all of them and explained what to do clearly

I'm new with this doctor. I go in with medical records and reviews. Told by Dr. he won't dispense pain medicines (stated this was a Wellcare policy- I spoke with insurance and was told this is false) will be referred to pain doctor over an hour away. Been 1 0 weeks and no authorization. S/w Heather regarding authorization. Basically told me not her fault, it's the doctor. Will contact insurance today. As of today.... Reciever request for x-rays of back. Not sure why since my back is fine. Waithing over 2 months so far to see pain doctor to get refills on pain meds ive been on for 20 years. Paperwork for x-rays show wrong diagnosis and wrong date of service. Pam states that was date requested. D.O.S. STANDS FOR DATE OF SERVICE. Dr and Pam showed no concern that false information was entered by them. Filed complaint with Wellcare Proclvider Relations. Told Dr I would change providers and his response was "good". Beware of stopping meds without warning. I'm so upset that he abruptly stopped my 91 mother's med of alprazolam .5 mg, which she was taking 1\2 tab twice a day. It can't get any lower for the dose !! This is the only medicine that works for her anxiety. She is now screaming all day and all night, at the facility disturbing other residents and staff. This is absurb !!!!!! The only chance I have to get her low dose medicine is to change primary docs. The facility will have to deal with her screaming for two weeks. Beware of stopping meds without warning. New patient onboarding was quick and easy. They saw me on my first visit and didn’t treat it as simply a “welcome” visit. Not sure why so many negative reviews here. Dr Salhotra is one of the nicest I've ever been to. He really takes the time to listen to his patients and works with you to find solutions to your issues that you're comfortable with. As for the complaints I see about his refusal to refill or prescribe controlled substances, this is standard across the medical system now. As a chronic pain patient myself, I am frustrated with the system too. However, the over hyped so called opioid crisis which has nothing to do with legitimate chronic pain patients, has caused family practitioners to be scared to prescribe anymore. It's also a liability issue for them. So unfortunately, now, we have to go out of our way to see separate doctors known as pain specialists. Been a patient of Dr.Salhotra"s for 12 years and I have nothing but good to say about him and I respect him thoroughly. He is the best doctor this desert has ever had the pleasure of having. He has been my girl's family doctor for 30 years. If you want a trustworthy, honest,caring and knowledgeable doctor. Dr. Prem Salhotra is the doctor for you and all. Great family doctor, very thorough. Gives you 100 pecent of his attention. Staff is helpful too.

We are very happy with Dr Salholtra and his staff. They always take time to listen and give us the best care possible.

An appointment with Dr. Salhotra is like seeing a favorite uncle. His years of experience let him get to the root of my problem(s) immediately, and treat it; but more importantly, he motivates me to take proper care of my own health. Furthermore, he advises me on dealing with my 76-year-old body so that I feel as though all will ultimately be OK. This is the old-fashioned doctor who seems happiest when his patients don't really need him any more.

Dr. Salhotra is very thorough, knowledgeable and caring. He is well-informed about the medications he prescribes when they are necessary and won't simply treat a side effect with yet another med. He has a reputation for being the best physician in the hi desert, and the reputation is well-deserved. Dr. Salhotra is the doctor I've been looking for all my life!

He is courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He addresses issues with common sense language and helps me understand the options available. He always speaks with me as an equal and I am pleased he is my doctor.

Was so pleased with my visit, could not find a Doctor for treatment so Dr. Salhotra treated me himself very through and professional, I am a former Desert Regional Medical Center employee and am very pleased with my treatment.

Dr. Salhotra is a wonderful, caring doctor. I have been taking my elderly mother to him for years. He always takes to time to carefully check and talk to her.

Been his patient over 8 yrs. Would fight to keep him. Any negative reviews I have read that are true? Yes, he goes fast. If you can tell me another Dr That doesn't go fast, I still won't change. Do you put the brakes on when he's in a hurry. If I don't agree with him I argue and I concede about 10 percent. Do you? Be a responsible patient. If you think he is leaving too soon, the phrase you need to learn is "wait I'm not done.

Long appointment wait time. I had an appointment for my son on Wednesday. But then was told since he is new to the office i have to wait till the ninth pf bad month. Horrible.

He listened to me at the most important times of my life. And helps me keep my meds up dated. The staff is very competent in their duties. Thank you for being such a blessing.

The good Dr. does a lousy job at blood pressure control. For six months and three appointments I tried to get an increase in meds. The sweethearts in the office give low ball readings but my 2 machines at home tell the truth. At the last appointment I took my machine with me and she came up with this ridiculously low pressure reading. They are either incompetent or doing harm to this patient. Neither is O.K., I got angry at the careless way they treat this patient. Be Careful!

I had an appointment on Aug 4, 2014 at 9:00 am. When I made the appointment I told the receptionist that it was important to me that the doctor be on time because I had to be somewhere else at 10:30. By 10:00 am the doctor had not come to see me. I had another appointment to attend to, so I left and said I would reschedule. I am a friend of a woman whose husband recently died. She has been prescribed Vicodin 3 times a day and Ativan as needed for the last year. This has confused her mind so badly and caused her so much fear that she is barely able to function. Her other medications are way over prescribed. She has many more than she she should.
