After seeing Dr. Young, I was prescribed a new regimen that cleared up my skin almost immediately. She is very knowledgeable and knows her stuff she had my skin healed up fast also she spends quality time with her patients

Dr. Young is amazing! She is extremely thorough with her care, taking the time to listen to her patients and giving a myriad of remedies so that the patient is comfortable with the treatment plan. She has made a considerable difference in my dermatologic care!

I saw two dermatologists before seeing Dr. Young. I had been going through rounds of thrush with my second child and none of the other two at IU would treat my son & I at the same time - they kept sending me back to my pediatrician and then back to a dermatologist. So we kept passing the thrush back and forth. When I finally found her (per a recommendation from a friend), she had such compassion and knowledge that she treated us both immediately. Years after, she has treated me for psoriasis, acne, and now further issues related to my autoimmune disease. She talks fast but listens closely. She is incredibly knowledgeable and quick to understand, assessing, giving advice, and developing treatment strategies with you. I always have full confidence in her. She explains everything clearly - giving you her honest assessment based on experience and the latest information. I cannot recommend her enough. I hope they keep her happy at Dawes Fetzin. Dr. Young moves between patients so fast that I think it is more about making money than practicing medicine. Additionally there were two different times where I had patches on my skin that she said were nothing, but I insisted they be removed and they both times they ended up being basal cell carcinoma.

Very kind to squeeze me last minute into her busy schedule. Very pleasant and attentive to all my questions. I had very quick improvement following her recommendations and a generic treatment.

She is quick, but good!

I have had 2 kids see Dr Young over the years. 8 years ago, she was amazing--caring, kind and understanding. She spoke to my daughter and not to me. She was willing to try lots of different medications. But something has changed--she is now curt and rude. She was borderline cruel to my 15 year old. Who cried for days after last appt. She only pushes accutane and if you don't take it--she is essentially done with you. So disappointed and finding a new derm.

She has been my dermatologist for 5 years. I have been their six times since March. First she said my inflammation was from stress. Ok, I was under stress. Systems got worse, rash spreading. More steroids, etc, etc. I have been miserable since April with scratching. Last time I wanted her to look at my groin area, she said I know your inflamed and left the room. I went to a new dermatologist yesterday, in five minutes, he did a scraping and discovered I had scabies. Won't be going back!

Dr. Young barely dedicated 5 minutes to my concerns. I had my first appointment with her after having to wait 3 months and after filling out a long questionnaire about my concerns and issues only to arrive and have to recall everything I had already written down on the questionnaire. Dr. Priya Young had no interest in addressing my concerns and went as far as insulting me, telling me to go back to my country when I asked her for more tips on helping control the itchy skin.
