Rachel surgically treated my wife’s breast cancer. She did a fantastic job and is a great doctor. We are always grateful that we had her.

Pretty much a terrible person by her actions.

She is a terrible person, but that's ok because she is a docter.

She has a nasty, self-absorbed attitude. If you want a doctor with a genuinely kind disposition, this is not the one for you!

If this is the DR that ran over the police she should be ashamed of herself .Wishes at least she got fired for the crime she did,black people been kiled by police for doing much less than her.

Horrible personality in an industry that kills more people than it saves. Look up her criminal past to see just why she deserves much less than a 'one star'

This doctor is truly atrocious! Read up on this surgeon in the news after she made a spectacle out of herself. First, she tries to avoid a summons and drives away. Then, she runs down a police offer by injuring the poor soul, has a temper tantrum, and starts screaming/ranting saying “I have patients that are dying. I have to go. I’m the hero, the cops are not", while making homophobic slurs at the officers. After reading more about her in the New York Post and Daily News, she has no remorse and is unapologetic to the officer that she tried to seriously injured! Ever know why medical doctors continue to be vilified and degraded in American society these days? Just look her up and see for yourself what her actions have led her and why! She's now terminated at Montefiore Medical Center and glad she is! Hope she has her medical license removed and those higher up in should look more into this. Her job is that of love and compassion she goes through life and death stress everyday. GIVE HER A BREAK

Doctors put themselves on the line everyday, taking care of sick people and dealing with all the noise that gets in the way of that. no one knows the stress a doctor can be in except for another doctor. Doc, pay no attention to the haters, keep your eyes on your patients and God. More than 6 years ago during a routine exam, 3 days after a perfectly negative mammogram, I was diagnosed with late stage III metastatic breast cancer with an unknown primary (a rare occurrence). I was told that only 50 percent of individuals with this extent of cancer will be alive 5 years later. Shortly thereafter I met with several breast surgeons in New York City. I CHOSE Dr. Wellner because of her extraordinary intelligence, compassion, caring, sensitivity, and support and genuine interest in me as a human being. She never failed to be there every moment I needed her and gave of herself unhesitatingly both professionally and personally during the many months of radiation and chemotherapy in addition to my surgery. I do not think I would be alive today if it were not for her. She has since treated other individuals I have known and has been no different in each and every situation. I have experienced who she is as a person and a doctor and truly believe she is one of the best of both! As long as people are rating Dr Wellner as a doctor based on the media spectacle, I would like to rate her as a human being. I have know Rachel for 4 years. I met her in Yoga class. I have seen her in situations where this personality many say she has could have appeared. IT NEVER DID. She is compassionate, dedicated and I can only say if she drove off she was afraid and provoked. Has anyone looked at her history? have they looked at the history of the cop that assaulted her?
