Dr. Mehta is a kind, humble person and an absolutely incredible surgeon. We saw several doctors and received similar vague diagnoses from each, before finding Dr. Mehta. He took a tremendous amount of care in the diagnostic phase of treatment before operating on my 7 yo. He thoroughly explained surgery and addressed every question we had. One year after surgery, my son’s hearing is normal. We are so grateful to this wonderful doctor.

Dr. Mehta has great bedside manner he is very caring as well! He takes the time to listen to you like and then explains everything including your cat scans etc. I just recommended him to my cousin. He didn't think he was going to be able to go through my ear canal but once surgery started he was! No mastiodectomy for me ! No cutting behind the ear at all! If you are looking for a talented and caring doctor he's the one!
Had a Cholesteatoma removed, answered anything and everything I asked. Requested further tests to make certain surgery was the best road to take, I was glad for this. Was patient with family questions while I was in recovery and kept everyone posted during the surgery. Takes time with patients despite being quite busy, I'm sure.
Dr. Mehta caught what he thought could be a problem with my son's MRI (the only one ever done on his skull fracture) and referred us to another Dr who was not convinced. We opted to have surgery due Dr Mehta's concern and it turned out that he was right. Without the surgery, a bad accident could've had a very bad outcome.
I was transferred to The Lady of the Lakes, Baton Rouge from another hospital that had done the surgery, until it went bad. Dr Mehta and his team took over and I was so blessed to have him as my Dr. he worked magic and Gods gift to bring me back, again he's a great Dr and always checked on me while in ICU.
