Dr. Rakesh Prashad

Arrogant doctor-rushed appointment. Felt underserved if at all served. Disinterested in reviewing my tests, meds or any concerns. PA seems to run the office. Do not recommend.

If there were any way to give negative stars I would. Stay clear of this quack it may save your life. In my opinion he and Citrus Cardiology are dangerous.

Dr. Prashad is a wonderful doctor. He takes his time to explain my care and he answers the questions that I have. He has a great supporting staff. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a cardiologist

Dr. Prashad is a stellar physician. He takes his time to explains himself and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. His bedside manners are exceptional. I would not recommend Dr. Prashad to anyone!   He is unprofessional, inconsiderate and egotistical.  Our first visit consisted of him berating his PA and taking a call regarding his new partnership and the financial transactions that would need to happen to secure the partnership as he sat in the examine room on the phone long enough for me to overhear the conversation.   His resident seemed to be more knowledge than him regarding my husbands condition.   Then while checking out he had the gall to come over to me and ask questions that had already been answered to then only say "that's above my pay grade".  Never would I ever go to this man. Shortest Appointment Attentiveness; he is much too busy, apparently, for my well-being. There are better Cardiologists in Marion county.....including Dr. Das whose staff/subordinates are far more patient-oriented and attentive. Same Building, too.

This man saved my life because he was smart enough to know that what to do with my situation. He send me to another doctor who had skills that I needed and he did not feel he was the one to perform what needed done. Now that is caring for your patient.

The Best there is. one of the outstanding quality's about DR Prashad is each and every one of his patients is treated like a family member, His staff works in the same manner. In closing ( HE CARES)

Dr. Prashad is extremely well qualified and very experienced. I went to him for the first time with mild pain in my throat during exercise. After examining me in his office he said I had a blockage, maybe more than one, probably on the left side of my heart, and that I needed a cardiac catheterization. The cath was so bad that I needed immediate heart surgery. The "widow maker" artery (left side) was 95% blocked. A surgeon performed a double bypass and said I was lucky to be alive

Dr. Prashad is both very professional and very personable. He explains, he asks questions and he listens. He makes one feel comfortable in asking a question.

Met Dr. Prashad for the first time when I went to the ER for Afib.....liked him from the start...kept me totally informed of what was going on and what his course of action was to be.....have been his patient for 4 years now and trust his judgment...his assistant Lynette is great and very knowledgeable and the office staff is courteous and accommodating....very friendly office....am very pleased with the care I receive
